We have been bike riding on the Trace for the past 10 years with friends, and have always stayed in Covington or Mandeville. This was our first stay in Abita Springs, and we just loved the Hotel. Clean, comfortable, and charming. Of course the location is the best, and sitting on the porch visiting with friends while looking out over the gardens with the lush foliage was such a treat! Parking, check in, check out, condition of the room- we were so satisfied. Will definitely be back again!
Charming little hotel with a beautiful wrap around porch and courtyard garden equipped with a natural spring. Located along the Tammany Trace bike trail and in walking distance of fun Abita Springs outing like the Abita Springs Brew Pub or the Abita Mystery House. They have bikes for use the the rooms had a fun retro aesthetic with all modern comforts. I felt very comfortable staying here during Phase 1 of Louisiana's re-opening-- they made check in and check out effortless, contactless and it was apparent that they were taking all precautions to keep things very clean and safe for everyone. I would very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend!
We really enjoyed the porch and courtyard. We were within walking distance of the Abita Brew Pub and Tammany Trace. The only problem was the noisy AC unit that made a weird whining noise at all times. It made it hard to sleep.
The Abita Springs Hotel recently reopened with extensive sanitary measures and contact free check-in/check-out. They are taking cleaning seriously here and every surface could pass the white glove test. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, fresh, peaceful and inviting. The attention to detail in the decor and personal amenities is top notch. I stayed in the Parlor Suite. It was spacious and awash in natural light but blackout curtains keep the light out when you turn in for the evening. The bathroom has both a large walk-in shower and a claw-foot tub. The cost of $159 per night for the space is quite reasonable for what you get.My friend stayed in a King Room, which goes for $99, also a good price. The St. Tammany Trace runs right right in front of the house. There are a couple of bikes available for guests or you can rent them. We cannot wait to go back.…
I am so thankful we tried the Abita Springs Hotel, it exceeded our expectations and so did the surrounding town. Our room was clean, beautiful, and was also located on a lovely, centrally located property! We enjoyed eating at the nearby cafe' and touring the Mystery House. I hope to return soon and ride a bike along the bicycle trace. We usually stay in New Orleans and from now on, this will be our go-to rather than the high rates and small rooms in the city.
