My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place, and I’m so glad we did. Our suite was to die for, many conversation pieces in and out of the room. It was just the getaway we needed. Olga has the best breakfast!

As I walk up the stairs I felt amazed of the colors, and the comfortable furniture. Very artsy. The host was adorable, but not as adorable as her must well behave dog, Hurricane. He’s a real sweetheart.♥️ I’m a vegetarian, and she fixed me the most incredible , and tasty breakfast. My bed was so comfortable that I fell to sleep in minutes. I highly recommend this place, and would definitely go again.♥️♥️

Staying at the Munroe Inn was like steping back in time! Original tile and wood work make up this beautiful historic house. My grandmother, cousin and I spent a night at the Inn and we all enjoyed ourselves. The inn keeper Olga was very hospitable and took the time to explain the history of the house to us. In the morning Olga treated us to a delicious homemade breakfast complete with herbal tea, seasonal fruits and vetegables. The Munroe Inn is the place to stay if you are ever in the Auburn or Lewiston, Maine area!

It's a very classic Maine style Inn in a large old house that's been converted for the purpose. Eclectic furnishings and antiques give it a charming vibe. Room was nice size, clean and quite comfortable and had a/c. Bathroom had older fixtures that, while a bit worn, exemplified an era gone by and were all clean and very functional. Host was very helpful and delightful. Short walk to the river and riverwalk and the bars and restaurants at the foot of the bridge. Good base for exploring locally.
