We are back in this place for the second time and just as satisfied. Everything is great from location, room, and parking facility and the service from the staff is just outstanding! They tried their best to allow for late check-out even though it was a high season. Served us free coffee while we are waiting in the lobby. Nice and safe surroundings and pet friendly!
I stayed here for 3 nights and was a very good experience. I emailed the hotel before I arrived and they responded very quickly each time (less than 30 minutes) and were very helpful with my queries. The staff on the front were friendly and helpful, particularly Ana. They went out of their way throughout our stay, to give us information and help us with any questions we had. I was able to arrange the tour to Krka waterfalls through the hotel. You can also book a number of other tours at the reception. The breakfast was of good quality. The selection was not a varied as some hotels, nevertheless the food was good and fresh. The hotel room was clean, secure, with a good location in Split. It was walking distance into town. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel too.
We stayed here for two nights while on tour of Croatia. We had a large, high ceilinged room on the second floor overlooking the front road. It provided two beds, a small sitting area, TV on a desk, a large cupboard with safe, and a large bathroom with a good sized shower. Like our other hotels in Croatia, it was very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful. They came to open the safe (a common problem as people leave them locked), and provided maps, directions and recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast service was also very good; lots of bread and pastries, fruit and some veg, cold meats and cheeses, eggs and sausages, lots of condiments and good coffee. And there is a market across the street and a bakery two doors away, which are useful. Two minor issues were i) the elevator will only handle 2-3 people, especially with luggage, and ii) it is a fair walk to Diocletian's palace, and easy to get confused on the return to the hotel until you know the way. That said, I would very much recommend the Globo for staying in Split. …
We stayed at the Hotel Globo for one night before going to Hvar. We had the warmest welcome and this continued with all staff who were so friendly, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to help us and other guests. Including helping people to charge their mobile phones whilst waiting in reception. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would recommend this as a good place to stay.
Stayed there for a couple of times for business, cannot say anything less than great place sto stay, near city centre, friendly and professional staff, especially lady at the reception. Breakfast is nice, served early with plenty and variety of foods.
We arrived around 2130 at night and met Anna, one of the most conscientious and helpful concierge members I've ever had the pleasure to find. She brought us dishes so we could eat the food we had brought with us and offered to get us information about walking tours of Split. She was so patient with us tired Americans. The breakfast was good, as was the dinner we ordered from one of the restaurants that caters to the hotel. The room was nice and quiet and clean.
Came to Split for a business meeting and this was my second stay in Globo. As was the first time staff is so nice and wellcomes you. Also lady on the check in pointed some good Split restaurants to go for a dinner. In this hard pandemic times there was only one more guest in hotel. The result is a little less to choose from the breakfast menu...but hotel is working when many others are closed. Near center of Split, 10min walk. Big parking near. My recomondations for business travel to Split or this part od Dalmatia.
Even though it was only a one-night stay, I can say that the staff was very helpful and the room was spatious (could have provided slippers!). There is a parking in front (not too many places) and the hotel is a short taxi ride to downtown.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Globo and the staff was exceptional---especially Nenad Zecic who made a video tape of my husband getting interviewed on the evening news there. That went above and beyond our expectations. This hotel is lovely and close to everything. We felt very welcome here.
3 nites at tis Hotel. Welcoming was great front office staff provided us with full info how to get to the center Diocletian Palace and ferry and also the places to dine. No complain only quite a distance to walk to center. Very helpful staff and people.
