Stayed here for beginning and then again at the end of our family's trip to Nicaragua. Expectations exceeded would be an understatement. The staff from top to bottom were absolutely first rate and always warm and welcoming. The ever gracious owner, Manfred, helped us out with transportation and logistics as well advice on what to see and do to get... More

What a unique place to stay! Easy access to the airport and downtown Managua, but more importantly - staffed with the nicest people, who provide an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. Manfred goes above and beyond to welcome guests like friends, from breakfast whenever you want to travel advice and good stories. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, there's wifi and... My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to heading to Little Corn Island. The airport transfer was a bit pricey, but it was very convenient, and they were right on time, so I don't mind paying a little extra. Rooms were clean and reasonably-sized. Free wifi was great. The breakfast every morning was delicious and very filling... More

Excellent spot. Manfred is very accommodating and has all kinds of great ideas for excursions. He'll let you know what to expect for cab fares and other costs. If you need something, he'll try and find it. We'd stay here again. Don't expect the Ritz, but dollar for dollar, it's well worth staying here.

Great place to stay in Managua. Hotel staff were tremendously helpful with booking other places & transportation, leaving our bags for a week when we visited the Corn Islands, and general travel tips. Rooms are charming, but the owner and staff are what really makes it. My girlfriend and I ended up coming through the city several times, and stayed... More

What a fantastic ‘little gem’ in Managua. I stayed at La Pyramide for just 1 night prior to my flight back home to the UK. I had researched carefully about where to stay & the Trip advisor reviews convinced me that this would be a good bet. I confirm that everything that people have said is totally true. It is... More

I stayed two nights at Hotel Pyramide. I had a problem with my charger (german charger) and the owner solved my problem. This hotel is really nice, people who stay there come often. Very nice, familiar atmosphäre. Rooms are spacious, very clean, Wifi is amazing as well.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel La Pyramide because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. Indeed, the neighborhood, a suburb of the main city, is clean and safe. The staff was extremely accommodating - volunteering to drive us into the wharf area of the city and later sending back my heavy new Northface jacket left in the taxi which... More

Manfred (the owner) and his staff are the nicest around. My wife and I booked a last minute trip with no agenda or plan. Manfred fed us delicious breakfast and pointed us in the right direction each morning. The hotel is simple but beautiful. Wifi is fast, air conditioning works great, excellent bars and restaurants nearby at Zona Hippos, nice... More

Boutique hotels like this are hard to find. I searched trip advisor when planning for lodging while coming and going on a three week mission trip to Central America. Trio advisor rated this #1 and if you come here you will know why. The owner and manager, Manfeed and his assistant Sharon are the perfect hotel hosts. From the moment... More
