From the moment we arrived we so warmly greeted by a lovely lady on reception who you would swear she had met us before (never been to Croatia before) but that is how well we were greeted. Our room was beautiful, spacious and with great views. The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding and we felt totally safe at all times. Every staff member had exceptional customer service and nothing at all was too much trouble. The situation of the hotel was ideal for everything (beaches, nightlife, excursions, some incredible restaurants! I would highly recommend and have nothing at all negative to say about this hotel. I would advise using Uber to get around in Croatia or buses as taxi’s are quite expensive. Ubers were very reliable and generally with us within 5 - 10 minutes. Thank you to all the staff we miss you already! YOU made our holiday very special

We stayed at the hotel for a week before Easter 2022. The staff throughout the hotel, reception, restaurant and housekeeping, were all friendly and helpful.

We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was lovely and service great. Breakfast each morning was lovely, with plentiful supplies of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses and coffee to set you up for the day.

The pool and wellness centre was clean and well kept, and we used the pool and sauna each day.

Our rooms were great, with balconies and sea view, a fridge, lovely clean bathrooms and plenty of wardrobe space.

We had a great holiday, cannot fault this hotel, a great stay.

The staff were brilliant - very helpful indeed. The rooms were average - seemed rather dated for the price however the breakfast was absolutely appalling; breakfast is the only meal we wound have till dinner time. The selection was non existent with. It let the hotel down immensely.

Vedran is an excellent ambassador for the hotel, extremely helpful and very welcoming. The receptionists are helpful and so friendly. To be honest all the staff are lovely. We were 1/2,board and there was a great selection at breakfast. We ate in on several evenings and the food was very good. The indoor pool was great if you wanted a break from the sun.
We used Ubers to go the old town/ferry port/the mall, even Trogir as it kept us out of the heatwave.
The area is mostly hotels , a large chemist and aTommy supermarket couple of minutes away.
The beach is literally 5 minutes across the road and car park.Great for snorkelling just remember beach shoes as pebbles, the water is so clear!!!!. Some beach cafes for snacks or an evening drink.Hotel is a great vase to explore from, wonderful holiday .

Hotel facilities were good. Nice room. Breakfast was good. The road to the hotel from the west was blocked due to a large beach construction project (boardwalk?). So taxi will drop you a few hundred yards from the hotel because they can't get any closer. You will need to walk with all your bags the last stretch to the hotel. The sidewalk is ok. Road to the east is open, you need to tell your taxi/uber driver to come in from the other direction (from the east) to drop you right at the hotel. Uber's GPS apps don't show the blocked road, so you need to advise your drivers. Also that construction project extends to the beach in front of the hotel. So you can't walk directly from the hotel to the beach due to construction fencing. It might be nice when all the construction is done.

What a find! The staff of this warm and welcoming family run hotel were just fabulous. They couldn’t do enough for us, always sharing a smile and a kind word. The hotel is right on the beach, it has a lovely restaurant but there are other beach bars nearby too. There is also a convenience store very close by. It’s easy to Uber everywhere but there is a regular bus to take you straight into town if you prefer. Has a nice little gym. Great breakfast. The staff are just superb.

Big rooms and friendly, nice staff.
But full price for hotel that is under renovation nad doesn’t actually offer everything it states. Also infront of the hotel there is a building site and the machines start at 7AM.

Is it easy to get to the old town from the hotel and is there an airport shuttle? Thank you.
Answer from Hotel Fanat
Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia17 contributions
Dear Robert L, Thank you very much for contacting us. We are just about 4 km from the old town, we recommend our guests to take at least once the nice walk among the coast to get to the city center, in is about 45 minutes walk, or we can call you a cab to drive you to the city. Unfortunately there is no shuttle to the old town but there is bus line 15 that will bring you from the hotel to the old town. About the transfer from the airport to hotel or from the hotel to the airport: - You can take a bus from the airport to the city center ( main bus station ) and than line 15 from the main bus station to the hotel. - We can arrange transfer for you by car, the price is 34,00 € for 2-3 persons ( or 49,00 € 4-7 persons ) one way from the Airport to hotel Fanat. There is no need to pay in advance, you can pay to the driver in HRK, € or CC: Master, Maestro and Visa. If you want to book please send us the following details: Number of persons: Name: Date of arrival: Flight number: Departure airport: Arrival time at Split Airport: Feel free to contact us for any other information. Kind regards, Ledi Babić
