I have always noticed Hotel Pippa on my recent visits to Nantucket. When I had an opportunity to spend one night on the island, the charming place was my first choice.
I was not disappointed. I felt very safe checking in, with doors and windows open and even the a/c unit on in my room. I was offered to access my room early and found it to be extremely clean - the tv remote in a plastic bag and a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
As their website points out, some rooms and bathrooms are very small and so that is true. They are very comfortably appointed and great amenities by Momo.
Location could not be more convenient and I could easily stop by and wash my hands or drop of packages when I was out in town.
Breakfast was out in their narrow courtyard. The planters are beautiful and the staff was masked but were also so welcoming.
In these uncertain times, I felt safe and pampered.

Room Tip: Really look at the descriptions and if in doubt call them. My bathroom in room 4 was teeny.

Loved Hotel Pippa, modern beachy vibe in the BEST location right in the heart of downtown Nantucket - I stayed in the property’s petite full room (advertised as their smallest) and thought it was perfectly fine and especially great for the rate! Cute decor, super clean, great amenities (robes, slippers, waters, hair dryer, Momo bath supplies). The continental breakfast is top notch - 3 different options offered each day and served to you in the cute courtyard area, can opt for fun breakfasts cocktails from the hotel bar as well! Speaking of the hotel bar, this was a great feature!! It rained our second night and was fun to hang out at the bar before dinner and meet a few other hotel guests. Hotel Pippa staff couldn’t be better - Carl, Lauren, and Xander were so accommodating and friendly! 100% plan to return, my best stay on Nantucket in years!

My friend and I traveled together for the Labor Day weekend to Nantucket. It was our first time in the town and loved staying at Hotel Pippa. Aside from the location being perfect and walkable to everything in town including beaches nearby, the people that worked there were inviting, warm, welcoming and helpful. Carl was fantastic as was everyone else. Breakfast was peaceful, simple but delicious. At night the heat lamps and fire kept you warm on the patio. The beds were comfortable and you are provided slippers and robes. We knew going into it but the only issue is that one bedroom does have a bathroom that is not connected to the room so you have to go in the hall. It felt a bit like we were back in college but it was not a huge deal. Id recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nantucket. Thanks for a fantastic stay! There was also a great young woman that helped us and made us fantastic drinks. Well run and hope to return next year or sooner. Felt safe. They really made an effort to minimize interaction and contact in the room so we did not have house cleaning but would provide us extra linens etc if requested. Good shampoo, conditioner as well!

Headed to Nantucket for the first time to welcome in my 50th birthday—and Hotel Pippa was the perfect host. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming; breakfast was delicious; the bar, snacks and outdoor area was all we needed to find a comfortable safe nook to hang out in. Our room, #12 was roomy, airy, and so comfortable. The extra bonus of insanely warm weather for November was such a treat and the location is perfect to explore downtown. We are at The Tap Room, Brant Point Grill, Breeze, Oran Mor, Lola 41, Proprietor—not a single bad meal to be had. All were fresh delicious and all COVID safe. Tried Wicked Island Bakery, Muse for pizza and the Downyflake for donuts. The hotel also generously sent a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. I could not ask for better service, location and overall wonderful hospitality. Thank you Hotel Pippa and thank you Nantucket! Til we meet again in 2021!!

Fortunately the mid Sept weather was beautiful the whole time we visited Nantucket, and we very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pippa. It’s a great location within easy walking distance of everything in town. Maya, Alejandro, housekeeping and everyone else we encountered at the hotel couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful - they made the stay a pleasure. They’re proactive, and if you ask for anything, they are on it immediately with no hesitation! The place is tastefully decorated including quality linens, towels, sheets, robes and toiletries. The bar off the lobby is a nice touch for breakfast and a cocktail later in the day if you like. And we spent a lot of time in the outdoor common area between the two buildings with comfy chairs, tables and umbrellas - more than most guests. In addition to all the shops & restaurants nearby, there’s a killer bakery (Born & Bread) next door to Pippa! We’ve stayed at several B&Bs in Nantucket, and the Hotel Pippa is our favorite. We’ll be back, though we may choose a larger room for our next visit.

The room was quaint and artistically designed with modern touches encapsulating the historic charm of Nantucket. The property is centrally located in walking distance of the shops, restaurants and nightlife. I found management to be friendly, accommodating, and attentive (Carl & Zander). There was a complementary breakfast from 8-10 in the terrace daily. A great value for a sophisticated traveler.

We loved our time at this hotel. It’s obvious much thought was put into the guest experience. The decor was beautiful, modern chic, yet still charming. Nina was a real stand-out here with her white glove service while maintaining a friendly, approachable charm. The common areas were perfectly blended with the bar area as a casual breakfast spot in the morning and a trendy bar area at night serving the beautiful people of Nantucket. The outdoor patio area was gorgeous as well with plenty of lounge chairs and warm fire pits.
Our room, 12, was absolutely divine. Very spacious, clean, tall ceilings. One night there was a bit of street noise but had we left the air conditioning on, that wouldn’t have been an issue. My friend had the smallest room, 3, and she said she would probably pony up for a bigger room next time but it was certainly adequate for a solo guest.
The jewelry store next door, The Vault, is definitely worth the visit and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to meet the owner, Katherine Jetter, who is probably the most knowledgeable gemologist and talented designer out there, no exaggeration.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect as well.
This was our 4th visit to Nantucket and this is the first time we’ve ever wanted to re-book immediately for the following year. Hotels on Nantucket can be very hit or miss but this place is a solid choice, in my opinion. I HIGHLY recommend. Well done to everyone involved in creating this little oasis!

I had the most incredible stay at Hotel Pippa. The hotel and the rooms themselves are absolutely stunning with every detail kept in mind, making your stay feel extra special. With the wonderful, warm and welcoming staff there, Corey, Ieva and Lexy, I felt as though I was at home. As soon as I stepped into the hotel I did not have to lift a finger, and could really relax. Lexy and Corey gave me so many wonderful recommendations, that only a local could know, and I'm so glad I followed their advice (finding all the hidden gems on the island!). Jeremy, the bartender, is the highlight of the bar and really brings a special touch to the hotel ambiance. Many of the locals come to the bar just because he is there, but also because the drinks are amazing and the decorations are well-thought out, modern and gorgeous. With the lights dimmed at night and little candles, you feel it is more of an intimate affair. Not too many people know about the courtyard in the back, or the fire pit (!), so even though you are right in the center of town, it feels as if you've made it to a quiet island oasis. Hotel Pippa is a special place. If you appreciate cleanliness, high quality customer service, and location, this is where you want to be. A big thank you for hosting me, team Pippa!

My wife and I have been to Nantucket on numerous occasions over the years. We booked Pippa for an entire week months ago as it looked like an ideal online. We also booked well before the hotel filled up for the Labor Day week. One would think booking that far out (and for a full week) would ensure we we given priority on a room type. Spoiler: we were not. We were in a "Grand Queen" (room #14) which was just big enough to stand on one side of the bed or the other. The bathroom was JUST big enough for a toilet and a shower. There was not one thing "Grand" about it except for the $4000.00 we were charged for a one week stay. The door knob to our room was falling off and you couldn't properly open, shut or lock the door, the shower drain was clogged and backed up into the shower all week long. You could guess how gross that got after staying for a full week. Given that I asked three times for the doorknob to be fixed and it wasn't, I didn't even ask about the shower and we just dealt with it. We came for my wife's birthday so I didn't care to spoil it with constant complaints. It's also worth noting that you can't have your room cleaned (apparently covid rules?). If you get a small room and God forbid this room, good luck. While the people working there were nice enough, the room was insanely expensive for the size and issues we faced during the week. We've been to Nantucket on several occasions and while I understand how expensive it can be, $4K for this room for a week and with these issues is absolutely criminal. I myself work in the hospitality industry and I've never seen such an egregious rate charged for the caliber of room we got. I guess that's why they are rated #12 of 13 hotels on the island. Anyway, you've been warned. Book elsewhere.

Went here for a girls weekend and Carl was so awesome in helping us. He is an incredible manager and made sure we had everything we needed from wine to a late checkout. Amazing location and very comfy rooms/beds that have a cute design.

The location is perfect and the 2 bed suite is perfect to travel with your friend because you each have your own room and bathroom with a great common space to hangout in your robe and slippers.

Give the hotel 4stars because it could use some updates especially new rugs in our room but Carl is FIVE stars for service ! Would definitely go back !
