This place is absolutely incredible. We were recommended to go here by family. All the guests here were wonderful and the food was so delicious. The views were spectacular. The staff let the place down however. Did they work there? Didn't they? It was hard to tell as they were lazing about the place most of the time.

I stayed at Earth Lodge over Thanksgiving for a few days and it was everything I hoped it would be--relaxing, beautiful, and a cool spot for solo travelers. I ate and slept well and met some great people. Dinners are served family style, and they shut the wifi off for the night around 7, so it was easy to connect...

Two of us came for some Sunday Vibes, and we weren't disappointed. Soft Rock in the background, clean and spacious grounds, super friendly staff, view of the valley you just can't beat, and some drinks to go with. The driver was punctual in picking us up and dropping us off (Q15 pp one-way). We enjoyed the bbq burgers, although the...

I stayed in the canopy cabins with my daughters, ages 6 and 9 for three nights. We had a wonderful time. The girls loved the playground and I enjoyed lying in a hammock after our tiring travels in Guate. Earth Lodge is not really an authentic Guatemalan experience... by far most people there were foreigners, and it was pricey for...

This is by far one of the best experiences i've had in Central America, we stayed at la Cabaña de La Tierra (I guess that's it's name) and we had a clear view of the Volcan de Fuego Erupting, the dinner was awesome along everyone else staying in the hotel. The beds are comfy, food is nice, people there is...

I was sad to leave this place wishing we hadnt come. It sounded like my place, yoga, nature walks, hammocks with views. The room was okay but we have been traveling central america for five months and have stayed in much cooler rooms for half the price. The food was super expensive and with no love put into making it....

Hi Emma, So sorry that you didn't enjoy the lodge and feel there are hidden costs everywhere. I would like to comment on and clarify a few of your points. Since we are in a more remote location, our prices tend to be a bit higher than some other places in Central America, but we are not a hostel or...

We arrived at Earth Lodge to take a hike around the country side. The staff were extremely helpful and even let us borrow Rufus the German Shepard for our hike(he was a very good dog!) when we returned we had a phenomenal lunch, possibly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten! Great service great food!!

So first of all beware it is not an easy place to get to but the views totally worth it! Had a good time and good food and people was super nice. If you have kids they will love to go, there is an area to play where they will have a good time!

We did a day trip to earth lodge. Beautiful place to visit for an amazing lunch, and a nice place to chill out and play games for the arvo. Views are awesome! Wouldn't worry about the hikes - confusing paths, and views are just as good from the lodge. Also, they offer a shuttle from Antigua which is convenient but...

Hi Katherine, Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review!! We are glad you enjoyed your day at Earth Lodge! Just to clarify on the shuttle price for those reading this....the shuttle costs at the most, 50 Quetzales (about $7 US) for 1 person each way. The price does go down with more people and we...

There are many words that I could use to describe the place, I will chose two: Wonderful and Magic. This place is just unbelievable, the views here are one of the best I have seen. Having breakfast in that place is just a bless. Having the opportunity to see the volcano spitting fire is super exciting and beautiful. The cabins...
