Solid hostel located in the nicer part of Panama City. Is adequate in terms of providing basic facilities for a few nights stay. The drawback is it is far from sites like Casco Viejo and the national bus terminal. The owner get extra points for willingness to store my backpack during long layover Value For Money: 4/5 Security: 4/5 Location: 3/5 Facilities: 3/5 Staff: 5/5 Cleanliness: 4/5
Panama House is a small and quaint Bed & Breakfast but I went there nearly everyday for lunch or dinner. They serve traditional Panamanian dishes. Check out the fried fish, fries ( yes, the fries!)potato salad with beets and mango fruit drink. Delicious! Reasonable prices, good service and friendly staff.
This was an overnight stay for travel early next morning. The hotel owner was warm and friendly and did everything she could to accommodate my vegetarian diet. She spoke limited English but we were able to communicate. Nothing fancy and good pricefor short overnight stay.
stayed here for one night on the way home. rooms are cute but small. it is in need of a sprucing up but it is clean. at night, this place can get a little noisy especially in the common area in the back. they have a restaurant but i did not eat here. it is a hostel but some rooms have private baths. The staff is friendly and helpful. tip . the room out back by the common area is noisy and there is some light so if it is sleep you are after, don't book this one.
Unusual place to stay. Rooms not very big but bed very comfortable. Place clean but parts of the building need repairs. Owner very lovely lady. Breakfast plentiful and sitting area out doors so feels good to be out side. Owner very helpful and is welcoming.
