Honestly a horrible hotel to stay at! They initially put us in Room 8 where the fridge wasn't working, some sockets were broken, the TV wasn't working and the bathroom door didn't close. They switched us to room 11 but the bathroom door still wouldn't close. The hotel had no working Wi-Fi at all. They kept telling us that they would fix it but they never did. The rooms are very small and there aren't even any cupboards to store or hang your clothes - just two small bedside drawers. The beds aren't very comfortable either. The free breakfast included was poor as well. We were told it would be a breakfast buffet but instead it was just someone telling you what is available. The options were very limited and the continental breakfast was simply slices of pork and cheese with bread. Because of all of the above, they gave us a little discount and a free dinner one night which was nice. The only good thing about the hotel is the location (a few minutes walk from the main attractions). Definitely avoid this hotel if you can as nothing seemed to be working and the breakfast was barely a breakfast!…
Booked Orhan Rooms for two nights but we only stay one night. Rooms were very outdated and not clean. Mold in Bathroom. Blood on the bed sheet. AT midnight we found bed bugs on the sheet. Disgusting place NEVER back again
You have to go to the Orhan Restaurant to check in which is easy to find. The room was ready early so a plus there and it was a short stroll around the corner. The location is ideal as it is only 3 minutes from Pile Gate. The room is basic to say the least but clean and tidy. The size was adequate and there was aircon if needed. The shower room was a reasonable size. The bed was very comfortable. There is a terrace below to sit out under the stars at the end of the evening if you desire. The down sides were that the tv did not have an aerial so did not work, there are no tea/coffee making facilities and the shower tray did not drain properly after day 2 so you had to keep turning the shower off to let the water drain away before overflowing. This is good for location and if you are using the room only for resting your head at night, well worth the money.…
We stayed a few days. We checked in at the restaurant, but the rooms were around the corner. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are dated, but clean. The bonus was a really strong aircon unit. The best part was the view at breakfast - absolutely to die for. Breakfast was served from 8am to 10am and there were hot foods (fried egg, roasted courgettes and peppers, sausages, scrambled egg and ham), cold meats and cheese, cereal and bread rolls. Drinks - coffee/tea and orange juice.
A very small hotel with only a few rooms. Very clean, but some broken parts in the room. A fantastic view for the outdoor breakfast. A quiet corner just outside the overcrowded Dubrovnik old town. A short walk to old town, and also short walk to different “beaches”.
