The three of us (mom, dad and adult daughter) spent a long weekend on Nantucket. First time ever on the Island. Carlisle House is very friendly, clean, and perfectly located. A nice 10 minute walk to downtown. Great outdoor places to sit. We did not partake of the breakfast provided but it did look good :). Breads, fruit, etc. We had the Nantucket Suite. King bed and pullout sofa in another room. Worked for the three of us. Appreciated the outdoor seating area.

Charming home, wonderful location, made to feel very welcome. Outside area is lovely, with plenty of seating areas to relax and chat. Loved the 7:00 pm s'mores around the fire! I was a little apprehensive about a shared bathroom, but it was not a problem at all. The staff kept it very clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful historical home close to center of town. Walk to dinner, shopping and bike rental. Wonderful breakfast! Peaceful and well appointed inn. Great bath products. Highly recommend. Very relaxing even in the hustle of summer in Nantucket!

My wife and I had a wonderful Nantucket stay here at the Carlisle House Inn. They have a beautifully decorated and arranged property that made it feel nice and cozy throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed their outdoor seating areas - with beautiful hydrangeas and landscape galore that provide refreshing aromas. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine while sitting fireside on a crisp evening. Their breakfast area offered a number of fresh fruits, yummy baked goods, yogurts, cereal, coffee, juice and more! And while there were other guests here during our stay, the layout of the inn made it feel like we practically had the place to ourselves. Lastly, we have been EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by the level of cleanliness here. You can tell that the staff really takes pride in maintaining the property throughout the entire day. As an example, within 30 mins on my last morning here, I personally witnessed the staff wiping each of the tables in the breakfast area and double checking for anything being out of place multiple times. I wish I could give this Inn 10 stars! We will definitely look to come back. P.S. the location is very convenient to get to/from.…

We vacation over the fourth of July every year in Nantucket. (As a matter of fact this was my 65th Fourth on the island!) This guest house is charming, well kept, decorated beautifully and the innkeeper, Gineen, is helpful and lovely. We take the “Nantucket”which is a one bedroom suite overlooking gorgeous gardens with at least 9 different colors a of hydrangeas. Breakfast each morning in the porch consists of yummy muffins, yogurt and berries. S’mores are served around the fire pit at night. The location steps from downtown is ideal. My favorite nice touch? The magnifying mirror in the bathroom. How many guest houses have that? Wonderful place. Wonderful stay. Again!!

Terrific from check in to check out! 10:10! We arrived early from the ferry and Jeremy made sure his team got to our room next while we explored downtown. Very friendly. They were getting their outdoor space ready for spring, which we enjoyed. We had the Sconset Suite and pictures on website were accurate. Super comfortable bed, cozy chairs and great use of space. Bathroom was luxurious, bathrobes were comfortable and it was quiet. Would love to return!!! @mainely_living

Lovely old inn in the heart of Nantucket! Our room was comfortable, with a cozy fireplace that was perfect for the cooler nights. The breakfast was in a lovely sunny room, and plenty of fresh fruits and berries, yogurt, and baked goods were available. The common areas were tastefully appointed, and the staff were very helpful. We walked everywhere, and the Whaling Museum is right at the end of the street!
