If you are a fan of the Mediterranean and looking for accommodation that will provide you with traditional Mediterranean environment, hostel Dvor is the perfect choice. Its appearance is reminiscent of ancient stone houses of Split’s Old Town. In the traditional vernacular architecture, “Dvor” (inner courtyard) was surrounded by high stone walls, and in our hostel it has been repurposed into the external living room leading directly into the rooms on the ground floor. We are committed to providing only the highest level of service to our guests, which is confirmed by the ongoing work to improve our offer, and keeping up with current trends in the market.

This is the without a doubt the best hostel I have ever stayed in.
The rooms and facilities were spotless. Toliteries and towels provided in the room along with a huge locker and lock for all your personal belongings. An additional drawer under your bed with charging points and personal lights in each bed.
The lobby is very clean.
The location is perfect.....2minuye walk from centre but located just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.
Airport transfer is a good rate and went smoothly. Staff very helpful

This was my 1st hostel experience and I could not have asked for a cleaner or calmer hostel. The hostel asks guests to be quiet between 11pm- 7am and the beds are so comfy I slept really well. The free breakfast is decent. The hostel is about a 10 minute walk to central Split. The hostel isn't super social so don't go expecting to make lots of friends.

Loved this hostel. It was clean, safe, welcoming, and the facilities were very nice. My room had air conditioning, the lockers were spacious, the bathrooms were always clean and I never had a problem with bathroom or shower access. Good light throughout - the common space is quite nice in the mornings. It wasn't the most social hostel (though I'm sure that changes) but it's great if you want somewhere clean and nice to stay with friendly travelers.

We had a great experience on our stay with a group of 36 people. Never have I been in such a modern, neat and clean hostel before. Also the breakfast was better than I have previous experienced with included breakfasts. The staff is helpful with finding good experiences like wine tasting or booking a transfer. Would recommend!

Best hostel I've stayed in! Dorm was very clean and had A/C. Breakfast being included was a great surprise when I arrived. Lovely staff and you could leave luggage at reception. A big locker and an under bed drawer available too. Would 100% stay again!

Stayed in Room D2 for 4 nights.
I was very late arriving at the hotel thanks to my train arriving 40 minutes late. I had kept in touch with the reception and kindly stayed until I arrived at 10.50 pm.
The room is one of the cleanest, artful, well designed and equipped I've ever used. There are two bunks stayed against one wall, solidly built with a privacy light, shelf for personal items and an electric point. Each person also has a drawer under the bed and a tall cabinet to store clothing. The room even has two chairs, a table and a TV. Never seen a TV in a dorm room before. The bathroom had a walk in shower, toilet, basin and a hairdryer.
Breakfast was provided. Options were cereal, fruits, tea and coffee. There's standard brewed coffee, but they also have an espresso machine that uses capsules. That machine made a decent espresso. The kitchen also has a microwave and two fridges which you can use to store stuff. The kitchen is also the common area with a long lounge settee and a TV. You can even have your food outside too as there's seating there as well.
Location wise, the hotel is about 10 minutes downhill walk to the historic centre and 20 to the trains or bus station. The staff are fantastic. They're friendly and helpful.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Hostel Dvor or stay again. The staff, the rooms and the facilities are excellent.

I've been travelling for 50 days and Hostel Dvor was my best accommodation yet - and that includes the hotel room with the sauna in Estonia.
Fabulous location, excellent staff and washrooms, decent breakfast included.
Clean, quiet, great price.
I'll be back my next time in Split.

Excellent hostel within short walking distance to the Old Town. Rooms are modern and clean with large lockers. Keys are provided to the lockers, so no need to bring your own lock. The dorm I stayed in had a separate toilet and a shower room with power shower. Rooms can only be opened with a key card, so safety is not an issue. There was a good wifi reception in the room and in the communal areas. There is a free breakfast available in the morning, but choices are limited. Still nice though!

Nice and helpful receptionists. The room is clean, as well as the towels. The bed quite comfy (not so sure about the pillow), the common area too. There is a computer for everyone to use. The stay includes a simple breakfast (fruit, coffee, tea, bread with butter and jam). Lovely!!

I had booked here with some friends for 2 nights, we ended up staying 3 and cancelling our hostel in Zadar. It was very clean, close to the attractions and had good service. Beware the hostel is located in more of a walking street zone. I recommend the parking on Plinarska if you have a car then it's an easy walk. I stayed in 5 hostels on my trip and this one was then nicest and it was average priced.

Sorry but no. We can show you where to take your laundry
by shuttle bus (30kn = 4€), then walking from main bus station through city center (around 15-20 min)
You get breakfast! Doesn't matter what room you sleep in!
