As you will see, all buildings around split are very old with many laws forbidding reconstruction or heavy remodels. So right off the bat, this building is very dated. Saying, that it was still very nice inside and the customer service was similar to a 5-start hotel elsewhere Pros - Kristina! She is amazing. She will always get you an...

We only had to stay here for one night before our Contiki in Split start, but the place was great. We stayed in a private room which was essentially like a hotel room, so really good value for a hostel. Clean rooms, provided towels, WIFI was very strong and the location was very close to the port where we needed...

I spent a night here with my GF in a private room. Location is good; close to everything. Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Mattress was soft and comfy. Plenty of hot water. I definitely recommend.

The only thing wrong with my trip here was that I wish I could have stayed longer, the people are what make a hostel and they were more than accommodating with my questions and requests! If you make it to this amazing city, I really urge you to stay here :).

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They promptly replied to my emails and queries. I was a late arrival and they were very accommodating to my schedule needs. The hostel was close to the train/ferry port making it very conveniently placed.

Hostel Split Backpackers is a very nice hostel. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and speak a really good English. The hostel is clean and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The hostel is close by the train-and busstation and into the city and the beach. It was not my last stay there.

Travelling the Croatian coast mostly walking I reached Split early in the morning and was happily amazed by the friendly people at the reception and the other guests. It is very close to the bay, the old town and to buy groceries. Honestly I just slept a lot but everyone else was having a great time in the dorm as...
