I used to stay here fairly often. So when I had an appt. at the State House, I booked a room. The room rate was reasonable so when the room was older and more outdated than I'd ever experienced there, I said, "Well, it is cheap." BUT then I realized that the carpet was filthy AND there was a stinky...

Found the Senator to be very satisfactory. The room was very clean....particularly the bathroom. Small, but adequate and well priced. Good breakfast included. Staff helpful. I did not use the spa, but other family members did and often choose the Senator for the Soa experience.

This was a good place to stay in Augusta! Had everything we were looking for- namely, a bed and bathroom, and a convenient location! The pool was nice, however the floor sort of grossed me out (hair everywhere) and I did not want to walk around barefoot. I do not understand why people would think this is a "luxury" hotel-...

I'd have to say this is one of the most handicapped friendly hotels I've ever stayed in. There was a shower bench in the roll in shower waiting for me unlike other hotels where they have to go out and buy one or tell you to deal. Any issues or problems were taken care of immediately. No hotel is perfect,...

Turndown service was never done in our room. We stayed 2 nights and they never came in to give us towels for the second day. When we asked for more towels we were told, "Come get them, we don't deliver towels." Lobby smelled like pot when we returned from dinner. I will not return.

It was a great facility. Fitness classes were available if interested. Restaurant was fantastic. Great stop on our road trip. Highly Recommend. Stayed years ago and it was just as good as the first time.

Our well stopped functioning at home, so we used the Senator as home base for showers and an oasis in the midst of a stressful time. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The staff was exceptionally kind and understanding of our situation. The staff helped in any way they could and beyond. The Senator has a relaxed, home-like...

I stay here every time I am in Augusta. This year's visit was an extended one and I will never stay any where else. It feels like HOME. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I ask for directions or suggestions and someone always is there to assist. The food for breakfast is good, waitstaff are super accomodating, and everything...

The Senator is a great place to get in shape! I have a gym membership, and I love the fitness classes that are led by fun and energetic instructors! And Saturday morning yoga is a very nice way to destress after a busy work week. Other things I like about working out at the Senator are helpful and friendly staff...

The breakfast buffet is good and the service was good. The professional pictures of the fitness center and pool will not disappoint you. The fitness center has outside members so the equipment is better than the average hotel. The first time we stayed there, I was surprised that the fitness center came with the room. We were not disappointed this...
