Abbey could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Dated decor, but renovations are in the near future. Small patio on side for delicious continental breakfast. Close to downtown and piers. We look forward to returning.

We were so very disappointed in this Inn. It has a lovely location and a pleasant layout.Checking in went well, but then problems arose. Breakfast consisted of a small fruit offering, coffee, and an inedible roll. Breakfast the second morning was not even laid out by 8:30 when

We thought this Inn was excellent. The rooms are small and baths too but the service and everything else is great. The location is convenient to the ferry, buses and lots of restaurants. I highly recommend the Anchor Inn.

A very nice and well priced Inn. Quiet and simple. Great location that is right out of the bustle but a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Easy walk from the ferry. They provide beach towels and you can rent bikes in town to get to the beaches. Closest very nice beach

This inn and its owners were a wonderful surprise for us! Being sent to the Island for work and getting a room on short notice left us wondering what we would end up with as Nantucket is so busy at this time of year! We I'm happy to report that things couldn't have worked out

"The Wanderer on the first floor is a good size but wifi was not working. Some of the rooms upstairs have very small showers."
"This is a small, 11 room, B&B and every room has its own bath. All the rooms at the Anchor Inn are good rooms. Making reservations well in advance, particularly in August, is vital because you can't get to Nantucket except by plane or boat. The airport is less than 3 miles from town and there are plenty of taxis. Most important about Nantucket is that you must be aware that you can't just make a travel choice on a moment's notice in summer, Not having to bring a car is also a plus because this island town is a walker's pleasure or a bike riders dream. There are so many bike paths.Nantucket also has a wonderful summer bus program that takes people back and forth to the ocean and around the island."
"I think the name of the room was the Patina and it had an adjoining room. It was very comfortable and quiet."
"Be sure to ask about the size of the room and bathroom, especially if you're tall or a larger person. This is an older home and small doorways, hallways, etc."
"Ask for the Tucker room - it is very private and quiet!"
