We stayed here for four nights and thought it was a lovely hotel. The staff were all polite and friendly, with good English spoken. We did have a small confusion when we checked-in over the cost of our rooms and the type of rooms we had ordered, but the young lady who checked us in was very apologetic and wouldn’t take any payment until her manager was back and could help, but she still let us go to our rooms first and settle in. The hotel has been finished to a very high standard, although the views from the lower floors would be far from spectacular. We were on the fourth floor and could just see the sea and a few rooftops. Of course, if you want to spend time in your room, you’d be best off booking the penthouse, which looks great! We didn’t spend much time in our room, but when we did I was comfortable. One morning I could hear the person next-door showering and occasionally the pigeons would make a noise walking outside our window, but apart from that we weren’t disturbed by other guests or corridor noise. It was a shame that the bottled water was only in the rooms on the first day, especially as the advice I had read was that you shouldn’t drink the tap water in Ukraine. Maybe that isn’t the case in Odessa, but I wasn’t willing to take the risk. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, although it did look good, but we did take advantage of the free shuttle to Arcadia beach and on both mornings we used it was a private taxi. Very good. You have to get back from the beach by yourself, but there are plenty of Ubers available at a cost of around 300UAH (when leaving the beach around peak time of 6.30pm). Odessa is a lovely city, with lots to see and do. The Uno is well located, not far from the Opera House and if you are visiting the city for culture (rather than to spend time at the beach), then it is a very good hotel to chose. We would be very happy to return.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located in Odessa. It is very close to the Opera Building, a 4 minute walk. Close to the market, membrane for entertainment, close to the beach, and all within walking distance. clean rooms. The service is excellent. The staff at reception are very professional and kind, always ready to help with anything. At the same time, when we asked for check-in (and extended check-out) at two-three, we were called to peace for a large amount that makes no sense and is unlikely. This is a service that the hotel should give its customers even free if the rooms are available. Or charge only a nominal amount. In summary, we had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. We loved it and we highly recommend it.

Dear Mr. Nawaf, thank you for stay with us and posting the review. We are enthusiastic to understand that the overall impression about our hotel with our staff attitude was very good. We always make free early check-in an late check-out in low season and even in high season when we have free rooms. But if we need to make an upgrade to other guests, we cannot make free late departure, unfortunalely. Hope to see you in UNO design hotel again.

To start with the great things: Location- amazing building, a historical site, even a place where Babel - a famous writer used to live. Around it there are great restaurants, a very interesting market with street food, supermarket (who needs), Western Union (to change currencies). The room we had was very good, quite spacious and very clean (important!). Shower was good, plenty of towels, bathrobes, hairdryer, etc etc. BUT. The A/C! The Air Conditioner was hardly working, unfortunately for us. We were a little bit unlucky to stay over the very. very.hot.weather. Therefore, it seems plausible to assume that most of the people were switching it on simultaneously and as a result it was hardly working. I understand the hardships but it obviously can get upsetting, when you are a guest in the hotel and you just want to have your room chilled after a very hot weather outside. Another issue was the absence of WIFI on our 2 last days of stay: since there was a rain something stopped working and we were cut from the internet. Resulted into going downstairs and hanging out in the lobby/ stairs outside the room in order to do the check in, check flights updates, etc. With all said above, still all together the place is very pleasant, people/ staff are very friendly, breakfasts are VERY GOOD. Make sure to try the semolina and pancakes- fresh every day! Thank you, please keep up the amazing work! Regards, Alexandra and David.

Nice hotel with great location in the center, clean and modern rooms. Breakfast is nice. We found it a problem that in the evening/night the front door is not open for everybody so the staff sees and knows who comes to visit you.

Dear Ilanlei, we sure that it shouldn't be a problem that in the evening/night the front door is not open for everybody. That was made for safety of our guests. Also, we want to notice that we do not tell anyone about the visitors of our customers.

It had been 30 years since our last visit and I wasn’t expecting much from the city or the hotel. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. The Uno Design hotel is modern, clean, comfortable with fantastic staff, especially the 2 young ladies working the desk. They were full of information on where to eat, where to go, arranged for a taxi, helpful and pleasant. We had room 410 which is a standard room, the room was large enough, very clean, nice shower with shampoo and bath gel. There was a bottle of water, and a mini bar which we didn’t use. There was a hair dryer, safe, robes and slippers. WiFi is free and fast. We didn’t use it but there was a shuttle to the beach on the weekends. We were able to walk to the theater ($4 tickets to the opera!), Potemkin stairs, Deribasivka Street. The train station was 20 minutes on foot. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We found a good Georgian place and a couple of cafeteria style Ukrainian restaurants
