We had a great stay here and would recommend it to others. There valley drivers were so friendly and prompt! We especially enjoyed Karrison's valet services! The rooms were a bit small, but well appointed and somehow had a huge closet.

Stayed at the Maryland Inn. The Inn itself is lovey, and very clean. It is in a great location , walking distance to restraints, shops, the Naval Academy, and water front areas. Would definitely stay here again. The entire process from check in to checkout was very easy. We chose to valet our vehicle because we were afraid parking would be difficult. The valet crew was wonderful! A special thanks to valet Alex (Thompson) who went above and beyond in helping us. Thank you!!

We stayed in the Robert Johnson which was average at best. A few things to review before you say yes to this hotel (which is one of three). 1. They are not connected to each other. 2. The Robert Johnson does not have a check in desk or anyone (for that matter) that is in the building. 3. There is one exit that dumps you on the capital rotary with no ability to load or unload. Two steps to get in, so wheelchairs are a no go. Your car has a high probability of getting hit or dented. 4. There is zero parking. No one was at the Maryland Valet when we arrived at 6pm and the exchange at the front desk to try to get a person to get our car was ridiculous. Leaving me with zero confidence in their ability to care for my car. So in short there is no parking and you will need to park in the public parking garage and pay if you want any timely access to your car. It's a 4 block walk. 5. Cleanliness - rating 1 - Over all the place was very dusty and the amenities were worn. The plugs did not hold your plug in the outlet, they just fell out. The shower curtain drug on the inside of the tub, so you were stepping on it all the time. The sink dripped and leaked (Rm 2420) and the toilet ran constantly. We needed new sheets after the first evening, and called just to ask them to make our room (I recognize that you don't get new sheets everything during a refresh which was why I called). They did refresh our room Friday. However, we never say them again. I mean no one ever came back even to give us towels or check on us. There was no explanation about how to get your room cleaned. I assumed they would make the bed and refresh towels everyday unless we put the Do Not Disturb sign out. No such luck we never saw them again. 6. Complimentary breakfast/snack bar. First - the coffee in the room is horrible, don't even bother. Friday morning, there was coffee and snack bars/muffins on the first floor, but that was they only day we saw it. Sunday at 9am, nothing was even present on the credenza. No idea it was even a thing. We both laughed and said, well I guess not today. 7. Exterior Signage - there is no signage at the Robert Johnson entrance telling you where to check in or where to park your car. I honestly did not see the email they sent the day of to tell you where to go. I expected each hotel to have its own concierge. So if you are looking for that, stay at The Maryland Inn. There is no signage as to where the ice machine is - oh it's the second floor? Who knew, we had to stop on each floor and look for it. There is nothing in your room that tells you about the hotel, the area, or the history of these hotels. ----- Unimpressed. You're not missing anything. Stay somewhere else.

aleshae2023, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. I am disappointed to hear that there were several issues that you encountered, and I will be taking steps with my teams to address those issues. We have one main building where all guests check in- the Governor Calvert House, located at 58 State Circle. While we don't have a Front Desk in the other two buildings, we do have personnel working in those buildings that can offer assistance to you. To clarify- there is an ADA accessible wheelchair ramp to the right of the entrance steps at the Governor Calvert House; this building (and all of our other buildings) are ADA accessible. We do offer Valet Parking, but it is on a first come, first serve basis. We sincerely apologize that Valet Parking was not available when you arrived for your stay, but we did recommend alternative options (Calvert Street Garage) that would have been free of charge to you. I will certainly be sharing your feedback with my housekeeping team and engineering team so we can better address these issues in the future. We thank you for choosing the Historic Inns, and hope that you give us a second chance. Respectfully, Tim Campbell Director of Rooms Historic Inns of Annapolis

We had a wonderful stay at the Governor Calvert Inn. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The staff even sent up some delicious candy to us instead of a bottle of wine that we declined because we don't drink. That was very thoughtful. The valets Alex, Jax and Kev were friendly and prompt with getting us our car. Great job everyone. We'll be back.
