Detailed Reviews
This is our second time with Josip and again, what a great experience! The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of space for a family. There was a balcony with a clothes rack. There were towels and a washing machine in the bathroom and the water pressure was great. It was an easy walk to the Riva promenade, and there is a Konsum supermarket and bakery just a few steps away. There is a nice green park just around the corner too. We had great tips to local places and other travel tips from the manager. Highly recommended for families, in a good residential street that is not noisy.

Really pleased with our choice of Peric Apts. Got shuttle bus from airport to town then 15 min walk to apartment (fom bus station rather than 40 euro taxi for 2km journey. Met by Josip who is a real star, so friendly ( the cold beer was much appreciated and as it was a public holiday he gave us a carton of milk !). Also v informative re best swimming areas , view point of the town etc. Apt v nice and had all we needed for the price. Town an easy 10 min walk away. I would say Split in August is v hot and vv busy but if you like that ... We would def come back (end of Sept next time).

We were here for almost 2 months, this was our first time in Split, and thanks for Josip to support us in terms of all questions which we had (car service, sightseeing, etc). Apartment is located in the great, not loud place, easy to find a free parking near.
Apartment has all the necessary thing to feel comfortable and just like at home.
We will definitely visit Josip and make a reservation again in the future.

We stayed for just one night there and we are very satisfied with our apartment. The owner, Josip, was very friendly, very helpful, he recommended us a few places for dinner and drinks and they all were an excellent choice! The apartment is very nice, clean and cozy, it has everything that you need for a perferct vacation, very well-equipped place. It is very close to the old town, five minutes by walk and yet the neighbourhood itself is quiet. We are planning to go back to Croatia next spring and this place would deffinetely be our stop in Split! Hope to see Josip again soon!

We arrived for 2 nights in Split and decided on an apartment instead of a hotel, saw good reviews so thought why not! When we arrived we were a bit concerned as it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere...how wrong we were!
Met Josip the owner, lovely fellow and offered us a glass of grapa which really woke me up! He gave us the rundown and was helpful in explaining to us where to go etc!
We were not even 10 minutes away from the Old Town, a nice stroll and we were on the harbour! We thought we would be a little out the way but we were wrong!
The apartment was clean, tidy and just had about everything with it. Bed was comfy and it felt like our very own apartment.
We booked through booking.com but if you book through Trip Advisor it's 10% off, Josip was kind enough to deduct 10% on our second night and we paid by cash!
Recommend to anyone who is looking for peace, quiet and a simple setup. Has everything you need and the location is awesome!

My husband and I, along with another couple enjoyed the Split Apartments. As other reviewers have commented on the comfortable, clean, well situated apartments, I would like to say that our hosts Josip and Adrianna were extremely kind to us.
My husband had a medical emergency which made it necessary for us to visit a hospital and a doctor. Josip drove us to the hospital and acted as interpreter, which took several hours. As the problem had not been resolved, Adrianna took us to her family doctor the next day, as well as the pharmacy. They also made arrangements so we able to rest for a few days longer in our original apartment while our friends went on ahead.
We are so grateful for their help!

I have to correct the previous reviews seen in this website. Either we found the wrong hotel, or the place had deterioated rapidly. We booked this hotel after reading good reviews, the latter need a drastic correction.
This apartment is in the annex of a local university, and befittingly so, as the decor, furniture, utensils reminded me of the student apartments of my university days. There are 3 apartments on different levels in this 5 storey house, with a flight of stairs serving two units per floor. We were given the 5th floor apartment, with 2 small rooms and a fair size living room. The sofa was old and tired, and similarly the throw-on blanket that covered the sofa. The electric kettle had about 5 years of scale in it. The towels we were given, and in fact, every single one in the entire linen closet were so hard and abrasive I would not use it to dry my old car.The shower stall doors had degenerated from sliding to swinging, and the grime and mildew probably were what held it together. One of the bedrooms had a low slanting ceiling, being the attic of the building, and a hazzard each morning on rising. In fact, the whole apartment had a ceiling height of about 6.5 feet. The mattresses were awful, and so were the pillows.
The best feature of this 5th floor apartment was the exercise one gets each day countering gravity... exactly 86 steps from the pavement to the 5th floor. Also there was a upright piano with the suite, though I didn't try it out. The walking distance to the old town was as reported at 6 to 7 minutes, and there was a small Konsum grocery store within 150 feet (and 86 x 2 stair steps).

Response from Adriana J, Owner at Split Apartments - Peric Hotel
Responded Oct 8, 2012
Dear Guest, First of all I would like to thank you for your review. Allow me to say that we continuesly strive to improve our services as well as the general feel of the apartments. We are very sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your stay with us and moreover that you have not shared this with us whilst in Split. If we have understood that the attic was not of your preference, we could have changed you to a different apartment on a lower floor to meet your expectations best. Overall, we are always here and ready to assist our guests as well as with other suggestions and recommendations in case that the apartment is not of their expectations. Once again thank you for the comments that will be taken into consideration. Kind regards, Josip Peric

My friend and I arrived Split at 3:30 in the morning as we took the overnight bus from Mostar. I had emailed ahead and asked if someone would be able to pick us up as it would be so late in the night (we are two girls). Sure enough, Josip the owner was waiting for us at the bus station. He helped us with our bags and brought them up for us. He also offered us something to drink. The apartments are very cute, clean, well-located and well-furnished with little touches that make you feel as if this were your own home. For example, I did laundry in the laundry machine, and there was plenty of detergent under the sink. I also made coffee and tea in our nicely equipped kitchen, and there are plenty of flavors to choose from in the pantry. The best part of our stay was definitely Josip and his kindness. He is amazing, and he loves talking to people. He speaks several languages too, so make sure you stop upstairs to his apartment and have a coffee and a chat.

Located 5 minutes walk from most attractions, this is a very convenient property. Josip, the host is wonderful and a delight to interact. The exterior is deceptive and it was a pain to lug our bags two flights but the apartment is clean, functional. Josip carry our bags to the room. Once we settled down, we realized how well located this place was. Car parking is available free of cost on the street outside. Strongly recommended.

As others have commented the apartment is a 10 minute walk from the action (old own) and is in a safe residential area opposite a convent. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean and excellent value for the money. It has fast and free WiFi and is a two minute walk to nearby supermarket which is so cheap for groceries. This is a family run apartment business and Josip the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We arranged transfers from and to the airport with Josip which made life so much easier.

Hey,
we came by bus and walked to the apartment, but there was a parking place some meters away.
This probably won’t help you anymore but maybe somebody else :)
It’s a couple of flights of stairs. You’d need to ask the owner to help with luggage. I recall walk to town centre is about a km.
Yes Mr Peric lives in the same building with his family. One floor more and I think when you arrive he will be waiting for you.
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please indicate when in July you need the apartment?
The apartments are on the 2 nd and 4th floor.
Kind regards,
Adriana
