My son and I loved our first visit to Nantucket so much we decided to extend our trip after our extended family left and our rental house was up. The Union St Inn was able to accommodate us at the last minute with a fabulous room with a sitting area. It was beautiful and the staff was amazing! From umbrellas, to breakfast, to the other friendly guests ... we just loved it. We had a fabulous experience and would definitely stay here again. We had a very early morning ferry the day we left and the staff was nice enough to package early morning to-go breakfast parfaits for us which was much appreciated for our long trip back to Texas. Thanks again to everyone! Cathy Gates ~ Dallas, Tx

We have stayed here twice during business trips for my husband. From the first, we were made to feel like welcome friends. The rooms are charming, the location is wonderful, the staff - Bethany and Stacy and everyone I haven't met - are gracious. But it's the details that really make Union St. stand out: the handwritten welcome note, the in-room beach bag stuffed with (really good) towels and bottled water, the breakfast served outdoors and with lots of choices, the afternoon goodies....it is a treat to stay here.

Very friendly staff, warmly received by staff. Good breakfast. Pretty city garden. Do not miss tea time. Close to downtown. Older building. There are stairs up to front door and up to your room (they will help with bags). This old house was converted to inn, with wooden floors and stairs typical of New England and the thin old wooden doors of the time. Our room was very nice, good HVAC, good bed, nicely furnished. Recommend this inn.

I RECOMMEND IT. The people are helpful. It was a great stay. If hospitality is the name of the game this is a winner. Pleasant indoors and outdoors in their garden seating for breakfast. The people were most helpful, from first inquiry to departure.

I’ve stayed on Nantucket many times. I come to the island for work and for business. This hotel is perfect. It’s very pretty, and very comfortable. The design is on point. I am an interior designer and my bar is set high for how a hotel should look and feel. This not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The staff is the most friendly of any hotel I’ve ever stayed. It’s very clean, and the bedding is white and fresh. The breakfast was better than I can make at home. A+ is my grade for this hotel. A big thank you to the hotel and staff for making my stay so lovely, and for making me feel so welcome and comfortable.
