For anyone looking for a good, sensibly priced hotel in Split we highly recommend Hotel Peristil. The location is so central. Everything is within a few minutes' walk. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the staff bend over backwards to help. They will even arrange a transfer from the airport if required. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the city.

The staff is very kind., and I felt this from the first moment when I was welcome at the reception and during the whole stay there. I forgot my earphones in the room and one of the clerks, Filipa, was very helpful and patient and, in the end, I got the earphones by post, The location is excellent, inside Diocletian's palace, next to all the main attractions in Split. The breakfast was OK. The room is rather small, but comfortable enough.

This jewel of a hotel is located just inside the walls of the Diocletian Palace, right next to the Silver Gate. The location is perfect. We enjoyed a third floor room with an amazing view of the palace, including the Cathedral of Saint Domnius. One night we watched a wedding party that was so much fun! We enjoyed a glass of wine each night on the hotel terrace - a perfect ending to our day. And breakfast on the terrace was good. The hotel staff helped us navigate the COVID testing. When my husband's results did not arrive when expected, the staff contacted the testing service and took care of getting us our results. The staff was friendly and very professional. I would love to return and stay again.

The location is basically right on the Peristil Square so it can't be better. That is about where the good ends. This is maybe my fault that I booked a single room because it was my first time to do that and it was tiny. I could hear everything any of my neighbors did. Walls were very thin. Outside is a lovely patio for breakfast which wasn't too enjoyable as the bacon was raw and the eggs were burned. Salt and pepper shakers and olive oil holder on the table were filthy. Wanted to love it but didn't . Price was good though.

Dear goodgame123, Thank you for your review We are sorry that you had bad experience in our hotel. Thank you for pointing out what you didn't like in our hotel. . We really don't know what happened during your stay because usually we don't have these type of problems. Our guests love our breakfast and our waiting staff cleans daily everything that is on the table. . You booked our single room and it is clearly visible how the room looks and what the size is like on the website - we are located in city centre and hotel is in noisy area. We still hope to see you again and to change your experience. Hotel Peristil

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, modern, and comfortable rooms in a setting that made you feel you were in another century. Good basic but unremarkable breakfast was included. Very accommodating about holding luggage before checkin or after checkout and making the hotel facilities available at those times. Location could not have been better for experiencing Split.

Great location, couldn’t be better placed, for the palace, Perestil Square and the old town. Room was on top floor. Quite a few stairs to climb. Very comfy bed and great view. Very clean. Staff were really helpful and great breakfast. Will stay here again and highly recommended

Hotel Peristil is located within the walls of the Diacletian palace and next to the Silver Gate. It is a 12 room hotel and very handy to the cruise terminal with a ten minute walk. I used the hotel for a single night before boarding a Sail Croatia cruise and the place is very nice. The bed is just right for firmness after a long flight, the AC is cold, the shower refreshing, and bottle of water in the fridge welcoming. The service is impeccable and I recommend the hotel for the ambiance and proximity to the sights.

Aoart from anything else, they do the best breakfast I have eaten in years. The chef is a genius, and he produced a simply perfect omelet - something they don't often get right in Croatia. I can still savour it. Such good value for the money. Unpretentious decor and cool rooms. It is ideally placed in the centre of the city but in a quiet spot just off the east entrance so you don't hear anything at night.
