Along with four other couples, we rented the entire house for a week. It's a beautiful old historical house and the location could not have been better. We were in downtown Annapolis, within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions and many fine restaurants. The house was impeccable - lovely decor, full use of the kitchen and laundry. Our hosts... More

My wife and I were looking to get away for a weekend and were always interested in Annapolis. We generally prefer Bed and Breakfast accommodations for many reasons, among them, larger rooms and a more homey feel. For this trip, another important consideration was the ability to walk to town and restaurants. After doing some research, it seemed that the... More

Our son was getting married and we had a lot of out-of-town guests coming. Our house could not accommodate the crowd and we need a place large enough for the Friday night rehearsal dinner and Sunday morning brunch. Renting the Folly for the weekend was perfect. The owners worked with us and the caterer to make both events perfect. We... More

My Girlfriend and I were looking for a unique place to stay over the chain hotel that we normally stay at in the very place we met in Annapolis Maryland. It was a special weekend since we were getting married downtown. We saw the high ratings for the Royal Folly and decided to stay. From the moment we arrived, Ed... More

First, I cannot express how truly wonderful our experience was with the Royal Folly. The proprieters and hosts, Ed and Pat, made us feel truly welcomed and like a member of the family. We were in town for the wedding of a friend and while the Folly was not the venue for the wedding it truly became the hub around... More

Had the best time!! Didn't know what to expect from this bed and breakfast. Rooms were totally private and very well decorated. Stayed in the Queens Chamber and couldn't have been happier. Had everything you could have wanted. Enjoyed our wine out on the deck adjacent to our room every evening. Location was great. Parked the car on Friday night... More

My mom and I stayed at the Royal Folly last weekend (Saturday 6/22-Monday 6/25). We had an absolutely wonderful time. The accommodations are lovely. But what makes the stay so special are the hosts - Pat and Ed who are so welcoming and they treated us (and the other guests) like life long friends. Staying at the Royal Folly is... More

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Folly for 2 nights in early June while visiting Annapolis for the first time. Our experience at the B&B is what made our trip! Annapolis is a gorgeous town to visit but the Royal Folly experience is the icing on the cake. At first we weren't sure if a B&B was a... More

My husband and I were first time B&B guests of the Royal Folly. From the time we rang the doorbell, Pat and Ed made us feel like family!! We stayed in the "Mistress Erika's Suite" for two nights and enjoyed the tranquility of the room. Pat and Ed were amazing hosts. They served a fabulous breakfast! We stayed for the... More

My husband and I have been to only one other B&B (Cape May, NJ), but we love it and have been there times - so we came into this new B&B with high expectations. I'm happy to say that the Royal Folly far surpassed them! Ed and Pat are fantastic hosts; they made us feel taken care of even before... More
