Classic 15 room Inn in the heart of Nantucket. Individual rooms and suites with private, adjoined or shared baths available, bear the names of whaling vessels that sailed from Nantucket over a century ago. Built in the late 1920's, our amazing summer Inn is ideal for large groups, families and weddings. Our signature continental breakfast is included and served either to your room, or on our beautiful patios and spacious gardens. We have beach towels umbrellas and chairs and parking available for our guests.
My wife and I booked a trip to Nantucket on relatively short notice. Fortunately, the Barnacle Inn still had a room available. The location was great (within walking distance of most everything in town), the setting was lovely, the owners (and their sweet dog) and staff were very friendly, and the breakfasts each day were very enjoyable. We'd gladly stay here, again!

Very nice inn. Susie is the best hostess and we loved her Bernese Mountain dog. Fresh baked cookies greet you when you check in. Water, hot tea, & coffee available all day. Breakfast was yogurt, various muffins/scones, cheese wedge, juice and delicious. Room was small but neat, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to town. Enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely place. As you walk in you almost feel like you're in the living room of good friend's home. Susie is lovely. She's the woman behind this place. The colors are vibrant. She has all the details. Fresh cookies await you on the front table. There's water out on the veranda. The grounds are so pleasant. You can't beat the prices. She is so fair. Not an easy thing in Nantucket. The best part? You're a two minute walk from Main Street. I loved The Barnacle in. Will come back!

The Barnacle Inn is a true treasure! I had a fantastic stay and took full advantage of relaxing in the garden & the close proximity to downtown. I opted for a single bed with private bath. My room and bed were very comfortable, the continental breakfast always included freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, & yogurt. The location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, but the best part is the staff. The Inn Keepers, Suzie & Phil are absolutely terrific! They are so friendly, accommodating, and have all the recommendations you ask for. I felt like I was visiting my favorite Aunt & Uncle! I highly recommend staying at the Barnacle Inn!

This is a wonderful B&B. The owners and staff are really friendly, accommodating. The Inn is lovely and the rooms are well-appointed. Very clean, inviting, and comfortable. The breakfasts are a treat. Homemade pastries, fruit and cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee and tea. We enjoyed ours in the courtyard. The best part is the location. Half block from Main Street. We had a car, but walked everywhere. I highly recommend the Barnacle Inn.

If I could give The Barnacle Inn 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. This is an incredibly peaceful, respectful, and welcoming place to stay in Nantucket. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The immediate feeling you get when you arrive here is a sense of belonging. It’s so incredibly beautiful and the staff work so hard to ensure the guests are always exceptionally satisfied. They wake up before dawn to start organizing everyone’s complimentary breakfast with absolute perfection. I did not want to leave. Anna Grace is the kindest and most welcoming host. The historic appeal is overwhelmingly charming. It’s perfect for a two min walk to downtown. I will ONLY stay here from now on.

The Barnacle Inn is a treasure! It is reminiscent of an earlier era in decor and is a peaceful oasis just a few minutes walk to downtown. The Innkeepers are lovely, thoughtful people who do all they can to make your stay wonderful. Breakfast in their sweet garden is beautifully presented. We look forward to returning.
