Oh, my. This hotel is gorgeous and our room was amazing (Room 9). Bed was oh so comfortable and luxurious. Bathroom was huge, with both a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. We also had a small private garden. The grounds are so lovely. Everything about this place was delightful--wish we could have stayed longer!!

Meson Panza Verde is simply one of the loveliest and best run hotels in Antigua. I say this even though my experience here was not without a few issues or woes. When I arrived my room was downstairs next to the dining area and I stated I preferred an upper more quiet room. I was offered a huge almost palace...

Meson Panza Verde far exceeded our expectations. The building and grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly, helpful and efficient and the food the best we found in Antigua, a city of many good restaurants. The rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sun rise over the volcanos or have happy hour and watch the stars and moon rise into...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property and rooms have warmth and character. Will definitely return. Location to other restaurants and central square is very good. Breakfast is simple and served by lovely lady with a smile.

We did not stay here. We only went for Saturday night dinner. The surroundings are amazing and the food delicious. A couple of the tables had rose petals surrounding them, definitely a special occasion kind of place. Food is relatively expensive but worth it. If you want to listen to their music be sure to ask for a table there.as...

We stayed at this hotel in January 2016. It was a family trip with my mom. The hotel is designed in colonial style with a beautiful central courtyard lush with local plants and shrubs. We stayed in the Junior suite Room 4. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, ours was on the main level There was a living...

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The pictures don't give it justice. The ambiance of the whole place feels mystical and enchanted. Everything from the tiny lounge, to the beautiful rooftop, dining by the pool, or the rooms tastefully decorated with antiques. The architecture is stunning and it is a nice escape from North American culture.

We stayed for 3 nights here and it is gorgeous, the food is amazing and reasonably priced and the staff are extremely accommodating. I can say I believe this is the best hotel in Antigua. We didn't want to continue our trip so we could stay here!

Per a friend's recommendation I stopped in for lunch. They had a great lunch option that was 4 courses of deliciousness for a very reasonable price (<$15USD). I got a plate of spreads with fresh bread, soup, my main course of tuna and handmade ice cream for dessert. Such a beautiful place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Antigua.
