The room is great with thick walls (over 3 feet), nice free wifi, Cable TV, and a cozy bath tube. The restaurant has a superb desayunio (brunch), many fruits, cheeses, omelets, sausage, many different types of bread, as well as fried rice, tortillas and black beans. The area is huge, one can spend over 7000 steps walking around to get... More

Located at the entrance of Antigua Guatemala, staying at Casa Santo Domingo is an experience far from normal. The beautiful building, which used to be a Dominican Convent, dates from the earlier years of the XVI century and transports you to the colonial religious culture of the age, surrounded by a quiet atmosphere. Apart from that, there is a museum... More

We celebrated a major anniversary at the Casa Santo Domingo and had an incredible time. Service was excellent, the grounds stunning, our rooms a study in colonial charm, and we enjoyed the museums scattered around the property. It was an unforgettable experience.

This hotel is simply gorgeous. I absolutely loved all the museums on site and the feel and ambience of the hotel. Lighting all the walkways with candles at night was just gorgeous. I had a standard deluxe room and it was very nice. The room did not have air conditioning nor was there one with air-conditioning that could've been booked... More

I have been at many places in the world but this one is very special. Very luxury, warm, professional and historic at the same time. Walking distance to city center, churches etc. Great and luxury Spa. Great treatments there. Perfect place for weddings, romantic dinner or just spend one night there and explore Antigua.

Antigua is Remarketly in tact as a beautiful and still very real Spanish town in Guatemala. Nice local and more international restaurants, lots of old churches and the gorgeous hotel Santo Domingo make it a special place to visit. All cobblestone streets, very kind people and save. I was hoping for more high end art galleries, but found none. Unique... More

I stayed in the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo for four days during a conference this month. The hotel is a monastery, complete with stone structures, relics from its former incarnation, and an overall special atmosphere. The staff are amazing and attentive in the hotel and the food, especially the breakfast buffet, was quite impressive. This is the hotel to stay... More

The hotel is built on ancient ruins and is quite spread out. Room was large with a nice terrace and great views. Service was very good. Fast and clean. Nice breakfast buffet. There is a nice pool and a small gym. Fresh fruit was placed in my room daily.
