We booked at the last minute for a 3 night stay. The location is right in the center of town which is perfect for walking to the shops and restaurants. We were greeted warmly at check in. The inn is beautifully furnished with modern decor. We had a car and weren’t aware that there was no parking. We found a lot but it was $50 overnight. The next day we found out from a meter maid that you can get a daily parking sticker to park in the street for $10 a day. The hotel should be aware of this since I assume many people come with cars. Breakfast is a nice continental breakfast, the only addition would be some fresh fruit and decaf coffee Our room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Robes are provided in the room. The outside patio area is very nice to sit for breakfast and evening, they have a fire pit however they close the are at 9 pm which seems early especially on a weekend. Guests were outside at 9 and had to leave the area. We had to check out at 8 am and there was no one at the front desk so I left my key behind the desk. Aside from these few issues, it’s a lovely place to stay. …
mid november stay on nantucket with glorious weather perfect for cycling. 21 Broad is an easy walk from the ferry up the cobbled streets of nantucket. greeted with warm hospitality of the staff at 21 Broad. The hotel is stylish. I felt right at home. 65 degree temps were conducive to enjoying the outdoor fire in the early evening. enjoyed my stay.
Fantastic from start to finish! Hotel staff were ALL amazingly friendly. They made us feel so welcome- like we were guests in their home. The room was small but very comfortable for 2 people. The bathroom was sparkly clean and very tastefully decorated. The AC worked perfectly when needed(which is a rarity in hotels nowadays) The breakfast treats in the morning and delicious snacks in the evening were such a nice treat. The location is right in the middle of it all yet also very quiet at night. The lounge area outside was wonderfully serene and beautiful with flowers and comfortable chairs and sofas. I cannot say enough good things about 21 Broad. We cannot wait to stay here again soon!!!
First time on the island and picked 21 Broad for our stay. So happy we did! Very nice place with rooms decorated perfectly! Building is obviously older but everything is updated! Nice deck where we had a glass of wine, but ya u have to bring your own. Centrally located to all the happenings in town and very close to the ferry!
We loved our stay! We were in room 107 which, for us, was a perfect room. Relatively private but 4 cheery windows and convenient for enjoying the side deck as well as running in and out for jackets or quick changes and bag drop offs etc. The location couldn’t have been better. In town convenience and an easy walk to steps beach, Galley (wonderful for drinks under the tent enjoying the water view!) and Jetties. The hospitality at the hotel was fabulous. Coffee in room and at stations in the hallways, available at all times. A charming and delicious breakfast snack set up in the morning and a BYOB cocktail set up in the evening - with clever as well as traditional mixers, ice etc. - everything but the alcohol needed to make a cocktail to enjoy on the front porch or by the fire on the deck. Thank you to all the staff for a beautiful stay!…
My husband and I stayed at 21 Broad recently. The inn exceeded our expectations! All the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodations were top notch from the well appointed room to the homemade treats in the afternoon and light breakfast in the morning. We also enjoyed relaxing on the private patio by the fire feature. Also, a short walk from the boat, great in town location We will return!
Amanda, the house manager, was so pleasant, kind and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The hotel is a gem…Everything about it! I will definitely come back to 21 Broad!
We enjoyed this very lovely home over a weekend in December. Very impressed with the wide wheelchair ramp, wide doorways, big elevator, bed on a bed frame, and beautiful roll in shower. All in a modern, chic decor throughout the hotel. Gracious hosts Amanda, Richard, and Ranger were very friendly and helpful. Very unique for New England!
The staff is amazing and friendly and we are so happy to be staying at 21 Broad. An excellent choice for anyone coming to Nantucket. We would certainly come back and stay here again next time on ACK. Thanks for your hospitality.
Our experience at 21 Broad started with an underwhelming greeting and check in. The young lady at the front desk seemed less than interested in our stay and included a 60 second orientation. We booked a Deluxe King room and would have hated to see a run of the mill king room. The room was really small with cheap furnishings that look good on the net but don’t measure up AND it wasn’t clean! The “material” on the socks shown in the attached pic was from the filthy area rug/mat that covered most of the floor. The other photo shows an example of the dirty rug/mat. The next morning the same front desk person didn’t even greet us at the uncontinental breakfast (see pic) they provide even though she was sitting right next to it. The “breakfast” was very meager to say the least. We stayed 3 nights and couldn’t wait to leave! All of this for over $500 per night! REALLY……stay somewhere else!…
