Got more than we expected with a lovely spacious room with a large comfortable bed, dining table and two chairs, breakfast bar with stools, fully equipped small kitchenette complete with dishwasher. We were in room Louryenac. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower. Plenty of storage space in the bathroom and bedroom/living room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the host was very friendly. There is a laundry room, toilet and a lounge area as you come into the entrance to the rooms. Although situated within the old city, it is a quiet area.
We rented a studio apartment for our 10 day stay in Dubrovnik and were delighted with our choice. We were able to stow our luggage safely when we arrived, and were conveniently located near the Pile Gate and everything we needed. The apartment is a great location as you can get there without climbing dozens of steps to come and go. This was important for my spouse. Many apartments inside the wall involve a walk of several flights of rocky steps (especially on the east side of the city), so we felt fortunate with our choice. Our unit was on the first floor as well, so that helped even more. The unit was clean, well appointed, and it was nice to have windows that open for fresh air. If you need a view out your window, do not stay anywhere inside the old city. You will be in a very cozy neighborhood with narrow streets. We enjoyed the sounds of the street below, and it was quiet at night so our sleep was not disturbed. There is a washing machine and dryer available to guests (no charge, and they provide laundry soap). The unit has everything else you will need. Restaurants, a market, and gelato are all within easy walking distance. Enjoy the experience.…
The location couldn’t be better! Right inside the walls, near all the restaurants and action. Less than 5 minutes walking to anywhere in the walls. This place is modern and clean. There is a washer and dryer available for guests to use. Our unit had a kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, water kettle and all the utensils needed. Loved our stay!
We were provided by email a code to access the building. Our keys were in an envelope inside in a desk. Multi story building. Appears recently renovated. Bottom floor had common area, bathroom, and laundry room. No elevator. Central Stair case - Stairs to next floor had 2 units. Then another floor had 2 more units. Then larger unit on top. We had room labeled “Revelin” on 3rd floor. Across from us was “Lovryenac”. Our unit was a suit apartment style. We had a very nice King bed unit. Very good bed. Clean. Soft. 4 pillows. Clean sheets. Private HVAC unit in room. We could control temp. Kitchen area had stove top, microwave, sink, small frig, plates, cups, frying pan, pot, small island table with 2 chairs, coffee pot for drip coffee, hot water pot, salt, pepper, starter instant coffees, dish washing liquid, paper towels, toaster oven, and dish washer. Bathroom with large walk in shower. Shower gel and clean towels provided. Great water pressure. Outside of no elevator which wasn’t a big deal for us this place was perfect for us. Inside Old Town had 2 grocery stores within 2 minute walk. We made breakfast in our unit each morning!! We did not have daily maid cleanings but we didn’t expect that. We actually prefer that so we know somebody is not coming in our unit while we are out. For the price this was better than expected. I feel they could charged twice as much. …
The apartment is super comfortable and perfectly clean. The location is perfect: central and quiet. The service is outstanding, very friendly, polite, competent staff! Domenika was super friendly and welcoming and gave me many valuable recommendations of everything I needed, promptly each time I messaged her, what really made a difference. Thank you so much for providing me with such a wonderful stay! Highly recommended
These apartments are in the old town of Dubrovnik. They are also on the flatter bit so there is not a trek up any steps to get there as there can be with some apartments. We had the two bedroom/two bathroom apartment with friends and it was ideal. The rooms were well decorated and modern and the bathrooms very spacious and clean. Much more sociable then staying in a hotel. We were literally steps away from shops, bar and restaurants. It is worth staying in the old town to be close by to everything. This is a great place for a city break and good value considering the standard of accommodation. You have to check in at another location but it is not far away so not problem.. Would recommend it.
We spent 3 nights at the Celenga Apartments. Spotlessly clean with a large comfy bed, kitchenette and large walk in shower. Laundry room on the ground floor which was useful for washing and drying our kayaking gear. The apartment is not serviced and that suited us perfectly as you don’t have to work around room service. There was a sofa and table on the large landing between rooms which we used as a meeting point. No reception but a manager is available if you need any assistance. Our flight wasn’t until 8.45pm and we were able to leave our cases in the ground floor lounge (check out was 11am) and then go back to rest and use the cloak room before leaving for the airport. Nice and central and close to everything in Dubrovnik Old Town. Would definitely stay there again.
My wife and I enjoyed 4 lovely nights at Celenga. Our apartment, in a quiet central location within the city walls, was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities, including an invaluable laundry. All the old town attractions, including some fabulous restaurants, were only steps away. (Incidentally, getting to this place by foot with luggage from Pile Gate was easy, with minimal steps!)
My husband and I enjoyed three terrific nights here in late September 2019, arriving somewhat bedraggled from a long series of flights from the western USA and minus my suitcase which failed to make the final leg from Frankfurt to Dubrovnik. Domenika, the terrific manager of these apartments, was incredibly helpful in working with us to locate the suitcase and arrange for it’s delivery, which thankfully took place the next morning. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and spotless, even though we never took advantage of the kitchenette. The location was perfect, in the heart of the Old City, and convenient to everything. Domenika was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and making reservations for us. Directions to find this accommodation were spot on. As has been noted, you can’t drive directly to the apartments, but will be dropped off if by taxi right outside the Pile Gate, from which you push your way through the hordes of tourists and follow the provided directions. We arranged for an airport pickup by email ahead of time which worked perfectly- our driver was delightful. Thankfully unlike many parts of the city, the apartments are not up more than just a few steps. Don’t be alarmed by the thought that there is no in-house staff- the passcode system worked like a charm, and Domenika is but a quick, short distance away. If we ever return to Dubrovnik we would definitely stay at the Celenga Apartments again!…
This apartment is right in the heart of the old city.........which means you need to walk with your bags to it ,,,,,which if the city is crowded can be a challenge. Its a bit hard to find so when you book, make sure you get good directions as to where to go and how to get in as there is no reception at the apartments.......but dont be put off as the reward on finding it is well worth the effort. The location is superb, the apartment is beautifully furnished and its great value for money we absolutely loved t!!!
