Lovely, colonial/hacienda style place with interior garden; unheated pool and terrific onsite sauna. Staffing is only during the day; most needs are met by the adjacent (and far pricier) sister hotel Meson Panza Verde, which is where the terrific breakfast is served by a roaring fire.
I stayed here for three nights in October and after walking the beautiful town of Antigua decided to go back for eight more. The hotel is perfectly located so you don’t wake up every Fri & Sat night when Antigua fills with people and the discos open. Staying a few blocks closer in is very loud on weekends. Sister property Panza Verde offers a upscale restaurant, wine list and service. Breakfast is free for both lodging and it’s wonderful. Jordan from America runs the Palo Santo and he is so great at customer service! He knows a lot about the city, area, country and will help you with transportation options. The staff are also friendly, efficient and caring.
Stayed a night after getting caught in the rain. Loved it so much, didn't want to leave the next day. The night stay includes a delicious breakfast. That was worth the admission price. Would recommend.
Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and accommodating...my novio y yo loved our 2-night stay here, relaxing in the atrium/pool area in between cervesas y comida, but always starting the day with a delicious (included) breakfast at Panzo Verde - make sure you tip!!! While this hotel is a bit south of the heart of Antigua, it's well worth the extra walk!
This is a tiny place with only five rooms, which means it's easy to fill up with all your friends and family! Lovely courtyard, pool area with bar, yoga space and sauna. The sister hotel next door has a stunning dining room, menu and bar. Can't recommend it highly enough.
