Absolutely loved our visit. The location cannot be beat - historically and architecturally stunning. We loved the ambience. The rooms are not large, but very comfortable. The rooms have so much character and we were fortunate enough to visit during the summer festival. We literally went to sleep listening to an outdoor performance of Aida right down the street. The... Located in the old city, this hotel offers an "old town" experience. The dining area is lovely, and breakfast was great, but there is no other public space. There is also no elevator and the rooms are small. On the other hand, everything is very clean, the staff are VERY accommodating, and there is wifi. This hotel is quite close... More

Apart from the lack of a lift, there are no down sides to this hotel. We arrived very late, 12ish. We drove to somewhere near the hotel, and 'phoned the night manager, to let him know that we were in the vicinity. Vlad, the night manager found us within ten minutes, and drove us to the hotel, before taking me... More

Located just inside the Silver Door entrance to the Old city within the Diocletian palace. The rooms are air conditioned, beds are soft and the pillows are good. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, with the required additions. We were on the 3rd floor, which was a worry when we first arrived as there was no lift... More

We spent 4 nights in this charming hotel. The location is perfect in a most beautiful city. Our room was on the top floor - a bit of a climb at the end of the day but well worth it for the view and quiet. Every facility we needed in the room, excellent shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast was... More

We almost walked past this hotel restaurant, it's so hidden! But we were glad the hostess graciously showed us where we might want to consider eating - right inside the outer wall of Diocletian's place at the East gate. If you're looking for a romantic little corner, surrounded by decorative, outstanding history this is your place. Oh, and the food... More

It's all about the people. Service makes such a difference. From the moment we booked we were made to feel valued and cared for. The rooms aren't huge but we used it just for sleeping. Breakfast (and very often dinner) we had in the courtyard. Lovely! The location has to be the best in Split. It's been built into the... More

The Hotel Peristil was a great place for out family of four. The location was wonderful and Filipa arranged for a wonderful local guide to the city. She also recommended a great day trip to Brac where we rode motor scooters and had an amazing lunch at Moby Dick in Bol. ( Bol has a spectacular beach.) When I left... More

My wife and I were fortunate to call recently into Tiffany Restaurant owned by Hotel Peristil on our trip to Split. We were seated in a lovely table in open air surrounded by the wonderful Roman remains of the Diocletians Palace. The food was beautiful but the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Leo was the friendliest person we have ever... More
