This hotel is near the harbor in Nuuk and offers comfortable accommodations. Beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water and great service from Heidi at the front desk. She went out of her way to help us.

We were a large delegation to be accommodated on the seamen's home in Nuuk. I do not think that it is the first choice, when choosing a hotel, but the seamen's home was a positive surprise. They handled check-in as another major professional hotel. The rooms were ready, Internet codes, etc. My room was nice and large. The entire hotel...

Nuuk Seamen's Hotel is on the harbor (kinda makes sense), which is actually a good ways away from the restaurants and attractions of Nuuk -- and downhill. The room was very comfortable, streamlined. The staff was friendly, they held our luggage for us on our last day. Breakfast was decent, but we didn't eat any other meals there. I'd probably...

not too much options on a budget in Nuuk, then it's one of the cheapest hotel options. the staff was a little bit rude, especially a young girl. Room was ok, close to the harbour, 15 minutes uphill there is the city.

I stayed here for 2 nights in February. The hotel was clean with very friendly and approachable staff. There is a canteen on site, but it is not too far to walk into town, which was very pleasant. There were no taxis in the morning to take me to the airport, as they had all been booked up, but the...

My husband and I stayed recently for a couple of nights at the Seamen's Home in Nuuk and found it to be a comfortable and convenient place to stay on arrival in Greenland. The rooms were plain, but clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and obliging in allowing us to store bags, giving travel advice, phoning taxis etc....

I stayed for two nights whilst in Nuuk. The Seaman’s Home is by far the cheaper of the two big hotels in Nuuk (although even cheap in Greenland is fairly expensive compared to most other places!) The hotel is located in a quiet spot near to the harbour (ideal for the ferry), with good views over the harbour, about 10-15...

Excellent value for money. The location is down towards the harbour, so convenient if arriving on the Arctic Umiaq; it’s 15 minutes’ walk into the centre of Nuuk. The hotel is bright and airy, and well looked-after. My room was modern and pleasant, with a comfortable bed and washbasin. Bathrooms are shared but are plentiful, and I never had to...

We really enjoyed our two night here, not because of its luxury but location and other reasons. Our check in was ok . i cant say super welcoming but quick and efficient. The few hotels in Nuuk are overpriced, and the Seaman's Home seems to be the best compromise. Rooms are spartan but impeccably clean and spacious. Despite its name, the hotel is heavily used by business people and tourists. The piano in the lounge seems to attract lots of hidden talent, and you will occasionally be treated to an impromptu concert....
