Lovely historic Inn. We stayed at the top of the house in the Tom Nevers Suite. Room was nice and cleaned each morning. I thought it expensive but location brilliant. However, a bottle of complimentary water in the room would have been nice. They do smores during the Summer and guest can meet but again, a compimentarty glass of wine might be nice. Breakfast was fine, not exceptional at all. No fresh pastries etc. What was good was the early check-in as the room had not been occupied the prior night and certainly appreciated. Location great but at over $700/Night in Sept (shoulder season), they could give a little more in terms of tlc to guests.
Stayed for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay at the Carlisle House Inn. Excellent central location in the Town of Nantucket where it was easy to walk throughout the town. Located on a quite street so able to get several good nights of sleep. Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Beautiful garden area to sit outside and read a book. We enjoyed our stay.
Great B&B in a historic home (1765). Updated rooms, a great breakfast and walking distance to virtually everything you would want to see. Clean, Great staff and we loved the smores at the nightly fire pit.
The service was excellent and the location was great, an easy walk to Children's Beach and the downtown. Offers a single person room for solo travelers that is cheap (by Nantucket standards). Also has a lovely garden for eating breakfast in the morning or wine in the evening.
Lovely!!! We stayed in the Sconset suite which was darling and exactly what you would expect on this charming island. Jeanine and her team were attentive, helpful and the inn spotless.!!! The location is perfect. A short walk to town and quiet in the evenings. We enjoyed the fire pit on the back terrace where we met wonderful other guests!! The continental breakfast changed daily and was more than we expected!!
