Very nicely renovated and updated. Old charm with modern amenities and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay right in the heart of town. Came for a wedding in September 2022, would definitely stay again.

Each time my husband and I attend a work trip we stay at Brass Lantern Inn. This Inn has been our go-to since we started visiting Nantucket. We tend to usually extend our stay to make it more of a getaway. The location is perfect, a quick walk to the ferry. They have a small parking lot that can accommodate 2-4 cars if you need to travel with one - which we tend to do for work trips. A car isn't really necessary if you are exploring the Nantucket center, everything is extremely walkable. The Innkeeper Sharon is extremely polite, kind, and accommodating. She always makes us feel welcomed and remembers us each time we visit. We have stayed at other Inns and hotels on the island and no other hospitality service compared. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast options are delightful. We will continue to stay at Brass Lantern Inn as long as Sharon is there!

We recently completed another fantastic stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. I know there are other worthy places to stay on Nantucket, but honestly we don't even bother looking at other inns anymore. The Brass Lantern always delivers an excellent experience- a clean, comfortable room, super helpful staff, tasty breakfast and great location. The inn keeper Sharon and her whole team deserve a shout out for making us feel very much at home. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed on Nantucket for the first time ever last week and stayed at the Brass Lantern. We loved it! Well kept and clean, charming decor, and walking distance to town. The innkeeper was wonderful. We loved the breakfasts that she provided as well. I reccomend Brass Lantern for anyone staying on Nantucket. It is also a more economical option compared to the other big hotels.

The inn had great food and hade delicious home made cookies at 5:00. The inn was in the center of all the restaurants and ice cream places like the juice bar. It had amazing rooms perfect for a family of four and just 2 people. The people their are very kind and kids are welcome.

We visited Nantucket in June 2022. It was our second time staying at the Brass Lantern, and it is still a lovely and very convenient B&B, You don't want to bring a car to Nantucket, unless it's absolutely necessary. The Brass Lantern is located near the Steamship Wharf, so it's a quick walk to drop off suitcases and check in. It is convenient to all the restaurants and attractions in town, but it far enough away from the action to be very quiet and pleasant. We arrived around noon, and although we weren't promised early access to our room, it had been cleaned and was ready for us--a nice surprise. The inn had undergone some major room and bathroom remodeling since our last visit, and it was a pleasure to settle in early, We came back to the Brass Lantern because we had a great experience the first time we stayed, and it had only gotten better. They added a beautiful pergola-covered seating area in the garden with heaters (which we didn't need) and plenty of tables. It is a half-mile walk to Simply Natural on Cliff Road, and I walked up daily for a sandwich to share in the garden. Since COVID, they provide guests with a nightly text and access to the breakfast offerings. A tray is prepared to order for each guest. The menu offered lots of options, and every breakfast was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Brass Lantern Inn. We will definitely return!

Such a cute stay! Adorable room, with a colonial feel, but a large and modern bathroom! The sheets on the bed were so soft! We even looked up the brand because we loved them so much lol! Loved the tea and cookies in the afternoon and the ability to choose your breakfast the night before. Overall, such a wonderful stay, in a great location, with lovely staff. We’ll be back!

We stayed in the Brant Point room on the top floor which had a view of the harbour. Sharon the innkeeper created a wonderful atmosphere with tea and fresh cookies every day at 5pm. As we were staying off season these were much appreciated as we came in from the cold to be greeted by the inviting smell. These could be enjoyed in the parlour which had a great selection of books to read. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available in here at any time of day. You select your breakfast via a web form the previous evening and Sharon has this ready for you at your chosen time. A lovely selection of fruits, pastries, bagels and granola. I especially loved the brown sugar scone (very different to the scones we have in the UK!) Highly recommend the Brass Lantern Inn for a charming Nantucket experience. Great location round the corner from the Whaling Museum and close to restaurants and bars in the town.

This is a lovely small bed and breakfast in a classic Nantucket building, close to everything in the downtown area. It is beautifully kept and cleaned. The rooms we stayed in were small, as expected in a building of this age, but very comfortable. There is a good amount of storage for your luggage if the ferry drops you off before check in time. Overall we had a great stay!
