This was my 1st hostel experience and I could not have asked for a cleaner or calmer hostel. The hostel asks guests to be quiet between 11pm- 7am and the beds are so comfy I slept really well. The free breakfast is decent. The hostel is about a 10 minute walk to central Split. The hostel isn't super social so don't go expecting to make lots of friends.
We had a great experience on our stay with a group of 36 people. Never have I been in such a modern, neat and clean hostel before. Also the breakfast was better than I have previous experienced with included breakfasts. The staff is helpful with finding good experiences like wine tasting or booking a transfer. Would recommend!
This is the without a doubt the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities were spotless. Toliteries and towels provided in the room along with a huge locker and lock for all your personal belongings. An additional drawer under your bed with charging points and personal lights in each bed. The lobby is very clean. The location is perfect.....2minuye walk from centre but located just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Airport transfer is a good rate and went smoothly. Staff very helpful
One of my favorite hostels ever! Exceptionally clean, quiet, comfortable, AC, phenomenal shower, large locking wardrobes with space to hang clothes, simple breakfast, pleasant communal areas, friendly staff, great location. The only downside was sharing one toilet/shower with up to seven others, though this seems to be the norm for hostels on the Dalmatian coast and wasn’t a problem when I was there (October). Really enjoyed my visit to Split and would absolutely stay at the Hostel Dvor next time!
I struggled a little to locate the hostel even with a tourist map. The small lanes are confusing at first. Sanja and Filip are the perfect hosts. My room was ready earlier than expected. Sanja even gave me some suncream as I had forgotten mine. The hostel is clean and in excellent condition. Comfy bed and a shower that will match any hotel for unlimited hot water at a good pressure. The free breakfast and coffee was an added bonus. The old town and marina is just a short walk away. I am sure I will be be back for another visit. :-)
Although I found it a little hard to locate on my arrival due to not taking the address ! This is an oasis of calm with immaculate rooms, modern fittings and the whole building is maintained to a high standard. The service was more of a small hotel with staff on duty happy to help with recommendations and advice. As a sole traveller I shared a female dorm with private bath and it was excellent. Location is great. Terrace outside is perfect for breakfast and a chat with fellow travellers later (keep the noise down though!) Enjoyed thoroughly and would return.
We spent just one night after our sailing trip in this hostel in Split. It´s good located, 5 minutes away from the old city centre. The rooms are not too big, but you find all you need for a night. The check in was a bit slow but friendly. The price-performance is good at all!
This is another fairly new hostel, 10 minutes walking distance to the Old Town. The beds are sturdy, rooms are spacious and great shower room. Not forgetting the big lockers and air conditioning. The place is clean and they strictly enforced the no-noise rule as the hostel is tucked in local neighborhood. If you are not looking for party hostel then this might the place for you. The only downside, typical with rests of Old Towns across Europe is parking.
I stayed here for one night and was highly satisfied with the service I received. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very updated and clean as well. I cannot fault anything with the stay as everything exceeded my expectations.
A very modern, clean, well designed place a little outside the inner city of Split. Stuff is very helpful and friendly - breakfast is just so good and you can reach everything by foot. What else could you need? Oh yes, quiet, clean rooms potentially with balconies! We loved it there and coming back to Split would mean coming back to Dvor!
