I felt at home in this hotel. It is a big, gated, rectangular mansion with a central courtyard in the middle where guests have a substantial breakfast (eggs, beans or rice and beans, white cheese, fried plantains, bread, coffee, and juice). I loved the tile floors in the rooms, the silence, the attention to detail, the kindness of Lic. Mariana...

This hotel was our first stop after landing in Managua, and after a long flight and a hot trip there the air conditioned room was to die for. The staff were extremely friendly and helped me drag my 50 pound suitcase up to the top floor with a smile. The beds were comfortable, the decor was very artsy, and the...

This is an old-style hotel as they do not take resevations online and you need to call (in Spanish). They do not give any confirmation number thus I was not sure the reservtion was really made. When I arrived late, a nice gentleman welcomed me and escorted to a room. I prefered a secound room as it seemed more secure,...

I recently stayed a couple of days at this Hotel. This Hotel is a bargain for what you receive; nice clean rooms, nice Nicaraguan breakfast every morning and a attentive staff! I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at El Conquistador in Managua. Like others have said in the review it definitely has an inviting and family atmosphere. Me and my husband three kids stayed here during our excision to Nicaragua from the states and we loved the attention to detail and the colonial style of the hotel. The rooms were great: cold...

Bed and breakfast in the heart of Managua. I absolutely loved the room which was ice cold and the service. Great experience and I definetly reccomend to my friends. The hotel the was friendly and the breakfast was in the traditonal nicaraguan flavor. Its the best place to stay in nicsragua.

I am from the United States and chose to travel to Nicaragua because my friends told me it is an undiscovered paradise. My stay at El Conquistador, along with my travels all over Nicaragua, was confirmed my expectations of Nicaragua. I learned that the hotel was named after the Conquistadores from Spain who traveled to Nicaragua during the Age of...

Managua has a lot of history of being an old colonial city being conquered by the conquistadores. However, as a third world country, it is has been hard for the country to come out of its shell as a tourist destination. Also, it is hard to find decent accomodations if you are not one of the major chains. But El...

My family we all stayed in the triple suite and it was a huge discount for a such a spacious suite. It’s cozy, comfortable, and well located within Nicaragua next to the Tourism office. The air conditioning is a must as Nicaragua is a very hot country. The staff feels like family and are very attentive of your needs. The...
