My fiance and I decided to spend our anniversary here. We booked last minute and were able to get a King Balcony on the 4th floor (it is only 6 floors high). Upon arrival to the hotel, IMMEDIATELY, I was greeted by Corey when he chivalrously opened the passenger side door of my vehicle to let me out and greet me with a genuine smile and immediately he went into help mode. All of my bags were taken care of, they were immediately brought up to my room by Corey where he was very patient with us as we asked question after question about different things around. (Some background) I was in rare form that night too and he dealt with all of my continuous nonsense with smiles and grace and continued to help. I was surprised Later the night of check in I was having an issue figuring out how to hook up my firestick to the television so that I could watch my shows, even while away :) Well, it didnt work! ahh! I simply couldn't change the input.....Corey must have made 4 up and down trips to my room (mind you, I am a night owl so he is doing this at midnight!). I truly knew that he WOULD find a way for this to work for me. He was determined and tenacious; he did everything that he could until the problem was solved. He went above and beyond what he needed to do AND in the end, probably the most impressive, is that in order to fix it, he had to think outside of the box, and that is an ESSENTIAL trait that is in short supply among those in the customer service industry and Corey is one of a kind! A hotel is only as good as the staff it employs and judging by the treatment we received; we were very pleased.…
Stayed here for one night on a quick post-holiday getaway to the beautiful city of Annapolis. A friendly offseason package included several amenities that would have been stratospherically expensive in the busier months. WHAT WAS GOOD: The location. You can easily reach most of the city’s attractions on foot, including the City Dock, the Naval Academy, Main Street and any number of the beautiful neighborhoods that make up this pleasant capital city….Our room, on the 6th floor overlooking the harbor, was roomy and comfortably furnished. It featured a king-sized bed and soaking tub tucked away in an alcove. All furnishings and room amenities were modern and contemporary. The water view was spectacular….Staff were almost unanimously friendly and welcoming….We didn’t have dinner at Pusser’s, the restaurant downstairs, but breakfast, included in our room rate, was excellent. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: There were a couple minor service misses related to our rate package. We needed to specifically request a couple of the included perks that seemed to have been otherwise forgotten. We also advised at check-out that our in-room Keurig appeared not to be working. No major problem as coffee was available in the main lobby, but still disappointing. THINGS TO KNOW: Parking is valet only and will set you back $35 per night. BOTTOM LINE: Enjoyed an excellent stay here at a favorable offseason price, but be aware that in-season stays are costly enough that you should expect top-level service and exceptional accommodations.…
From our arrival to our departure everything was perfect. The check in was quick and informative. Our room was very nice, clean with very comfortable beds. Our dinner in Pussers Restaurant was first class and and I would recommend the Crab Cakes. The coffee station in the Lobby was nice for a good cup of coffee in the morning. Our check out was smooth and all in all this was a very nice and restful stay.
This was our second trip to Annapolis and we loved this hotel! The staff are so caring and the location of the hotel is perfect. The rooms are updated, clean and so comfortable. Having an on site bar and restaurant is a plus. Brittney at the front desk was so lovely and was able to put our group in rooms that were all in a row. The bellmen/ valets were awesome also. There were six of us in three different rooms and everyone enjoyed their stay. This is my new go to in Annapolis.
Perfect location! The room decor was great, very nautical and crisp. I did not have a room with a balcony but I did have a view of the marina. The bed in this room is possibly the best mattress I've ever slept on in any hotel with the perfect pillows. Well done!
We love this hotel. The staff go above and beyond. Renee always has us set up for a wonderful experience when we come to visit our son at the Naval Academy. We adore the valet team as well. They are the most professional and considerate you will find. Mark, Corey, Austin Johnathon and Kevin!! 👍
We were welcomed by a friendly parking attendant who was glad to see us in spite of fact that he was soaked from the rain. Greeted at registration with a complimentary breakfast when we asked for it for our two day visit. Loved the view of the harbor from our quite spacious room on the fifth floor. There were no toiletries in the bathroom and the body soap dispenser in the shower was missing. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts and had a wonderful dinner experience. Great bar experience with generous cocktails a Pussers Rum extravaganza.
Let's start with the location... on the Annapolis City Dock, central to all things downtown and the Naval Academy. However, you are paying dearly for this location. This is not a premium hotel. Rooms are small and while "current" are not maintained well. Power outlet access requires crawling around on the floor, nothing bedside. The service levels are similar to what you would expect from a limited services hotel, like a Courtyard. This is far from an "Autograph Hotel" experience, though the price exceeds most. I was not offered any of my Marriott elite benefits. There are better options in Annapolis but none in this perfect location. One positive outside the location, the valet system is text-based and very efficient.
We had an amazing 4th floor balcony view of the harbor. We loved watching all the boats motor or sail by. The room was clean and very nice. The views were of the harbor and the main dock. A wedding on the dock that evening treated us to a spectacular fireworks display. A wonderful stay.
This waterfront hotel in downtown Annapolis is comfortable, and quiet, with excellent valet parking service (especially if Jeff is on shift). The restaurant food is great, and is served swiftly with a smile on the dock, inside, or at the bar. I'll be back!
