My partner and I have just had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel. You cannot fault the service in anyway, Mirela and her team went so above and beyond any expectations. Before we had even arrived Mirela contacted us and arranged a private transfer from the airport (worth booking in our opinion) and then met us from where we got dropped off to take us back to the hotel. She was so helpful in answering all our questions, giving tips and advice and as we had a late flight home, allowed us to leave our suitcases at the hotel and even come back if we needed to use a toilet during the day! The hotel only has 5 rooms, we stayed in room 4 which had everything we needed - a safe, kettle with a variety of teas, a complimentary chocolate bar and water, great en suite and not to mention the fabulous daily maid service. The bed was VERY comfortable, we had the best nights sleep, and the room offered a lovely view over the city. It was a bonus to have white company toiletries too! If I had to be really picky I would say the pillows were slightly on the thinner side. The hotel is in a perfect location, literally a stones throw from the Main Street of old town. The free WiFi was also great. The hotel does not offer breakfast but they do give discounted vouchers to a cafe nearby.

Given how competitive the hotel market is in the old town, booking this place felt a little risky given its more a collection of rooms rather than a typical hotel. I could not have been more wrong. The welcome we received was incredibly friendly and informative, providing my wife and I with excellent tips and recommendations. Please take this advice on board if you stay here, as we saved money at attractions and restaurants.

The main thing that stood out to both of us was how incredibly clean our entire suite was. When I say clean, I mean very clean. The whole apartment felt like it had only recently been decorated and everything looked and felt high quality, even down to the White Company soap in the ensuite.

We booked the room on the top floor which came with a private staircase, living room, bedroom and ensuite. Although I can’t speak for all the other rooms, this one was spectacular. The view from the living room window overlooks a good amount of the old town, including the charming bells of the church and city walls. Both the living room and bedroom had air conditioning, although they need the room key in the slot to activate. Just keep this in mind if you’re expecting to walk back into an already air conditioned room, as it needs turning on when you come in. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite shower was spacious and a good water pressure.

The hotel provide a discount voucher for a local restaurant for breakfast not too far from the hotel. The choices available were perfectly adequate and set us up for exploring the city.

Having looked at some of the other reviews, I’d like to clarify a few things. Yes, the hotel is up some steps and lugging the suitcase up them once was a little tiring. However, I’m not entirely sure what anyone expects in the middle of a city which predates the discovery of most known countries. The hotel isn’t right in the middle of all the action - this is a good thing. It’s far enough away to get a good nights sleep but close enough you’re in the middle of old town in 2 mins.

Having explored a number of places around Europe and been in some fantastic hotels, this may be one of the very best I’ve been to.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The whole place was immaculate and room 5 has the most beguiling views overlooking the old town. We did find the hotel a little on the expensive side for what they offered, that being said, I do appreciate that you are paying a premium for the convenient location and views. We were perplexed that when paying the bill, we were unable to pay with a combination of card and cash as it had to be one or the other - I did find this unusual as I have never experienced this before....I really don't know what difference it makes as long as they are getting paid!

I’m staying just one night in the suite in the top floor of this lovely hotel. We booked this place due to wonderful reviews here on TA. We are sorry we’re only here for one night! Suite #5 (only suite) is at the top floor and as has been said you need to be very fit to stay here. All of Dubrovnik is very hilly requiring lots of stairs, and this hotel is no exception. If the stairs don’t scare you off you’re in for a lovely stay in a modern hotel with beautiful furnishings, a good shower (water pressure is everything!) and it’s just 20 steps up from the Main Street in this beautifully restored town. The owner is very accommodating, arranging rides from the harbor and to the airport for us. Come walk the wall & see the sights but wear sturdy shoes!

We stayed in Dominus Rooms for 4 nights. The rooms are part of the Dominus Little Palace Hotel but are situated just behind the Hotel down a quiet little cobbled street. You have to walk up a few steps off the main old town street but it’s well worth it. The rooms have a lovely old charm to them, the street they’re on is a little run down but and the drains at the beginning of the street were a bit smelly but that didn’t affect our room at all. The room was made up every day and the large bed was very comfortable. So were the pillows. Mirela on the reception was very helpful and she arranged taxi transfers to and from the airport. It was a lovely place to stay and added to the enjoyment of our break in Dubrovnik

I’m doing this review a little early as we don’t check out until tomorrow morning, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget to review this lovely little hotel.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient part of old town, up a major street, but where the street narrows and becomes quiet. The rooms are small but very well appointed, decorated, and have great bathrooms. Like the rest of Dubrovnik there are stairs - to the hotel and to your room.
The owner and staff are very welcoming and really go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable time in Dubrovnik. When we arrived we were met at Pile gate to transport our luggage and escort us to the hotel. This was especially helpful as Dubrovnik old town is walking only and initially the streets can be confusing.
Being a very small hotel the front desk isn’t manned all of the day and not at all overnight. However we were given contact information for the owner and told to ring anytime day or night.
Overall this is a very nice hotel at a good price point for its quality and location. Also Dubrovnik is a beautiful town and we really enjoyed our visit.

We stayed on the top floor (a sitting room and a separate double bedroom with a nice en suite) and the views over the city were fabulous. The two rooms were well decorated, fresh and clean. The location was perfect… just a minute’s walk up a side street.

I can't recommend this fantastic family run hotel highly enough. Located within the old city walls it provided the perfect place for us during our stay - only a short stroll to the heart of the old city while being just far enough away from the bustle and noise of the main street (but not too many of the unavoidable steps to climb!) The rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and Mirela and her lovely family are excellent and welcoming hosts. We will definitely stay here again.

My Wife and I stayed just last week. We were treated like royalty! Airport transfers were sorted for us, and as cars are not allowed into the old town, a member of the team came to meet us at the Pile gate, took our suitcases from us and guided us to the Hotel.
We opted for the Executive Suite, spotless, comfy, and a great view.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team, a truly wonderful experience.
Thank you so much guys
Michael and Sara Driscoll

We stayed here after staying the previous night at the Dominus Rooms and wanting an extra night in beautiful Dubrovnik. The hotel and rooms link so the staff were more than helpful in sorting another room, allowing us to view and doing a great deal on this. We stayed in a suite which was simply stunning and had breathtaking views. This hotel was a great find due to its location and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend
