Very nice rooms and great location. Can walk to all the restaurants and across the street from a downtown square/park. Rooms very clean and comfortable and staff very attentive. Visited during coded so was unable to really enjoy all the amenities but plenty to do still.

Finally, a weekend getaway for my husband and I, the first this year thanks to COVID. We weren’t sure what was going to be open and how much there would be to do in town so we wanted to have places to hang out in the hotel other than just our room. The inn is beautiful, no question and we picked it because there appeared to be lots of places to just sit and be, all around the the inn and in the grounds. Sadly, due to COVID a good portion of the public spaces are currently closed off and all the seating areas around the fire pits outside have been changed to accommodate the restaurant tables so were not available for hanging out in. It’s completely understandable and no fault of the inn or its staff but nevertheless it was a real shame that we weren’t able to utilize all the facilities as we’d hoped. On a more positive note, the location of the inn is superb. It’s right in the center of town overlooking the green so everywhere is completely walkable. Great for getting breakfast (not available in the hotel due to COVID!) or dinner. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with a very comfy bed, and a gas fire. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and the shower was amazing! When COVID decides to leave us alone and we can go back to normal we would love to visit the inn again and see it in all its glory. Overall, definitely a great place to stay and we would recommend it highly.

We stayed at the Inn on Boltwood in Amherst while we prepared for our son's first year at Amherst College. While the location is unbeatable, the very best things about the Inn is the service. The team there, even during the intense Covid restrictions, were always willing to help with anything. Positive attitudes and great customer service! The room was quaint, as expected, and the food from the neighboring restaurant was excellent. We will be back!

To celebrate my husband’s 87th Birthday we decided to not only enjoy the Inn’s restaurant which we have frequented many times but to check out the Inn for a one night stay. The Inn’s amenities were limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. The common spaces were lovely. Our room was quite small but did have a gas fireplace which would be nice during the winter. The Inn staff were very professional and I can’t say enough nice things about their Restaurant wait staff. They make your visit so pleasant and that’s why we do enjoy dining at the Inn on Boltwood.

We've had a great experience staying at the Inn on Boltwood. Very friendly staff made sure we had everything all set and ready for us before the arrival, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the staff was accessible and always there for any questions. The COVID safety rules were followed perfectly and we felt safe and welcomed. Highly recommend, also with little kids!
