Stunning hotel! It’s actually a number of different areas, almost like a university campus. We staying in the Princess but we could use the facilities of all the hotels. The rooms were clean and spacious, with interconnected rooms for the children. Numerous pools all had their own individual personalities - kids/adults/relaxed etc. so you can have a different experience every day of the week. Despite its size, we always managed to find sun loungers with beach towels a plenty. The gym (I only visited one of two) is adequate with average machines and weights. The spa (again I only visited one of two!) area is nice, although not separated from the main pool area, so not ideal if you want some R&R away from the kids. The breakfast was well stocked, with a vast range of excellent food with very friendly and efficient service. There are a number of different restaurants to choose from, or you can walk to sunset beach (15 mins) along a coastal footpath (beautiful in the evening and perfectly safe). But along the costal edge the hotel has jaw dropping views of the sea, with countless sites to dip into the sea and even cliff-dive. The reception staff we very friendly, spoke fluent English and were always welcoming and helpful. We had a terrific time and would definitely return with the kids (10 and 12).…
Overall a nice hotel although it’s quite a walk from Dubrovnik Old Town. Situated in a lovely spot overlooking the sea. My thoughts are that the more than disappointing evening meals might have been due to the time of year we were staying - which was May. There were 2 breakfast areas which we only found out several days into our holiday. The smaller one we went to initially was bedlam most mornings. There never seemed to be coordination by the staff. There was much more food in the larger dining area and more choice. The evening meals which never had many people attending for a 5 star hotel was for want of a better word a disgrace. There was more than one evening that the offering for potatoes was powdered Smash!!!! The food was lukewarm at best unless you were there as soon as the dining room opened. Goodness knows what it would have been like towards the end of service. We had to eat out several evenings or we would have been hungry. I did mention the problems one evening to a manager but I would just as well have saved my breath as he wasn’t interested!!! Definitely not a hotel which would encourage us back. …
The hotel, location, ocean, and staff were excellent. We had a partial view (we were a little disappointed as we had booked an executive seaview room with a balcony but had a tree right in front of our balcony so our view was on either side of the tree. They did offer us a different room but it was not updated nor did it have the cupboards our original had so we stayed in our room and got use to the tree!
Definitely not a 5 star resort. Property surroundings are very nice, nice access to the beach, and the promenade. Rooms very outdated although they are supposedly new, ac did not work properly during our entire stay of 3 nights, the lowest real temperature available was 24 although it read 19 c degrees, this during the hottest part of the summer; they tried to fix it a few times, and ver tried to move to a new room; but the situation was the same, general problem. Breakfast completely crowded, not very nicely served, almost chaotic. Food was not of good quality in any of their restaurants (we tried 3)
Amazing hotel with excellent breakfast, many pools and great SPAs. The adult only pool on top of the breakfast restaurant has the warmest water and is wasn't crowded at any time. There is a lovely walk along the see side leading to the city and more restaurants. Great views along the walk.
This was my first time in Croatia and my stay at Royal Hotels exceeded all expectations! On this trip my boyfriend and I stayed in the Ariston seaview room. Truly the most beautiful view I have ever seen. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, clean, and were a 5-star experience. One of the best perks is the location. The hotels are only 10-minutes from the Old City and we never had an issue getting an Uber. We also treated ourselves to the Ragusa Boat Experience offered by the hotel and they took us out on a 6-hour island hopping tour. It was the perfect excursion to see all that Croatia has to offer! Great dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The views from every restaurant are incredible. All in all, had the best experience at Royal Hotels and I can’t wait until we get to stay here again!…
This has been my 5th summer in Dubrovnik over the past 10 years and I have stayed at Royal Hotels every summer...and it just keeps getting better and better. On this trip my girlfriend and I had an Ariston seaview room which looks to have been brand new for the 2022 summer season. The room is incredible (see picture below) with a glass sliding door across the entire room opening to the balcony facing the Adriatic. The rooms were spotless. The bathrooms pristine with great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was part of the package and was 10/10 with plenty of options across the board. The view from the terrace for your first meal of the day never gets old. The staff from bellmen to managers are professional and happy to help. Everyone speaks English and is efficient. The hotel is only a 10-minute Uber to the Old City and never too much trouble to get to. I highly recommend taking the hotel boat out for a 6-hour island hopping tour. Worth every penny with Captain Rob who is kind, professional, and knowledgeable of all the surrounding Croatian islands. #ragusaboatexperience I've done the boat multiple times and it's always the highlight of my trip. The views and sunsets from the hotel are absolutely stunning. If you are with your significant other, by yourself, or with family...if you're planning to come to Dubrovnik, stay at Royal Hotels. I've never see one frown while I've stayed there. :)…
Excellent hotel in Dubrovnik. Fantastic ambience, facilities, service and a jaw dropping location overlooking the Adriatic coastline. A truly first class experience and hotel. Thank you Royal Resorts! I highly recommend if you are visiting Dubrovnik.
I do not have enough words to explain how great is this hotel starting with the facility and with the warmth of the people who works there very hard the cleaning crew receptionist concierge all of them one by one great warm and beautiful people very polite making sure to provide a great warm accommodation and a great memory as the people of Dubrovnik made our stay beautiful, Love you all from the Moshe family.
We are a family of four who stayed at the Royal Palm, which had beautiful sea views and a lovely, spacious room. The hotel facilities are excellent - really well organised and spotlessly clean throughout. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s the perfect place to relax and have fun as a family, but with easy access to Dubrovnik.
