Was here to attend a conference. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location for all downtown activities. If you like sailing, the Woodwinds dock right outside the hotel. Pusser's restaurant is also connected to the hotel. Only complaint was the $35 per night parking fee
What an incredible hotel and hospitality experience — thank you, Annapolis Waterfront team! I’ve never been at a hotel this thoughtful and accommodating. We were worried about having our puppy in the hotel, and Rene went miles out of his way to make sure we (and the pup!) were comfortable and happy. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-designed, and we are so grateful to the team that runs it. Highly, highly recommend, and thank you, Rene!
Great experience! My husband and I stayed here for our recent Babymoon. We were very pleased with our choice. Every year we stop in Annapolis for a few hours in our way to Ocean City, therefore, we somewhat know what the area has to offer. This(I believe) is one of the only hotels in true downtown Annapolis, besides the Maryland Inn or an Airbnb/VRBO unit. But it is the only on the water. Rates are higher than most other but you also get what you pay for. From photos and reviews it looked nice and given its an autograph collection, I also know it should be nice, but when we pulled up, we were even more surprised how nice it was. From pulling up, to the service from valet, the hotel itself has been newly renovated, and is very clean. Room was very clean. We were unable to get a room with a balcony as they were already booked (2 weddings in the hotel the same weekend we were there) but the hotel did the best they could to accommodate our requests and put us on the top floor, end room, with a great view. Rooms aren’t real large but it is an older hotel that’s been renovated several times. Decor was nice and unique to area. Hotel is in a great spot as it is walking distance to Ego Alley. Can’t say enough about valet staff and the younger girl at the front desk was very helpful when asking about restaurant recommendations, boat rides, etc. glad we chose here for our Babymoon, great memories and experience!…
We have stayed here at least 5x's and it just keeps getting better. The staff here is top notch. We have definitely noticed at some hotels that service has really suffered since Covid, but not here. The gentlemen at the desk were so nice and offered us a another room the 2nd night when there was construction going on on the adjacent dock. The valet guys are always great too. To the GM: you do an outstanding job of hiring. If you can swing it, get a waterfront room with a balcony. We love to look out at all the boats, the Naval Academy, the Capital building and the beautiful town. We'll be visiting here again soon!
Nice hotel close to everything in Annapolis. We had a room overlooking the marina which was quiet. The staff were lovely and helpful. The restaurant didn’t match the hotel- it was very noisy with lots of people in the outside bar area. The food was okay.
The location of this hotel is great, walkable to the restaurants, shops and docks in Annapolis and it’s on the water. The room was cute. It had a nautical theme, was relatively up-to-date, had a full length mirror but no magnifying mirror, a small bathroom with a small vanity with just enough space for one person, small desk, Keurig machine, large screen TV. TV wasn’t plugged in when I got there and I couldn’t get behind the dresser so I called downstairs to the front desk and someone was in my room in about five minutes. There is also a casual restaurant connected to the hotel, not that you need it with all the other nearby options. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again for a quick trip.
It took 2 weeks of multiple calls and emails to get my $2200+ deposit returned. I booked back in October for USNA Commissioning week in late May. Prepayment in full was required but the reservation was fully refundable if cancelled a month before arrival. I cancelled before the deadline and received an email confirmation of cancellation (res was originally booked online as well). I expected my credit card to be refunded what I previously paid. After days went by without getting my refund, I called the hotel. Was put on hold for a long time, then finally passed to a voice mail. I left a detailed VM. More days passed, no call back, no refund. So I emailed Bonvoy customer service (I’m Bonvoy Gold). Still no dice. It took multiple additional emails and phone calls to get the money back I was due. All they needed to do was refund my credit card. I was told there was a problem between the Bonvoy/Marriott system and the hotel’s system. What?! I can reserve and pay for this Bonvoy hotel online, but I can’t get a refund without having to spend time chasing it down? Super frustrating and unprofessional.…
Rene at the front desk and Christian the Valet attendant were absolutely superior In their responsibilities and how they represented this hotel. Their customer service and attitude are beyond reproach. As a retired Naval Commander I have stayed in many hotels over the years. Rene and Christian are patient and knowledgable. The room was immaculate and well maintained. I was so Impressed with Rene, Christian the room and amenities I felt Compelled to make this post. I wish I had Rene and Christian on my team!!!
We stayed in a waterfront room with a spectacular view of the sunrise. Our room had everything anyone could need and was all up-to-date. The staff, from the valet, to the desk clerk to the cleaning staff were all tip-top friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Janaija was on the desk for nearly our entire two-night stay, always greeted us with a smile, and always helped us with our plans. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed here one night. The location is great for all activities in Annapolis. Room appears to have been recently remodel. Very clean and modern. The shower was bigger than most hotel rooms. The heating/ air conditioning did not seem to work very well. Even though it was 25 degrees outside we had to run the air conditioner and that didn't even cool the room to a comfortable temperature. As with most hotel rooms there was only one chair in the room. But this one was an uncomfortable wooden desk chair. What is it about hotels don't they think there will be two people in the room.
