Our host was out of town over the weekend, so we were well taken care of by the housekeeper. Breakfast is more basic than bountiful, but the place was very clean and accommodating. My daughter and I shared a room with two comfy beds and a a nice size bathroom, the air worked great on this very warm weekend. Quite... More

I was going to stay with a friend's cousin on my journey through Annapolis, but at the last moment it fell through. We were able to find a room here. I was surprised there was a room available and so thankful someone answered the phone at 10:30 at night. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. He was a real... More

We were booked for the Annapolitan, but because of a glitch, the innkeeper gave us an upgrade to a lovely room at the Academy right in the city. Staying at the Academy was superb because it's within walking distance of the important city sightseeing destinations: Naval Academy grounds, State House; City Dock, Eastport across Spa Creek; all the shops in... The overall first impression was that it was clean and the keeper was very friendly. I didn't like that at the front there was a phone number to call to check in. The keeper came to greet us after ringing the bell. It is in a noisy Main Street so you can hear passing traffic. We were upgraded to a... More

We stayed one Saturday night. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. BUT -- we did not get any sleep until around 3 am because of the noise from partiers and loud music from cars. It was the worst night's rest (or lack of rest) my wife and I have ever had at any hotel or B and B. Cannot... More

First time visiting Annapolis. Lucky enough to partake in a Living Social offer at the Annapolitan. What a treat! Clean, clean, clean. We even felt comfortable walking in bare feet. Innkeeper John was extremely hospitable. Fresh cooked breakfast was delicious. Inn on bus line to village. Very convenient (since we arrived via train). Looking forward to a return visit.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. It was not too large, but it suited us fine for a two day stay. The breakfast was delicious, the housekeeping was first rate, and we recommend this to anyone interested in a comfortable, reasonably affordable stay in Annapolis. It is not in walking distance to downtown Annapolis, but it only takes less... More

We stayed at The Annapolitan for our one year anniversary. John met us at the front door and gave us the basics for our stay. The house is an old Victorian about a mile from the bar scene in Annapolis. We ubered to dinner and it cost $10. The place was well kept, clean and interesting to walk around. We... More

This namesake B&B is conveniently located about a mile from the village and the Naval Academy with easy access in and out of town. There is sufficient free parking and provides very comfortable and elegant accommodations. We prefer grand historic hotels or historic Victorian era B&Bs and mansion hotels, which impart the atmosphere of the Gilded Age. This fits the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Over one hundred years ago, the Annapolitan bed and breakfast became one of first venues in Annapolis to accommodate guests. The gorgeous colonial home, originally a farm, housed workers during the week before they headed back to their homes on eastern shore each weekend. Over the years, many things have changed at our quaint Annapolis bed and breakfast, but many things remain the same. The Annapolitan Bed and Breakfast continues hosting guests from near and far, providing quaint, cozy accommodations for those wishing to experience the maritime city of Annapolis. While the city of Annapolis has grown, becoming a travel destination for sailing, dining, entertainment, shopping and historic sightseeing, the elegance and hospitality of the Annapolitan remains unchanged, establishing it as one of the finest Annapolis bed and breakfasts around. ... more   less
