I had the privilege of staying at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort for a memorable weekend. My experience far exceeded my expectations: the hotel staff, especially John Vecchio, Makenzie Wall, and Fulya Castrello. Each one went beyond the normal scope of their job to make the weekend special. I cannot wait to return to this hotel in the future.

Hotel's Favorite
This review is for others like myself who are not familiar with Nantucket and undecided where to stay: Without question at the Nantucket Hotel and Resort. I read lots of reviews before deciding on this hotel - and it was an excellent choice. The hotel itself is very well maintained, relaxed and stylish. However, what really is exceptional is the service. Absolutely everyone who we interacted with was helpful, cheerful, and enthusiastic. The hotel provides a shuttle service which was especially nice as the island is overcrowded and it is impossible to get a taxi or a Uber on short notice. Also the restaurant is very nice with its indoor / outdoor layout and excellent food. Thank you for making this a great trip!

The entire staff at The Nantucket Hotel was so wonderful and accounting. Nothing we asked for was denied. The property is gorgeous even in the dead of winter-cozy spots to relax inside and outside (with fire pits). Our room was huge with wonderful views, sheets and towels were of the BEST quality. The food and service in The Breeze restaurant was delicious. Their shuttle drivers were amazing as well, took us anywhere we wanted to go around the island. We will definitely be back!

I just stayed at The Hotel Nantucket. I can not begin to express how wonderful the staff is and how special my experience was staying there in January. We had a charming suite with a little kitchenette. There was tea and coffee downstairs and a water dispenser for water all day. The staff was kind and friendly and happy and were so wonderful to spend time with. We had such a fun four days - even when we couldn’t get off the island because of the weather And had to delay our trip. The staff provided a yummy buffet dinner and helped us with all our questions. We can’t wait to return and will be bringing our children so they can have the incredible experience that we had. We even loved being there in the middle of winter. It was charming and magical.

From the front desk to EVERYONE in between, this Hotel has all the great things needed for a wonderful stay. The rooms were adorable and kept immaculately. Our room was just perfect for four women with lots of luggage! We had a king bedroom, a pull out couch, and a murphy twin bed. The den and kitchen space were large and comfortable. House keeping was right on the spot when we needed extra items or help with something. The front desk staff and manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND for everything. They helped us when our flights were canceled and provided special attention when we just weren't sure what to do. The dining staff was amazing, the shuttle drivers, bellmen, and everyone was so accommodating, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. We came for the last Bucket List weekend for Elin Hilderbrand, but we are leaving as fans of not only a great author, but a special beach island, and a superb place to stay. I hope to visit in the summer and enjoy this place again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Nantucket Hotel for Elin Hilderbrand's Bucket List Weekend. The hotel was the inspiration for her 2022 Summer novel, The Hotel Nantucket. While there are no blue hydrangea cashmere throws from Nantucket Looms or a complimentary mini-bar stocked with 167 Raw bluefish pate or Cisco Brewers beverages, the accommodations were exquisite. The hotel provided the perfect backdrop for a quintessential Nantucket experience! I stayed in the Carriage House, just steps from the Breeze restaurant. The room was both spacious with high ceilings, yet cozy, and had a nautical feel. I arrived several days early and worked from my room in the comfortable armchair. I spend most of my days on Zoom and received many compliments on the room's artwork and decor from customers and coworkers alike (and the wifi signal was more than sufficient). There was a vintage-inspired Smeg mini-fridge that I used to chill Veuve Clicquot, silky-smooth Frette linens & towels, and the most luxurious, generously-sized, plush Frette robe that I have ever experienced. There were even complimentary slippers adorned with swimwear to keep your feet warm. The Momo bath products literally smelled like summer and left your skin feeling refreshed. The high vanity sink in the bathroom and makeup mirror made getting ready a breeze. Natural light filled the space from the three windows (that actually open), but were equipped with shutters for sleeping in. I'm unaccustomed to daily housekeeping service, but the speedy and thorough cleaning was very much appreciated. The shared spaces within the hotel are also worth noting. Adjacent to the lobby, the comfortable library is filled with books and games (and yes, there is a table with a chess board!). Downstairs, there is a gorgeous game room with a pool table, elevated Monopoly set, and an expansive children's center. I did not partake in the fitness center, pools, or hot tub, but was treated to a yoga class with the hotel's zen yoga instructor. If you are a history buff, be sure to check out the historic murals of Brandt Point and the sweeping view of Nantucket from the First Congregational Church that are located on the upper floors. While I only ate breakfast at the Breeze restaurant, I hope to come back to try their menu for lunch or dinner service. The food served at our events was exceptional and; Pro Tip: the bartenders will make you a Heartbreaker if you ask. The location of the hotel is ideally situated steps from all of the fine dining restaurants and shops in town and only a short walk from the Brandt Point lighthouse, Jetties Beach, and my personal favorite, Steps Beach. Should you go to Jetties Beach, the Sandbar beachside restaurant and bar is not to be missed! The hotel also operates a shuttle that provides transportation to and from the ferry, as well as destinations such as Cisco Brewers and The Chicken Box. Did I have a chance encounter with Grace Hadley? I did not, but I did overhear other guests speculating about supernatural phenomena. Like the fictional Hotel Nantucket, the Nantucket Hotel's best feature is its staff. John, the Director of Guest Services, will truly make you feel that this is your island home. From all of the Front Desk staff to Mackenzie in Events Management, Tim from their sister property on the Vineyard, the General Manager Carlos and his adorable dog Easton, and even the owner himself, Mark Snider, made me feel welcome and were the most professional and gracious of hosts. Thank you for curating the experience of living in an Elin Hilderbrand novel! It was a weekend that I will never forget!

This was a special mom and daughter trip that we had been looking forward to for years and were finally able to make it this year. Every moment of our long weekend on Nantucket exceeded expectations and a large part of that was due to the amazing staff and service at the Nantucket Hotel. Every person we interacted with was approachable, friendly and always willing to help, answer a question and listen to our story of why we were there. They helped us find great places to go, helped us get there and every recommendation was perfect. The food, the environment and being so close to so many Nantucket treasures was a bonus. Specifically, I want to acknowledge the leadership at the hotel left us feeling taken care of from the first day when we met Fulya, Carlos, and John until the last moment when we left with Jheremy to go to the ferry to depart. Fulya and John always made us feel welcome and followed through in making each day special. I would be remiss if I did not go on to further say that John Vecchio was one of the brightest memories from our trip. To say my mom and I felt taken care and special at the hotel by John and the team is an understatement. He was simply fantastic at every moment we interacted with him - always going above and beyond to ensure we were able to make the events we wanted to, that we enjoyed them and beyond. This was a trip that we intended to be once in a lifetime, an unforgettable bucket list experience. And it truly was. Except, John and Fulya made it so memorable that we 100% will be coming back to the island and would not dream of staying anywhere but the Nantucket Hotel.

OH MY A NEW YEARS GEM , We returned to the Nantucket Hotel and resort to celebrate our first New Year’s Eve and boy were we blown away with the outcome.we again stayed in the Spinnaker water view suite Rm 43 and once again was it immaculate and impressive as in our first stay . This was our first New Year’s Eve away from New York and family members and the out come could not have been any more satisfying. A called was placed to see if there was availability for the New Years Eve dinner at the Breeze Restaurant. 30 mins later a return call was received from Kate who was able to secure a table for our New Year’s Eve dinner which was a big concern for us. Kate was very helpful In Giving us information about the Gala that followed in detail which turned out to be the most memorable and amazing moments we had in many years. The Gala is a must attend event if possible you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Kate. We had dinner which consisted of a 3 course meal which was amazing our server was Anna which we also had in our recent Thanksgiving trip top notch. Such a hard worker and just a great person. Thank So much Anna. The Nantucket hotel in our books is the gem of the island from check in to check out it’s a one of a kind experience that is second to none. Our first encounter was with John Sa…. Who we got to know on our prior thanksgiving stay he left an amazing impression on us he has unbelievable people skills just an all around great person who loves his Job. Thanks John. John V was our second contact once again we got to know John V on our prior thanksgiving trip he has a way of making u feel right at home and helps you through any process needed he plays a very big part in the way that hotel operates with is so smooth. Thank h John for making us feel at home. A very very special thanks to Fulya who has the ability to make all guests feel very welcomed she has an incredible personality and attitude. Again we met Fulya on our prior thanksgiving trip who left a tremendous impression on us. Thanks again for making our New Years Trip just as memorable. And then there is the GM ( CARLOS) don’t know where to begin he truly displays great leadership qualities and kindness to all he comes in contact with. CARLOS was a big part of why our thanksgiving trip was such an amazing experience and why we returned so quickly. We would like to thank u for the 5 star treatment and attention that was given to us. Finishing up this review of the Nantucket Hotel the only Negative thing on this trip was the day we departed the Nantucket Hotel and heading back to NY. We truly consider the Nantucket our second home and All staff our adopted family. We will refer all Clients, Family and Friends to this establishment where we know they will provide the same service we received. THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO ALL THE NANTUCKET STAFF AND WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING TOGETHER UP COMING WEEKENDS STARTING IN THE SPRING. EVELYN AND RICHARD ( LONG ISLAND )

What can I say? When you walk in the doors of The Nantucket, you feel like you are walking in to your favorite family member's home. Fulya and Carlos are the most amazing, caring, welcoming people I have ever met at a hotel. They remember your name, they go the extra mile with a smile or a quick chat...no matter how busy they are, they make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. My husband and I travel frequently all over, and I can honestly say, I have yet to find a property or people who are this special. I literally cried when we left. The hospitality is second to none and the hotel is warm, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We stay in an Islander Deluxe Balcony room and it is just so lovely. I cannot say enough good things about The Nantucket. I am so grateful to have discovered it and to live close enough that we can come back year after year. What a way to ring in the New Year! Also - quick shout out to Benny! Benny is an absolute gem. He picked us up at the ferry and drove us to our Jeep rental which was almost 15 mins out of town. He did it all with a smile and a very happy personality. We were so glad to meet him. He is a true asset to the hotel. Thank you everyone at The Nantucket for making us feel so special.

We have been going to the Nantucket Hotel every New Years for our Anniversary since the Hotel first opened in 2012! We can go anywhere to celebrate, but we always choose to come back to our “home away from home” (but better!) Not only is the service, the dining & the rooms top notch, we feel like we have new family members! We especially LOVE Fulya and Carlos and of course their most famous dog on Island, Easton!! From the moment you enter until the time you leave, everything is 5 star!! We will continue to come back every New Years to celebrate our anniversary, and of course we make time for a couple nights over the summer as well!! Thank you again for being our perfect get away spot!! We will continue to recommend the Nantucket Hotel to everyone!
