From the moment you are welcomed into Hotel Cirilo the smell of flowers surrounds you. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a delight. And the yard and garden, with ancient walls, trees, and flowers create the most tranquil setting. Breakfast options are filling, tasteful, and made in the moment. Rooms and common areas are clean, and they are very comfortable. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that the hotel is a few blocks away from the core, yet it makes it for a nice stroll through this beautiful old city.

Hotel Cirilo is a beautiful quiet small hotel tucked away from the heavy traffic of the square. The staff is excellent and the decor is beautiful. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the action but the hotel manager offered to take me if i wanted.

Wow. Thank you to the wonderful staff of this beautiful boutique hotel. Serene. I enjoyed time in the pool with my baby daughter, we ate their very nice breakfasts and enjoyed the great hospitality in the grounds. A lovely hotel made even better by the attentive staff on hand. Thank you.

We stayed at Hotel Cirilo for 3 nights during our first trip to Antigua. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. We needed to leave early to catch our group hike one morning and assumed this meant we would miss the complimentary breakfast that started at 7am, but the staff offered to make us breakfast early before we left! The breakfast is wonderful and the hotel is filled with beautiful gardens and places to relax/read. I slept in one morning and the staff purposely did not turn on the outdoor fountain until they saw me out and about as to not disrupt my sleep. Great location (10 minute walk from the center of town). Would absolutely return!

Excellent hotel. In authentic Antigua setting build upon the leftovers of the earthquake. Very well maintained and extremely friendly staff. Attentive to the details. Also the food is good and freshly made. Quiet location but ok walking distance from old centre. Rooms have open fireplace which is nice on colder evenings.
