Great location, right by the ferry, boat and old city. Friendly service and the individual double room with ensuite was great, basically a hotel room for a much better price ;) definitely recommend staying here.
Stayed here for 2 nights (1 solo and 1 with a friend) in a 10 mixed dorm late July before Sail Croatia. Location was great, easy to get to and very close to the market/restaurants and bars on the main strip of Split. Be aware it's kind of difficult to spot, taxi dropped me at the bottom of the street at 4 am when I arrived and i was wandering round alone for a while trying to locate it... Nothing that google maps can't help with. Perfect for the few nights before Sail week! Staff were amazingly friendly and always up for a laugh while giving a helping hand and recommending local places to eat, party and sight see. Bed were clean with a privacy curtain had great people in my dorm who I'm still in contact with now - nice atmosphere for making friends. Balcony off the dorm was a nice added extra with a view of the street and also the coast line in the distance - two of us managed to lay our towels out there for a little bit of sunbaking mid-afternoon when it was too hot to be walking around, was a squeeze but very funny positioning ourselves to match the sun. There were a few late nights (mainly caused by us, oop) but you could get up early and get dressed without disturbing people too much so it wasn't a problem. Noise is too be expected when staying in a backpackers hostel!!! Only downside is that there was only 1 toilet for girls (there was about 12-16 girls staying at one time) so traffic was an issue but not too bad. Everyone gets close very quickly so it's not awkward. Overall great stay, would definitely recommend.…
I went there whilst touring eastern europe with a travel company. Two of my fellow travellers had to sleep on a mattress on the floor because they crammed 10 people into an 8 person room (even though they weren’t fully booked). Ridiculous. The staff was extremely rude to us and our tour leader and very inconsiderate of the sleeping conundrum. Everyone felt horrible for being yelled at and unwelcome by the staff. Besides that the two bathrooms are very untidy and the showers often freezing. Getting into the hostel after 9pm is way too hard as we were not provided with enough keys (two keys for 14 people). We were often locked outside the door for ages. The walls are extremely thin so knocking on the door most likely woke up some of the visitors. I do not recommend this hostel at all. In fact I give it 0 stars. Horrible service. Rude and unprofessional staff. A bunch of drama queens. Do not go there if you want to get your money’s worth. …
We were sent here Vinko on Brac. Loved our stay here. Very clean and beautiful hostel. Staff was amazing. Clean beds and fantastic atmosphere at all times. They were ready to help with transfers and fun excursions.
Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to change my flight and was not able to stay on in Split as planned. The staff were very understanding and helpful when trying to cancel booking. Thank you so much for your help and I hope I get back soon to stay with you
If you stay in the private room , don’t expect to actually sleep: it’s located less than a metre opposite the reception desk. When I stayed , there were youngsters in the common area also near the room until about 1am - I may as well have pitched up a tent in a crowded bar and tried to sleep . The sheets were very coarse: think the total opposite Egyptian silk cotton. Otherwise it was clean and had aircon and it’s in an excellent location in the centre of Split.
This is a very basic hostel which did its job. Rooms come with a storage locker which is one of the main things for me. Bottom bunks have a curtain for privacy. The hostel in conveniently located near the bus station and the main area.
The hostel is conveniently located in walking distance to the bus station and the city center. The building in which the hostel is, is not very good. The showers and toilets were clean. The room layout was fine. Beds were not comfortable. Especially getting on to the top bunk was a bit difficult. The bunks were so close to each other that any movement on one bunk caused 3 others to move. I was bit badly by some insects at night and had marks on my back and arms. Thankfully I had to stay there only for a night.
What I liked: 눇* Amazing location * Very good wifi * There are lockers in the room * There is a kitchen and a commom area * Nice bed, with light, power plug and curtain * The bathroom was clean (but i only stayed there for one night) * Big room A very small and simple hostel. What I didn´t like: * Few bathrooms
Stayed here for 2 nights in a large, private room. Room was spacious and clean aside from the shower floor not being as clean as it could be. Staff were lovely and extremely friendly and helpful. Extremely central and yet quiet! Unfortunately the staff are not there all night and so I was awoken twice by young adults forgetting their keys and needing access - this potentially needs to be a courtesy conversation given to people staying in the dorms to avoid waking the entire building.
