Great location right by the harbor. We stayed the night after coming back from Nantucket. The inside was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. The front desk people were nice. From the front it didn’t look impressive but was much nicer inside then the front would make you think. I would say there again if I needed a place to stay near the ferry.

We had a lovely trip to Nantucket for Christmas Stroll 2019. The price was comparatively reasonable, close to town, walking distance from the ferry stop, and very laid back. Diana left her cell number in case we had any questions and provided us an umbrella the one time it started raining. Daily cleaning of bed and bathroom. Ladies- bring an extra towel if you need one when you wash your hair. We will definitely be back!

I would like to say it was like coming home but I can’t because it was better! This hotel is located in a fantastic section of Nantucket, a few minutes of a walk away from the harbor where we were dropped off, but it felt so peaceful, it felt like we were the only people there. We were also close to bike paths, beaches and restaurants. The staff was wonderful and quick to help us when needed. The rooms were spotless! I love hotels where you can still see the history of the home, but you have all the modern amenities. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was so clean and our beds were so comfortable. A delicious choice of fruit and pastries created us each morning, as did the coffee (must have coffee!) My daughter loved the assortment of teas. I would definitely visit again if I make it back to Nantucket.

My family and I have been staying at the Anchor Inn for years. The management has recently changed, but the inn has still been lovely. New management has updated the rooms + cleaned up the area and it is a nice change. Diana, the Inn Keeper is the absolute best- always welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend staying here. It is a perfect distance from down town. It's a close, short walk to all the restaurants + shopping, but enough out of the way that it is always quiet and quaint. We stayed here in May and then again in August this summer and both trips were amazing. We are already planning our next trip back!

This place was amazing, the room was clean and pretty and the employees had answers or recommendations for every question I asked. The breakfast was good, and the beds were comfortable. Definitely would stay again. Would recommend.
