Located against the palace wall, this is the place to be! A boutique hotel - extremely friendly and helpful and located 20 metres from the main square, make sure you book in advance. No lift so be prepared for lots of steps. Room is smallish with fantastic air conditioning. Good shower. The first pic is the view from our 2nd... More

Great central location, adjacent to the old city walls. Finding a parking spot close to the hotel was not easy but the staff was very helpful. As we only stayed overnight, we didn't find the lack of the elevator inconvenient. The room was small, comfortable and charming, needing a few repairs and renovations here and there. The most important amenities... More

Small hotel with a nice restaurant in old town right by the entrance and actually part of the old castle walls. We were in room 203. The staff was outstanding, courtesy and great customer service were always present. Cost was very reasonable right at $200 US per night, and maybe the best air conditioning I've ever had in an European... More

We stayed in this lovely quaint hotel on our last night in Croatia and it was the perfect ending. We arrived late in the afternoon outside the city walls and went to find someone to help with the parking. Vladimir, the wonderful and friendly owner came with me and drove the car to their parking spot and helped with our... More

Vladimir is very helpful. He is the manager of the place. The staff is very accommodating. Excellent location. It's right inside the palace. The rooms are small but clean. There is a tiny gate right outside of the main door, and that takes you to a parking spot for loading and unloading your bags. This is also where the street... More

Absolutely loved our visit. The location cannot be beat - historically and architecturally stunning. We loved the ambience. The rooms are not large, but very comfortable. The rooms have so much character and we were fortunate enough to visit during the summer festival. We literally went to sleep listening to an outdoor performance of Aida right down the street. The... Located in the old city, this hotel offers an "old town" experience. The dining area is lovely, and breakfast was great, but there is no other public space. There is also no elevator and the rooms are small. On the other hand, everything is very clean, the staff are VERY accommodating, and there is wifi. This hotel is quite close... More

Apart from the lack of a lift, there are no down sides to this hotel. We arrived very late, 12ish. We drove to somewhere near the hotel, and 'phoned the night manager, to let him know that we were in the vicinity. Vlad, the night manager found us within ten minutes, and drove us to the hotel, before taking me... More

Located just inside the Silver Door entrance to the Old city within the Diocletian palace. The rooms are air conditioned, beds are soft and the pillows are good. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, with the required additions. We were on the 3rd floor, which was a worry when we first arrived as there was no lift... More

We spent 4 nights in this charming hotel. The location is perfect in a most beautiful city. Our room was on the top floor - a bit of a climb at the end of the day but well worth it for the view and quiet. Every facility we needed in the room, excellent shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast was... More
