My family of 4 stayed in the Moby Dick Junior suite, which was very junior indeed - basically 2 connecting windowed closets with 2 twin beds, a queen, one small clothes closet and one bathroom with a mini fridge, and a single chair in each room. But staff was delightful, rooms were impeccably clean, backyard tables and chaise lounges were...

Thank you for your kind words and humorous descriptions. So many people ask us for multiple beds in rooms. Some have even asked if we have a closet that they could stay in:-) The Jr. Suite are bright and airy rooms looking out at the garden and @ certain times a distant harbor view. The bedding was designed by Donna...

I would recommend this B & B very much. Before I booked, I called to get information and they were very helpful and accomodating explaining the rooms and offering dining suggestions. Gail is the Manager and she is excellent. I rented beach chairs / umbrella and she had them waiting in our room when we checked in. I was traveling...

We look forward to your next visit. It is great to have someone so organized which always makes things go more smoothly. You made coming to Nantucket on the busiest weekend of the year seamless. So glad you enjoyed our location, garden, staff and suggestions for dining and all. It was a pleasure having you with us.

I enjoyed my stay at the Periwinkle so much last summer that I couldn't wait to return. Once again manager Gail welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. This year I spent more time relaxing in the peaceful backyard garden -- a sanctuary conveniently located steps from the kitchen where coffee/tea, yogurt and fresh fruit were...

It is so nice to have repeat guests like yourself, who treat the inn as their home away from home even for a short respite. So glad we make you feel at home to come and go as the wind and ferry horn blows.

This was a really comfortable B&B and I wish I had planned to stay longer. We were three women (2 aunts and an 18 y/o niece) doing a couple of days in Nantucket before the young one starts college. We shared bathrooms with the woman in the single next door, and it worked out fine. The kitchen is open all...

Well, you certainly can write our advertisements for our Periwiinkle Inn. Thank you for all of your kind words and descriptions. This place was impeccably clean and organized. It was centrally located to beaches and town. It was amazing staying in a historic building with all the original woodwork. The muffins at breakfast and chocolate chip cooks in mid-afternoon were simply delicious. I have nothing bad to say about the place! Thank you very much Gail and staff!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 15 and 16 year old children. We were in the Moby Dick Suite. Very comfortable and clean. Perfect for what we needed. The continental breakfast was great as well as the the Inn Keeper and staff. This was our first time staying as a family in a bed & breakfast. We truly...

We had 2 rooms for four days....for a total cost of 4881 dollars (with taxes). One of the room was very tiny...next to the entrance, which means it can be quite noisy when people leave early in the morning walking the stairs. We only saw the hostess (owner ?) once when we breakfast....some muffins, yoghourt (decent), fruit....the absolute minimum. Well...

Very cute B and B. Very close to downtown the whaling museum. Brandt point light and oldest house are an easy 10-15 min walk. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a small room as is expected on Nantucket. At booking they ask if there are any dietary issues. I said I was GF because I have Celiac. Was...

I just love this spot. It's close enough to town, yet set on a quiet side street with a lovely garden in the back. It always amazes me how many amenities they manage to offer in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Beach chairs, beach bags and towels, umbrellas, fluffy robes, a Keurig coffee maker in each...

This was our first time staying at a B&B. The inn was very quaint and clean with close proximity to town, ferries and the wine festival events. It would have been nice to have an extra duvet in the room and better pillows, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Glad that you enjoyed your 1st visit to a B&B, although we respect our guest's privacy, we welcome any calls from our foyer phone for extra blankets & pillows.
