We stayed one night at the Roberts House and found it to be a great location for visiting Nantucket. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, historic sites, and the beach. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The window in the room would not open and the air conditioner was mediocre at best. The atmosphere of this place is like staying at a road side hotel in a nondescript town. Decor is corporate and doesn't feel very much like Nantucket. The staff seems bored with their jobs; the housekeeping was painfully slow on the first day, nonexistent... More

Thank you for letting us know about your stay — I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t wowed. Our decor is indeed original, featuring bold, custom styles by a Boston-based interior designer and fanciful artwork (including a newsprint whaling ship). We want to be sure our guests remain comfortable at all times, and we would have loved to know about... More

We stayed in the Roberts House for three nights in October. The room was clean and the service each day was perfect. The best part of staying here is the location. It is steps away from the "downtown" and several of the top restaurants. I took several walking excursions and the meeting place was just a block away. We have... More

Stayed overnight to try out this inn. Pleasantly surprised. Large room and bath, quiet, modern furnishings. Located in the heart of the historic district. Consists of four buildings around a central courtyard. A variety of prices and conveniences. Probably a good fit for a first timer to the island. Keep in mind that "Nantucket" is an Indian word which I... More

My husband and I had reservations scheduled at Roberts House for early October, 2016. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our stay. Spoke with Scott, Mgr., who was so very kind and gracious in meeting our current needs. We had stayed at Roberts twice in the past and loved it! Will love it even more next time due... More

We booked this room for a weekend wedding (3 nights, standard queen at $1,203.00). Upon arrival, we were told that our room would not be ready until after 4 p.m., but that we could leave our luggage out in the open in the tiny lobby area, among the luggage of about 10 other guests (also waiting for the their rooms).... We stayed in Room 103. When we first walked in, we were amazed. The bedroom was large and beautifully decorated. Then we tried living in it. The room appeared to be plagued by flies. We personally killed five during our 2 day stay. By the end we were leaving the carcasses for the cleaner - who didn't spot them. Windows... More

We stayed here so that we could add a few days to our Nantucket Summer Vacation. We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was amazing and the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and the rooms were large.

It's the best location, in the middle of everything. When you're at a bnb on Nantucket remember it will be noisy as you're in a quaint downtown that is bustling! We had our kids stay in one room adjacent to us as they're older and it worked out fabulously. You can walk everywhere at anytime from here. The hotel is... More

Was coming into Nantucket for work and The Roberts House had a great deal for my stay. My room was fabulous, epitome of an island oasis. Beautiful colors, bed was comfortable and the location couldn't be beat. The only complaints I have - no ironing board in my room, but an iron. Staff when leaving could've been a little nicer....
