My husband and I stayed at the Governor Calvert House for a night. The room was exceptionally well decorated in various patterns of black and white--stunning! The desk clerk and car valet were very gracious! The location was near to several outstanding restaurants and boutiques.

The room was beautifully decorated and clean. The hotel itself is elegant and charming. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We were in town for a birthday weekend getaway and we will definitely be back. We stayed at the Governor Calvert Hotel of the 3 historic inns.

We had a wonderful stay in the Calvert a few days before Christmas. I had booked two rooms in the Maryland Inn, but we were upgraded to top-floor terrace rooms in the Calvert. During our stay the staff was courteous and helpful and the rooms were lovely. It's always fantastic when you can step out of your hotel room and...

We stayed at the Governor Calvert house which could easily be a 5-star hotel with some tweaking. Our interior room was well-appointed facing a ballroom/function hall below that was probably a garden in the past. I could see why some reviews here are negative. If there was a wedding going on, this room will be blasted with party music. Luckily,...

This is a must stay if you are visiting Washington DC and/or annapolis. The value is outstanding (we got a military discount). The rooms are beautifully and historically decorated (I copied a few ideas). The staff was friendly. The Treaty of Paris cafe food and staff were outstanding. I will be visiting every year at Thanksgiving or Christmas (even though...

We stayed at the Maryland Inn, one of three in Annapolis which is part of the Historic Inn family here. The Inn was great, room spacious, downtown and a few block s from the water. Watched the Military Bowl parade off of our balcony. Parking is a nightmare, valet is at the man Inn, and requires what seems like a...
