If I could give this place 10 stars I would! From the moment my friend and I were picked up from the harbor we could feel how great our trip was going to be. Shannon and the other girls at the desk (sorry didn’t get all the names) were great helping us find ways to the places we wanted to see and giving suggestions and having some laughs with us everyday. Our room was clean and beautiful, yes pricy but it’s Nantucket in July, and we felt it was worth it for the treatment we received and the amenities they offer. The adult pool was beautiful and relaxing and although we didn’t use the gym it looked very maintained and clean. Free morning coffee and cookies and lemonade in the afternoon was a welcome surprise. Jamie the manager was very nice and thoughtful, leaving us strawberries and wine in the room. Honestly one of the nicest places with the nicest people I’ve ever stayed. Will certainly be back!

I wish I could say something positive, but honestly I am left with nothing more than disgust and disappointment…the hotel looks as though it was a sloppily covered up crime scene…if you glance over the gloss and behind the pink and green anchors the Petri dish comes into focus and it is more sophisticated than an AP biology class…one would think at these prices and during these times a little concern, care and pride would be exhibited, but alas, sadly there is not…actually I do have something nice to say, if you happen to be standing on the stained and soiled carpeting and look up at the pool table lights you’ll be able to appreciate the care and preservation of the local spider species as they comfortably have free range for housing.

As a family of 5 we couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation. The staff was warm, welcoming and the service was over the top. The accommodations were first class, the amenities exceeded our expectation and every little detail was considered.

Overall, I really loved the staff at this hotel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating- they really make the experience! PROS: So easy to get around the island- the have set times when they leave to pick up and drop off at Jetties Beach as well as Cisco Brewers (something they don't include on their website, but definitely should). You can also call them at any time to leave the beach and they will come get you, no need to wait for a set time if it doesn't work for you. We never had an issue getting a ride to/from the beach, Cisco, or the ferry. And the drivers are so fantastic- friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys for kids to enjoy at the beach. I will say that 2 of the umbrellas they offered us were broken, so double check those. They offer coffee in the morning and cookies and lemonade in the afternoon- just really nice, small touches to improve your experience. Although there isn't much seating at the adult pool (only 12 lounge chairs) it was quiet and we never had a problem getting chairs in the afternoon. Though the hotel appears to be very kid-friendly, there was seldom loud children around, and is still a great option for couples. CONS: Overall, the room was okay, a bit small for the price, and we did experience some issues. Firstly, there was loud music that played around 7:15 AM our first morning. I imagine this was the workout studio beneath our room. Secondly, we could hear trucks conducting deliveries right outside our bedroom window, sometimes with people yelling. Thirdly, the ceiling in our bathroom started leaking one evening right before we departed for dinner. It was clear that this was not the first time it had happened as you can see from the weird spot in the ceiling, And lastly, the shower drain doesn't work properly. Within about 30 seconds of turning on the shower water, you are standing in inches of water. I would absolutely request a different room if I was placed here again. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening. The service was really good, our waitress and everyone who spoke with us were great. Unfortunately, in all honestly, the food was the worst meal we ate on the island. The bread that was served before dinner tasted stale. The seafood pasta has tons of undercooked onion, it didn't have any scallops as described, and the pasta tasted like it came from a box. The apple tart had soggy dough and wasn't well baked. I wouldn't return to the restaurant.

Dear Rebecca: Thank you for taking the time to share and I do appreciate you outlining both what you liked and what did not work for you.
