A sophisticated boutique setting with only 12 superior and deluxe bedrooms and 1 suite, the Kazbek Hotel is a 'home from home' for many discerning Dubrovnik visitors looking for a high degree of privacy and modern facilities in a historical ambience. The Kazbek is situated in Gruz bay only 10 min of drive from UNESCO protected Dubrovnik Old City. The former residence of 16th-century nobility now protected as a cultural monument is fully renovated to the highest standards and has regained its original beauty and function. Refined and graceful rooms all individually designed, perfectly combine classical style with 21st century amenities and comfort. You will love breakfasting on the beautiful courtyard terrace, sunbathing and relaxing at the private pool area. The rich and varied gastronomic cultures of Croatia can be tasted at the restaurant, where only the freshest and locally produced ingredients are used. The whole Kazbek area is a completely non smoking zone.

We all really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely place, nice spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent breakfast. The location also worked well for us. It’s a 5 minute walk followed by a 10 minute bus ride to the gates of the old town, which was fine, but on our 2nd

Beautiful, elegant boutique hotel with especially attentive staff and a very good restaurant. Our room was very well designed in terms of style, ease of use, and comfort. Before reserving here, the key consideration is location. On one hand, the hotel is 15-30 minutes by taxi

Dear sunra7, Thank you for staying with us and rating us this highly. We are happy to hear that our location was convenient for you. It's true, Dubrovnik Old City is pretty much busy from March until end October and our location which is 10-15 min drive or up to 40 min walk from there becomes more an more popular and, as you said, is a great escape and base to explore Dubrovnik and its region. We appreciate as well that you mention our restaurant. Thank you again for your comments and we do hope to welcome you back to Hotel Kazbek in the near future. With kindest regards, Pave Miloglav

Dear tiger_anne_10, Thank you for your question. There are several restaurants in the walking distance ( couple to ten minutes walk from the hotel).the area is called Lapadska obala and Uvala Lapad. Should you need any further info xou can contact us at info@kazbek.hr. Kindest regards

This hotel is amazing, and we preferred staying away from the old town, and the beach, as both areas only had tourist restaurants. However this hotel has a better location, there are many restaurants near by, you just need to walk around the harbour and you will find them.....with a little help from TripAdvisor too🙂 My favourite restaurant was Tavern Otto, the best food, and not even overpriced. We also eat at Orka mentioned above, which was also good, but more pricey then it needs to be. The hotel restaurant was also lovely, to unwind after a long day sightseeing. This was the only hotel my husband has held the need to review too, as he could not fault a single thing! He loved it here.

Our Superior rooms on the first floor ( 14, 15, 16, 17) have big windows and are away from the elevator. You can contact us at info@kazbek.hr with your room preferences and we can suggest you which room would be the best for you. We hope this helps. Kindest regards from Dubrovnik
