Misleading presentation of the photos of the Deluxe rooms: if you take a Deluxe room, you will in fact have a Superior room with an additional sofa or armchair. When we ask the management of the hotel, they indicate that they cannot publish the photos of all the rooms, except that they have chosen to publish probably the most beautiful room, but in reality there is little chance that it will be available Bad value for money.
We stayed at the hotel for two days before our island hopping and it was SO clean and it is the friendliest service we’ve received at a hotel. We’ve travelled to many hotels but the front reception staff was lovely! The rooms were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and the room was clean. Now the breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve had for any “breakfast included “ hotel. I’m glad we did because I couldn’t imagine scurrying in the morning for food. We stayed with our Swedish friends and they were happy as well. Rooftop was great, pool was a bit smaller than I had imagined but still very clean. I mean we came for the beauty of split and the sea rather than the pool Would definitely recommend staying here Thank you so much to the ladies at the front -Barbara NISIC
Rooms tiny, view awful (if you don’t get water view, the alternative is a dirt lot with a view of concrete building from communist era). Rooftop pool great idea in name only — not enough chairs/lounges to accommodate guests. When I expressed my displeasure about room, was offered a compo for Prosecco at bar, bartender told me it couldn’t be a beer, had to be Prosecco?! Single bed apparently means barely wide enough for one person to BARELY fit on, with s as hard mattress to suit. It’s close to town, but be careful not to take a taxi because they’ll charge you double, use Uber instead. The good news— the Wi-Fi is fast and front desk is super friendly (which doesn’t make up for the other faults).
We stayed here for 4 nights. We had a hire car and there is ample, secure parking underneath the hotel. Room was large, very clean, great en-suite and balcony with sea view. Lovely rooftop pool bar (was closed for a private function on one day of our stay). Buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely spa area. Walking distance of Diocletian's Palace. Would definitely stay here again if in Split. Staff were helpful.
Stayed for 7 days. There is nothing negative I can say about the hotel. We had a Deluxe double overlooking to sea, and harbour. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The maid service was very good. The pool area on the roof is lovely, with views overlooking the sea there are lots of pool towels. We never saw people reserving sunbeds. The bar serves drinks and snacks. We stayed half board. Great breakfast selection and access to full dinner menu. The hotel staff are all very friendly and professional, and noting is to much trouble. Great stayed
We came for the ultra festival for a week. Four of us, two couples. Fantastic hotel with ultra friendly staff. Highlight was the off menu bespoke breakfasts. Clean and modern rooms. Great sun terrace and bar. Great food. Would highly recommend
We had a superior room with balcony, which looked out over the sea. It was very relaxing just to watch the boats. The room was a good size and had everything that we needed. We arrived just after midday and our room was ready. All the staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast had a good range of options and the bar offered a good range of drinks and was fairly priced when compared with other bars. We did make use of the indoor pool and spa, which was great for what we wanted and again all the staff were great. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from the Old Town, with some restaurants and bars nearby and a short walk from a couple of beaches
This was our second stay at Marvie hotel, excellent rooms and facillities, very good breakfast. The place is immaculate and would definitley stay on our next trip, nice location as only 10 mins from Split centre and just out of the hustle and bustle of the centre.
Lovely place to relax and stay while exploring the city of Split. Room was clean and comfy, great breakfast and pretty good restaurand for dinner as well. The spa and rooftop pool were great and luckily not too crowded at all. The staff was always extremely friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to come back some day!
Lovely modern Hotel visited in June for 11 nights. We arrived around midday and our room wasn’t ready they stored our luggage and we went up to the rooftop pool and bar. This is a little small as per previous reviews, after a few minutes we we able to get a chair and drinks. Reception had taken my mobile number to let us know when our room was available but after a while we decided to explore the hotel and when we passed through reception we were told room ready. Our room was great clean and tidy with a good sized balcony with superb views over the sea and Marina just down the road. Every member of staff without exception was helpful and great. Irene on reception 5 stars Breakfast was good and after the usual familiarising with how it all works found it excellent. My wife likes poached eggs just ask a member of staff and they were cooked perfectly runny yoke but not under cooked. There are tables inside and outside hot outside air con in. Evening meals? Very good the menu has Chefs choices at a set price for 3 courses, meat, fish and vegetarian I tried meat and fish excellent value and no problem switching one choice off the main Menu. They was a problem one evening with our steaks being over cooked, ordered medium but came well done. What’s good is they sorted it and credited my wine as a gesture. We ate 4 times in the hotel and service and food was very good. Jasmina was lovely nothing was a problem . We also used the Spa good pool Sauna and steam room. I had a medical massage as I had pulled a muscle or two in my back, the masseuse was a physiotherapist and really good. Location ? We walked many times into Split from the hotel takes about 15-20 mins mainly flat to the start of the harbour 20-25 into the old town Taxis ? I felt a bit expensive for the distance and one managed to ‘massage’ the meter up 3-4 pounds !! On the previous ones. Typical of a young driver ( and he was) Stuff you guys Über is cheaper and your downfall! Would we go back? Yes if wanted to go to Split again there’s so much to see in Croatia but the Marvie is marvellous…
