Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Excellent location right at Maidan and easy to find with the sign and in Uber, google maps etc. Staff were friendly and helpful on check-in. The room was a nice size with sofa and desk. Complimentary big bottle of water each day which is useful. I wasn't aware that the room would be cleaned, so this was also a bonus, though not really necessary for a short stay. Did not try breakfast, so cannot comment. Shower temperature and pressure was good and plentiful shampoo and shower gel bottles so you will not need to bring any. Overall, very pleasant stay in good location. No complaints at all, good price and will happily stay again.

We stayed there 5 nights over New Years Eve and were really satisfied. The location is really convenient right in the center so close to the Independence place. We had a one bedroom apartment and one studio. Both were well equiped, very clean, the beds were comfortable. Service was incredibly efficient: the batteries from one thermostat were dead, we called them, and within seconds someone showed up with new batteries. We were also missing a plate, we called them, and similarly within seconds someone showed up with the right plate. We broke a glass and they replaced it and did not charge us for it. Also, they offered us a bottle of Prosecco and a nice chocolate for New Years Eve!
If we had to mention a few negatives, when we arrived, in the apartment, for some reason, the heating was off (not just because of the dead batteries) and temperature was around 17°C - it would have been nice to warm up the apartment ahead of our arrival (and they would have noticed that one of the thermostats had dead batteries). Also, on the 7th floor, rooms get quite noisy when it rains. Finally, in the evening, Internet performance is often very poor but we are not sure if this is specific to their service provider or a generala problem in Kiev.

I am a world traveler been to the most important cities world wide. This hotel is AMAZING. The property, the staff, the location and the price are all excellent. Many of us look and search for great deals. For example when looking for a new car you search for %10 discounts or so. This hotel offers the same exact services and quality as brand names like Hyatt, Marriot & others BUT with way less in fees. I stayed at the Fairmont & Intercontinental Kiev. This hotel is the BEST DEAL if you are looking for a great and for an unbeatable price.The rooms are beautifully decorated. The lobby and reception are nice spaces. The luggage man was awesome and handled every single piece of luggage.
Then comes the location of the property. It is located in the absolute heart of Beautiful Kiev. You will be within few steps walking distance to anything your heart desires weather you are a family, adults, single parent with kids, this hotel has all your needs. Our friend joined with her 12yr daughter Kiev local and she had the best time in her life bcuz location.
Finally, the amazing staff (Victoria & Tania). The 2 most amazing personalities you will ever meet. Very hospitable, respectful, educated and will make sure your stay is more comfortable than anywhere else. I cannot remember who was the manager because they were all amazing people answering any question.
I'm from Los Angeles and I wish a hotel like this will expand to the beaches of Los Angel & Miami Florida

I stayed 7 nights at Senator Maiden in one of their apartment style rooms (kitchen, living space, bedroom and bathroom) and my girlfriend and I both absolutely loved it. It was clean, comfortable, stylish and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. They set up a covid test for me, arranged transport, and even arranged to have some groceries delivered when we failed to find what we were looking for! Then there's the location, which is nearly perfect. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kyiv, about a one minute walk from Victory Square. It's absolutely gorgeous! And finally, the price was unbeatable. I'm shocked at how affordable the hotel was given how nice it was. I paid only about $130 (3500 uah) per night for an entire apartment! This was during the pandemic though, so that could have been at least part of the reason it was so affordable. I will definitely stay here again! Супер!!!

friendly, good and fast. the cleaning girls are very friendly - They give you drinking water whenever you need it, and any inconvenience they are willing to help you. It is located in a place with many restaurants around it. The area is safe and calm, and the hotel provides everything you need.

Was pleasantly surprised with the conveniently located apartment, cleanliness and tidiness of rooms, and hospitality, pleasantness, and helpfulness of staff from kitchen breakfast meals and delivery, housekeeping, security, front desk, and management. Location is within the city center and at center of the action. Grocery stores, shopping malls, restaurants, and many other conveniences are all within very short walking distances. Nearly everything else, including Covid testing for arrival and departure flights, is within 15 to 30 min walking distances or short Uber rides for about 60-70 UAH. Rooms are as advertised, spacious, modern, and well lit, if you like turning on lights. Stayed in the Superior Room, which does not have a kitchen. Television selection is great with about 100 channels, so there is a little bit of everything. Shower is nice with both a normal shower and rain shower. Good value and will stay again. The staff is very nice and interested in your good stay. The rooms are large and are kept clean. The breakfast buffet is nice and you can order well cooked omelets and other courses. The hotel lacks a bar. It is not possible to have a glass of wine or a beer after work which I personally like very much. I can surely recommend the hotel.

Features : A 4 star hotel it deserves. Excellent location near the city center. Hotel lobby is ok. Great reception and fast room delivery. Sarajid for the standard of the hotel, approximately 250 dirhams. Spacious, beautiful, elegant rooms, with distinctive furniture and decor, with large windows. The bed is very large and comfortable, covered with fine fine bedding. The bathroom is not the most spacious, beautifully structured and distributed in very nice colors. An excellent varied breakfast served in the rooms according to the guest's timing. Defects : There is no designated parking for the hotel, and the hotel website is very crowded. There is only one elevator in the hotel and it is very small and narrow.

The reception staff are amazing, always helpful, always smiling and very attentive and made my stay such a comfortable one. The rooms were always clean and tidy with sheets and towels replaced regularly and the breakfast cooked to perfection every day by the lovely chef lady. Firstly, the staff is amazing!!! Going at times, beyond their regular roles and picking up some food for us, or some items at the pharmacy (apteka) or store. Do not hesitate to ask the staff for some recommendations on the local cafes or restaurants.
The location of this hotel cannot be better...It is right behind the Mcdonald's on Maidan...it is close to the metro station too, and the park. and it is far enough from the main square to be peaceful at night.
I had the opportunity to try 3 different room types, and all were very spacious and comfortable.
Senator Maidan is for me a true Home away from home

I often travel with a chair bound relative. At Senator:
No special accommodations. One step up into the lobby. Elevator very narrow and may fit a 22" chair but no bigger. Floors are ok. Rooms and bathrooms are large with hard floors. Small threshold into the bath. The room I stayed in had walk in shower.
The reception is attended by a fully English speaking employee until about 2000hrs and the front door is open - after that the night porter takes over and you just ring the bell for entry. If you email the front desk to let them know of your arrival time then the key should be ready and waiting for the night porter to give to you. I have found the place to be very friendly and helpful so long as you tell them in advance. Hope that helps! I tried to post the email address but trip advisor doesn't allow it - sorry.
"Everything is perfect. Rooms are nice and you can rest very well after a long trip. All famous places are close to the hotel location. You can walk everywhere in 15mins."
