We had no idea this was going to be such a great hotel, staff and location, or we would have planned to stay longer. Stroll around old town for some great dining experiences, laugh with Andria (the luggage juggling host with comedic talent), enjoy a nightcap on the house and then wake to the best breakfast you can imagine. We will be staying here over and over again. You are doing a great job, team! -Liz, Trish, Kenya and Leslie

We stayed two nights in August and loved it. The hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian area so coordinate with the hotel ahead of time for parking and they'll meet you with a golf cart and take you to the property. Our room was beautiful with the ancient stone of the exterior walls, modern comforts and overlooked one of the main squares in the Diocletion's Palace area. Everything in the room worked, other than our own inability to keep water inside European showers. Despite facing a very busy square with lots of foot traffic and outside dining the blackout shades and double paned windows make the room silent and dark for some really good sleep. The staff were even better than the rooms. Andre (sp) and everyone who worked there were super fun and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations, laundry, breakfast (cooked to order since COVID ended their buffet) and transport to and from the parking spots. We've done a lot of nights in hotels all over the world and this was one of our favorite stays. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Split!

Location - smack in the middle of the old city , at one corner of a charming square . Please keep in mind that no cars can drop guests off at the hotel entrance since the hotel is in pedestrian zone . Ambience - amazing , charming , going back in time.... I loved the feel of old world elegance in the hotel rooms - I felt like I was staying at a palace in Venice .... Rooms are very clean , spacious and the WiFi worked well. The staff - AMAZING . I have stayed at many hotels around the world , and I think the crew at Judita is the most welcoming hotel staff I have ever dealt with . Prior to arrival , Margarita was super helpful in giving me restaurant info and helping me secure restaurant reservations. Once we arrived , she was ALWAYS helpful in giving us whatever info we need . Andres was super friendly and welcoming - his lively demeanor definitely added to our enjoyment. Brawny (? Spelling ) at the bar was so nice and friendly ; it was always so much fun to have a drink at the courtyard bar at the hotel . And Marin was so helpful and nice as well. My friend checked into the hotel 3 hours before me and gave me detailed instructions on how to walk from the bus stop in town to the hotel (I took the airport bus into town ). But when Marin found out that I was going to walk to the hotel from the bus stop , he insisted on coming to the bus stop to help me with my luggage and give me a ride to the nearest point where cars can drop off passengers in the pedestrian zone. At our departure , when margarita learned that we were going to Uber to a car rental agency in town , she had one of the hotel staff walk with us and take all our luggage to the nearest point where we could order Uber (5 min walk). I have never felt so welcomed by an entire hotel crew before . I suppose that is one of the advantages of staying at a smaller hotel..... my friend and I were made to feel like we were part of the Judita family , and they genuinely cared about our well being during our stay there . I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay inside the old city while visiting Split . To get to the hotel from airport , cheapest way is to take airport shuttle bus to bus station by the port ( cash only , and the shuttle bus driver I had preferred smaller bank notes . He couldn’t give me change for 200 HRK banknote, but he gladly accepted the 5 euro note I gave him). Feel free to call hotel once you are at bus station - someone from hotel will meet arriving guests there

Absolutely 5 bubbles from me, if I could put 6 I would!! I booked relatively last minute so truth be told I didn’t know what I was signing up for, but this hotel is genuinely special. Incredible 16th Century building, sitting in the people’s square, a stones throw from the Diocletian Palace - couldn’t be better located. Room was immaculate, breakfast great, but as other reviews have said the real highlight are the staff. I doubt you’ll ever encounter better, friendlier, more helpful and all round more congenial staff than at this hotel. Andreas was an absolute star, going over and beyond. E.g. booking us a table at an already fully booked restaurant. The waiter later told us that he only took the booking “because I love that guy“. Apparently Andreas was voted Croatia’s tourist person of the year or something a couple of years ago and I’m really not surprised.

Wonderful location in the centre of Split. Hotel is more than acceptable but enhanced by its wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Organised a few trips, booked restaurants and even recommended bank with lowest charges. I have nothing but total respect for their hard work. Stupidly good value for money.
