I really recommend this place! Wonderful location, nice personel (friendly and helpful). Price is good, nice place to stay for a city break. We felt safe and welcomed. Parking place is available for guests. Breakfast is available, room was tidy.
Possibly the worst hotel room we’ve stayed in in 30 years. The room was in a total state of disrepair, was unclean and staff were indifferent at best. Windows were either jammed or broken (I tried to open one and it nearly fell out of its frame), the shower head was broken so it had to be handheld, the bed “base” was a few lumps of chipboard whacked together that I barked my leg on, the mattress was a lump of sponge that gave no support, the sheet didn’t fit the bed, there were horrible stains in the bathroom ceiling from old roof leaks, the bathroom was unclean, wifi wouldn’t reach our room. There may well be nicer rooms in the hotel that are like the photos. Ours wasn’t but of course you wouldn’t put up photos of your worst room would you? My advice is, if you choose to stay here, specifically ask not to be given room 213. Good luck.…
Great location, Lots of free parking, clean room, good breakfast. Only down side is the very small rooms and minimal service. But for the price this location can not be any better. Five minutes walk to stonebridge and Lots of restaurants. Recommended
A very central hotel in the Old Bazaar district. A couple of minutes walk from Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge. Rooms were very comfortable and nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was ample to start the day. Reception were able to organise a transfer for me from the airport to the hotel for 20 euro which really helped when I arrived in Skopje airport. This hotel was a bargain for the price I paid so will be staying here again next time I am in Skopje
Hotel de Koka is a nice hotel located right in the middle of the old souk and the modern part of the city. The hotel had a very nice complimentary breakfast and all staff were helpful and attentive. There are banks and just about any style of restaurant just outside your door.
What a fantastic hotel. I booked based on the reviews and was definitely not disappointed. Really lovely, clean, modern, comfortable and spacious room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Alessandra. Great location. Highly recommended.
Located next to the Grand Bazaar, you immediately feel the buzzling vibe of Skopje at check-in. The reception is very informative and friendly. A great portion of humour is never far away. The rooms are clean and equipped with a fridge full of goodies. Service of the rooms occurs on daily basis. The breakfast is basic but tasteful. David, Mister Anthony and myself would highly recommend Hotel De Koka.
Rooms were lovely, spacious and cleaned daily. Staff spoke excellent English, very friendly. All in all 10/10 and would highly recommended. If I ever return to Skopje I will defiantly return to this hotel. Thanks for a great stay
Very good location, two blocks from Old Market and two blocks from the statue of Alexander and the Stone Bridge. Convenient parking outdoor right by the hotel. The hotel itself has nothing especial, nor has the room or the bathroom, but everything is OK. Good breakfast but take into consideration you may have to carry your luggage for some stairs as elevator always stops in the middle of two storeys.
3 night stay. Very large room with double and single bed. Good sized bathroom. Two hard chairs to sit at desk. Could do with at least one comfortable arm chair. Breakfast fairly poor, need more local fresh produce. Very near centre of city
