This beautiful historic hotel is tucked away from the busyness of Central Antigua. Yet close enough to walk into town or grab a short taxi ride. Hotel is a perfect combination of preserving the old and providing all the comforts of new and modern. Quiet tranquil setting with a very helpful accommodating staff. A great start to our 2 week...

We ended our trip in Guatemala with a 1-night stay in Hotel Cirilo and it was the best decision ever! The staff (thank you Oscar) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was the end of our honeymoon, so the staff prepared our room with rose petals and other small attentions. They lit the fireplace in our...

We stayed with my husband and two daughters. The hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly. The location of the property among ruins make it special. We enjoyed the view from the rooftop. However, it is important to mention what happened to my husband on the first night. He went to...

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and one kid for new year recently. The hotel is old fashioned with big rooms, big beds, fireplace, closet with locker. The hotel has just 7-8 rooms, mostly wood style architecture, garden, swimming pool, terrace and a restaurant that is open all day. The hotel is in a quiet corner of the...

We loved our stay at Hotel Cirilo. Oscar was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very large and the bedding and linens were top of the line. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. My favorite part was the breakfast! There were many delicious optoins all served with fresh Guatemalan coffee.

This hotel was great! We visited with our two children (6 and 10) over Thanksgiving. It is only a 5 or 10 minute walk into the town and is located in a quiet spot. The ruins are amazing. Our room had a fireplace which we used nightly. We also sat in the lobby in front of the fire after a...

Nestled among ruins. Small hotel with very comfortable rooms and common areas. Great service from the staff. Good breakfast. Spotless. Safe. Quiet. Fireplace in every room and in lobby. Gated. Very close to downtown, small walk.

Oscar is one of the nicest and most friendly hosts. He makes you feel at home immediately. The hotel is excellent, and the ambience is perfect. It is built around the ruins of an old church, and there is a sense of peace and rest which surrounds you there. We were so impressed that we returned to the hotel when...

We stayed twice at Cirilo during our trip in Guatemala, as it was so nice. Nice staff, great location and beautiful hotel and rooms. Food was also great, their breakfasts are all as delicious as one another.
