Lovely older but renovated hotel in the old city, next to Diocletian's Palace. Great service, small but workable room. Clean and comfortable. There are steps to the small lobby area. We heard the breakfast offered was good but did not eat breakfast there. Staff members were good. Parking is available but it's a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Not free but better prices than closer parking options. Hotel is in a terrific location an easy walk from everything. We reserved a "sea view" room and it was barely that (visible through a small window) but that was not important as the sea and the Riva (promenade) were just outside the hotel doors. Beds were comfortable, shower was great in the small bathroom.

This hotel is perfectly located in the old town next to the waterfront. Our room had an amazing view of the waterfront, was very cute with stone walls, and was clean. No elevator. If you want to park your car, the hotel parking is located 10 minutes away by foot, better to put your essentials in a backpack.

This place is neither Boutique nor Hotel, it is a simple Guesthouse. The beds need replacing and the bathroom too small. Photos on their website do not match what you find in reality. All in all the price does not match the quality despite the good location and the super breakfast.

Very comfortable snd spacious room; worth bringing the suitcases up. The staff helped us with everything we needed, including the suitcases. The only thing was that they work with a driver for private transfers, which is s great service, but the driver was unprepared, and didn't know where he was going, complaint about his day a lot snd was unhappy about us booking a long trip. He almost ruin our day, until we asked him to stop giving us a hard time.

Pluses - Location is right on the waterfront in the middle of the action and it’s literally part or the western side of the Diocletian palace. Room was clean. Staff are very nice and try to be helpful. Breakfast is simple, but very good. Fresh salad, avocado, mozzarella tomato, sunny side up eggs. Yum. Good European coffee. Minuses - a bit dated amenities like 20 year old hair dryer. Lots of stairs and no elevator. If you’re not physically very able and have lots of heavy luggage the staff try to help, but it could be difficult. A bit pricey, but overall very good.

Good hotel very centrally located for the old town and the waterfront and harbour. We stayed for two nights in a room on the second floor at the front of the hotel. Room had everything we needed and was clean and well presented. The hotel is part of the old town walls and so does not have lift - if you have mobility issues the. Would not recommend it. Apart from that we had a very nice stay before we boarded our sailing trip.

We probably should have taken more notice of the photos of this hotel as it was very dated in appearance - felt like I’d walked into a 70s or 80s guesthouse in Blackpool when entering the room. The reception and hallways were also pretty basic in appearance; polished wooden stairs, UPVC doors with metallic numbers stuck to them. The plus points to this hotel is that the room was clean, the bed was pretty comfortable and the external soundproofing was relatively good given that the room was facing the busy seafront area. The negatives were that the internal soundproofing was poor (we could hear arguments and conversations from other rooms and it was especially poor in the bathroom!!), and the shutters and curtains did little to block the light so was awake at 5.30 each morning when the sun came up! The facilities in the room were adequate but not amazing. There was a kettle, cups and glasses, iron etc but no milk for tea and only 2in1 coffee sachets. There was no hairdryer just one of those ancient devices you used to see in bathrooms with a blowy thing on the end of a hose - not much use! We’d paid more for a sea view which was a joke as the window was small so unless you stood and looked out of it you couldn’t see anything anyway. We didn’t book breakfast which we were pleased in hindsight as you could get cheaper options outside. At the end of the day we booked this hotel and should have researched it further, but think we could have got something better for the price had we done so.

We stayed here at the end of our 2 week trip in Croatia for 3 nights. The entrance to the hotel is awkward to find down an alleyway and up steep steps. Inside the hotel is quite dark and dated, the stairs up to the rooms, whilst clean and polished are reminiscent of a hostel, the rooms are numbered with stick on metallic numbers adding to the hostel like look. Our room, although clean had rather dated decor but was comfortable enough. The floors were all wooden and we could hear furniture being scraped across the floor of the room above and an argument clearly through the walls or floor from one of the adjacent rooms. We had a sea view which although was a pleasant outlook, it meant you were on the busy side and although the double glazing was good, did not stop the louder shrieks of people leaving the nearby bars and clubs at around 1-3am. There were shutters on both windows but very light and thin curtains so the room was bright by 5am. The hot water ran out after 1 shower when we had returned from a day on the beach, when I asked, was advised I would have to wait 20 minutes again for it to warm up again. It did, thankfully. We did not have breakfast- there are plenty of places very close by where you can sit with a view and get a good breakfast for less than €17 per person which is the price at the hotel. For the price we paid, I certainly would have expected better.

Fantastic option if you are okay with climbing stairs. This hotel is in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace. Close to everything. Very comfortable rooms with mini fridge and A/C. Very kind and professional staff. I will stay here again when I return.
