We stayed at the Senator for two nights, in a Congressional Level room--not the cheapest, not the swankest. For high season, we thought the room rate was reasonable. Arrived at the room--it was very dark. We had to ask housekeeping for a floor lamp near...More
It's old and musty smelling, definitely not worth the high cost. Unfortunately, it's just not the same as it was in its hayday. And the breakfast is lackluster. Better to jump in your car and go to Slate's or something.

Hope that's been helpful.
