Near Tocumen International Airport, they offer guests shuttle transportation service from and to airport. Comfortable room, AC can improve; decent food in bar by the pool and good customer service. Taxi service is also available. If you have a long wait for your next flight it's a fair option to rest.
We arrive to the airport, and a bus was sent for pick up by Riande Hotel. It has a shift every hour. The room was clean and a nice smell of roses. The pool is huge and warm at night. The bar near the pool was great, good drinks and great dinner. Next day we left to the Airport with the bus of Riande Hotel. Highly recomended
Nice hotel just a few steps from the airport but quiet no noise from the airport, They have a large pool area and the food is very good. Good internet and friendly staff. Good beds I will stay again when I have a flight leaving in the morning
Clean, friendly, free shuttle to airport, food below average: soggy lettuce in Chicken Ceasar salad and carton eggs and lunchmeat for breakfast. Basically upscale hotel but food is poor, so overpriced.
Stay away. This hotel is disgusting. We are staying here for our last day for an early morning flight to the US. This hotel reminds me of a seedy, dirty motel. Dinner service was terrible. Food and drink marginal. Stay in a beautiful Panama City hotel and take a cab or Uber into the airport.
I was not impressed with their customer service. I had requested assistance to get someone from Minimed to come give us a PCR test (required for travel home), and it was very apparent that they much prefer we go to the clinic (at almost twice the cost). We spent hours by the pool, and not once did a staff come to see if we, or any others, wanted to order anything, even though people were going in to the bar and restaurant to order food and drinks. There is no coffee/tea in the rooms, nor do they provide even a glass for water! You have to agree to not bring in any food or drink, and ordering in outside food is also not allowed. On a positive note, the room was clean, and the food there is good (the pizza was quite good). I just don’t like having virtually no options unless cabbing it to a restaurant.…
Everything was literally abandoned. We arrived at 9:15 pm, after a long trip, and without the luggage (air company didn't deliver it). We kindly asked for some food, and they said restaurant was already closed (at 9:15?!). We had to insist in order to get some food. No room Service available after 9:30 as well! No minibar in your room, no free water, no possibility to get any food or beverages from the automatic machine, as it was empty and off. Dirty trays on the alley, phone was removed from the wall, moldy smell everywhere. The receptionist and restaurant "manager" cashier were rude and impolite. When I commented at reception that the place was basically abandoned, the receptionist said "yes, it's abandoned!" My gf was with me, and can confirm as well. Stay away from this place! Oh, the Casino?! It's not even inside the hotel... Pathetic! I should sue the hotel and Booking, because they allow this kind of "hotels" to stay on their platform. When I asked to Booking for a refund, they told me it was not possible... …
BE CAUTIOUS at this hotel! We were ROBBED; and it was completely targeted. We saw the video footage with the manager and filed a police report. Maid did our cleaning while we were out. While she was there she unlocked our patio door (there are 2 locks; the second being at the very top and it’s a bolt. Kids CANNOT reach it… we know this because we checked it). All was fine when we got back after lunch but we did not re check patio door lock after lunch. After lunch, we left our iPads and laptops in the room while we swam, 50 feet away for 45 mins. Video footage showed 2 men (manager claimed they were NOT employees) watched us arrive, go to room & leave then to the pool… literally 3 mins after we closed our door they went in the now unlocked patio door, and took our belongings. The videos showed them walk out the front door. They even RELOCKED the patio door behind them (because we checked it again after we noticed we were robbed). The maid was in on this. The hotel claims their security company will reimburse us— I will update this post IF THEY DO. If no update assume they lied about that. It took us FOUR requests for the manager to call the police. He didn’t want to do it. But we had to force it— which is sketchy.…
This is a very tired hotel that looks great when you walk into the front lobby. Sadly, it goes downhill once you round the corner and head to your room. The furnishings are just really tired, our shower leaked terribly and the floor wasn’t vacuumed very well. Since the city was on lockdown, we ate at their restaurant. Surprisingly, it was not bad and it appeared they only had one waitress. Since there were only two tables, I’m guessing they didn’t need anymore. Of course, the location to the airport and the free shuttle topped it from two stars to three. It’s not bad, it OK
We stayed here one night to be close to the airport for a departure the following day. The airport shuttle service was very convenient. Never expecting much from a hotel restaurant, we were delighted with our dinner- well presented, tasty & portioned. Our room was fine- clean & comfortable. I think because of covid, the hotel was quite empty as people there were just getting back in to travel.
