We booked this hotel early January as we wanted to stay outside of the buzy Dubrovnik old town area. Due to covid Dubrovnik was not busy at all, but we were glad we stayed here. We felt so safe!!! Handgel before you enter, designated chairs at the pool that remain yours during your stay, friendly staff. We had rooms on the first floor with lots of natural light. Great a la carte breakfast. Very near to Greengarden Food Bar ( great place for a quick lunch ) and the fabulous Orka restaurant ! Make sure you book their private boat for a memorable trip to the Elafiti islands.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of it, it is an ideal base for exploring the area. The hotel staff are so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There is a local (and very busy) bus service that runs past the hotel to the old town and we used it everyday day following a long lazy and relaxing breakfast in the courtyard that set us up for the day. The rooms are very well equipped, incredibly clean and tastefully done. Our short stay in Dubrovnik will stay with me for a long time and we are so glad we chose this place as a city break destination. The Hotel Kazbek certainly played it's part in the fond memories I have of the Croatians their city and their culture.

Stayed 4 nights. We've traveled a lot in Europe and this is one of the better hotels we've stayed at. As others have noted, it's about two miles from the old city but the bus is very convenient, especially since the hotel will sell you bus tickets. (We took Uber once or twice which also was OK.) The hotel staff is fantastic as is the outdoor patio where they serve breakfast. Nice pool though it was too cool to use it. Spacious room. Had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. (Restaurant Orka down the road is also good.) Overall, we highly recommend the Kazbek.
