Absolutely beautiful hotel. Right in the centre of old town yet you can’t hear anything outside so a full comfortable nights sleep is without question. Probably the nicest staff we have ever met, always a smile & nothing too much trouble - brought us down to the Port to catch the ferry on our checkout. Highly highly recommend, we would not hesitate to stay here again upon return to Split
My fiancé and I had a checkout at 5:30 so breakfast boxes were prepared for us. Someone was always at the front desk for all our questions and recommendations regarding restaurants, excursions and transportation. From the arrival from the airport, all the way to departure, everything was absolutely spot on! he room was spotless, spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable! If you ever visit this Adriatic gem, this is the place to stay!
I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough. I stayed here for 3 nights with my 9 year old daughter and it was perfect. I organised a transfer with the hotel to pick us up from the airport, the driver was lovely and escorted us to the hotel reception, carrying our bags. The staff were so accommodating, British Airways lost one of my suitcases, which was so stressful, but the hotel staff took care of it for me and got my bag back. The deluxe double room was really spacious, clean and luxuriously decorated. We had a bit of noise in the evenings because of the city centre location but that was a small price to pay for being in such an ideal location to explore Split. The old town of Split is very walkable and it felt like a very safe place to wander around before returning to the hotel to sleep in the big comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door and provided a good choice of continental options plus eggs made to order. We were sad to leave but the hotel gave us, and our luggage, a lift in a golf cart to the port, which was a complimentary service and really appreciated. I would really love to return to Split again and stay at this hotel.…
The location and quality of this hotel are great, the room was large and lovely but it was the staffs friendliness and willingness to help really made our stay special. They couldn’t not have been more helpful. Thank you
My husband and I stayed here and it was a great experience. The location is perfect, right in the middle of old town. You have so many great bars and restaurants around and the Riva is a 1 min walk away.
I'm only interested in city break trips and I've been touring less famous cities in Europe for some time. Last weekend I visited Split for the first time (three years ago I was in the Croatian capital Zagreb) and I stayed in this hotel. Split thrilled me. This city is an undiscovered pearl of southern Europe. Piazza Heritage hotel is a pearl in this city full of hotels and private accommodation. Before the trip, I hesitated for a long time where to stay, and now I know I made a great choice. The hotel still smells new. Everything is very 5 starts, although the hotel basically has 4. The service is excellent and I have to thank the staff who saved me a lot of money from transfers, sightseeing to suggestions on where to go and where not. This experience I can describe as 'more value than money.'…
1) Charming and romantic! My wife and I fell in love with this hotel. We accidentally found this hotel (walk in, no booking) and for a very decent price we got a deluxe room overlooking the street, a fantastic breakfast and a true experience of life in the Mediterranean. As soon as the window of the room is opened, one gets the feeling of belonging to this place. Diocletian's Palace is a minute's walk away, and so is the coast. There are a lot of small bars and restaurants around the hotel. The first step outside the hotel is to enter the hustle and bustle of Split. Who loves such a feeling this is the right place. And when you walk into a hotel or a room you get the feeling like you’re in a movie. The beautifully decorated rooms provide a very romantic atmosphere. The hotel staff is professional, the service is up to standard. During September we traveled along the Croatian coast, from Dubrovnik to Rijeka, and this hotel is the best we have experienced on our trip.…
I stayed in Piazza Heritage Hotel in October for work. It surpassed all of my expectations, but mostly in the areas that were most important to me at this point. High speed internet, great breakfast, restaurant where you can organize a top business dinner, great location close to everything important in the city. I stayed three night in this hotel and already chose it for my next business trip to Split.
This is a truly excellent hotel. We we reserved the largest room (but not the most expensive) and it was very comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was large but did have a small shower cabin. We found the triple pane windows highly effective in minimizing the noise from the Plaza. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Closet and storage space was more than adequate. A Nespresso type coffee maker would be a nice addition. (only instant coffee was provided) Service was over the top wonderful. The owner/manager patiently worked with me in selecting the room and filling all our quirky requests. We utilized the hotel's complimentary pick-up at the catamaran dock and used their reasonably priced and very efficient airport transfer service. We found the breakfast in the small adjacent restaurant to be OK and felt some of the prior reviews to be overboard in their criticism. This was one of our best hotel experiences in the last 15 years.…
Great staff, great location, but the rooms are a bit small and the noise from the square at night isn't ideal. A little soundproofing would go a long way here! I recommend taking advantage of the free breakfast (it's great, and huge) and the day tours. The hotel driver took us on a great tour to the Krka waterfalls, Skradin town and the Kliss fortress!
