    Great place.
Out of season, but still great. Lovely decorated, spatious rooms, bright and very clean. Very friendly stuff, helpfull and kind. Place is pet friendly.❤😊 Has a free parking place. Great location, 15-20 min to city center by foot, but quite near, one has passage to the Bacvice beach and can walk near the sea almost all the way. Looking forward to visit again.

    A hidden gem in Split
Boban might be called luxury rooms or suites, but to us, it feels more like a luxury hotel. From the beautiful garden and reception to its elegant rooms with huge, comfortable beds, the place feels very high class and peaceful. We intended to stay in the spa suite, but it was having some furniture replaced, so the owners very generously moved us to the penthouse instead (while still being able to use the spa tub in our original room!), and it was just heavenly. The penthouse receives more sunlight than almost any room that I've ever seen, has classy decorations and huge windows, as well as an enormous terrace with a bathtub and an amazing view. Basking and having breakfast there on a bright, sunny day was an unforgettable experience. The only minor negatives that I can think of is that the floor around the jacuzzi in the spa suite has very smooth tiles, so be careful while exiting. Also, the penthouse has two bedrooms but only one bathroom, meaning that those sleeping in the far bedroom must pass through the near bedroom in order to use it. This was not a problem for us who were just one couple, but it would be a problem for separate groups or couples who booked the penthouse. Special thanks go to all the staff at Boban, who were impeccably helpful and nice even in these trying times of the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking of the pandemic, all the regulations issued by the ministry of health were adhered to, and the place felt clean and safe overall. We really appreciated it. 10/10 experience, we will return here for sure.

Good location and friendly, helpful staff. There was lots wrong with my room. The air conditioner didn’t work very well & it was very hot so I struggled to sleep. The ‘rain’ shower head was broken & the seal to the shower door leaked. The metal shutters wouldn’t close. The bedside lamps didn’t work.

Amazing service. Breakfast was very good. Was my birthday, so I was surprised with a bottle of wine & birthday decorations in my room. Dita, the receptionist was amazing & very accommodating. Always greeted with a warm smile by all staff. Recommend this place to everyone

It was nice stay for affordble price in Split. Location is great, 15min walk from city centre and near the beach. Breakfast was delicious, staff was nice and helpful. However this is not a luxury stay, apartment could be more clean or. upadated. Don't expect luxury stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay :)

I know that the last couple of years have been really difficult for the hotel business and many places are struggling to keep their head above water. But if Boban is going to advertise themselves as luxury they really need to up their game and invest money in the hotel. There may have been some elements of luxury at Boban years ago (judging by the old pictures they still use on their website!) but the whole place is beginning to look tired and run down now, There were a couple of good points - the staff were lovely and the breakfast selection was reasonable, but the overall experience was very poor. Some of the main reasons were: - The website still says there is an "excellent restaurant" on site. There is no restaurant - not even a bar. The receptionist gave the impression that there hadn't been a restaurant in the hotel for a long time - The website says there is satellite TV. Our room only had Croatian TV. When I queried this with the receptionist, he said availability of satellite TV depended on what room you were in! - The standard of cleaning in the rooms was not very good. There were also stains on the furniture and some of the ceiling lights were broken, which made the room very dark, particularly at night - There was water damage stains on the walls and the curtains were hanging off the curtain rail which meant they couldn't be closed properly. I'm sure this place was very nice when it first opened, but it looks like it has really gone down hill. If Boban was advertising itself as a budget hotel, then I wouldn't have minded some of the issues. If you're going to advertises yourself as luxury then you need fit that description. Sadly Boban was far from luxury.

We took a girls trip for 10 days in Split, and what we can say from the hotel is that it definitely was the right choice. And the hotel was so close to the beaches and restaurants and about 20minutes from old town which was great. Yes some might say that it needs some renovations , which they are doing, but honestly who cares. The rooms were perfect and the service was the best, we have ever received. From the receptionists, to the cleaners and even the cook - they were all wonderful, kind and so helpful especially the receptionist Antonia. If we could take her with us to Denmark, we absolutely would. She was the most amazing person, we have ever met. She helped us with the transport from airport, attractions and others which made things so easier for us. So this hotel is definitely the hotel to choose in Split.

I am sorry to say but what we saw and got on Boban Luxury Suites was nothing compared to what we expected. We decided to book 2 nights in a penthouse apartment - a decision based on a very detailed and nice website, where Boban praised there hotel as a luxurious and unique experience. The reality we saw was a completely different story. Our so-called “penthouse suite” with a terrace was dirty and with tired, wilted plants. However we found at pizza oven and a garden hose in the corner - for what use… there was not a kitchen in the apartment - I still wonder? The curtains in our rooms were full of holes and started to fall down. Under one of the air conditioners there were spots after moisture. To that the outdoor shutters in one of the bedrooms did’n work. And to that there were 4 tennis courts and a soccer field next to the hotel and our penthouse apartment - guess what noice that made from early morning (7 am). When we arrived there was a noice from the electrical installation - this was after all fixed in the evening - but on my request. Sad that Housekeeping did not take actions on such matters. The facilities as highlighted on the website were not. Were was the free bikes, exclusive restaurant and fitness center ? I must say that Boban Luxury Suites does not live up to the picture they give on their website. In my opinion this is not acceptable - we payed quite a lot for the penthouse appartment - but it was'nt value for money. Bobans branding as a luxurious and unique experience is fake - this is not luxury at all.... but a tired worn out hotel who have had better days. A very misleading website and selfmade branding. This is only a 3 star hotel.

I have very mixed views about Boban. First of all I need to call out the lovely staff, they go above and beyond and are super friendly and helpful. However the hotel is desperately understaffed with some days only one person covering both breakfast service and reception. So this is not luxury..... if I had booked a 3 star self catering on air bnb, i would have thought it was a great deal and place. But based on the hotels website we expected something very different, their website is very misleading. We were in a one bed apartment and while the room itself was spotless and I would guess recently renovated, we were not made aware upon booking our room would be located in a different building to the rest of the "complex". It was only a minute walk down the road, but it was amongst more residential buildings and boban seem to have a few rooms in a block which is also shared with residential apartments. Again, had we booked an aor bnb this would be fine, but this came as a bit of a shock. This building had a small pool with 6 loungers which we seemed tp have to ourselves the whole time. The pool in the main building was very small also with maybe 8 loungers. If you want a resort feel, with poolside snacks and cocktails and nice views then this place is not for you. However if you plan on spending minimal time in the apartment and doing mostly day trips, if you get a good price then it is a handy spot. But it is definitely not a 4 star. Again, the staff really make the place and are amazing, but the lack of amenities really lets it down. Location is good, a 20 minute walk to split old town and theres some supermarkets close by.

Lovely little hotel with decent facilities and excellent breakfasts served up by the brilliant Dita. After the first day I didn’t ask for my coffee - it just appeared when she saw me. And it was good coffee! The staff are probably the best thing about the hotel. In addition to Dita I dealt with Ivan, Antonia and Petar on reception and they were all so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Ivan was also great on beach recommendation. I’ve seen some daft comments about the pool being dirty. Ignore this whining. The pool is smallish but very clean and a lovely addition to the hotel. There are about 8-10 sunbeds. The sunshades need a bit of maintenance but that’s all. Having met the staff I know for sure that if I told them that there were leaves and or insects in the water then it would have been dealt with promptly. Not that this was necessary during our stay. Location wise the hotel is a 10 minute walk to a busy but good sandy beach below the excellent tennis club bar. It took us about 20-25 mins to walk to the old town. We do walk fairly quickly. Turning the opposite way on the seafront there are miles of beaches to walk to - the closet being about 15 mins away past the large boatyard. All in all - a nice stay in a well located, good hotel with great staff.

Lovely room with an exceptionally comfy bed!! Nice location away from the main town gives it a more local feel. 30 minute Walk into town which is hard going during July! Harbour area and beach much nicer than the main beach - far more appealing for couples/families. Take care hiring bikes as there isn’t a continuous cycle path. Restaurants lovely near the harbour. Konica Zenta- shame about the immediate view but friendly staff and food is superb. Pizzeria above with spectacular views serve best pizzas! July/August absolutely boiling so better to come in cooler months. Lovely people too.
