I had a nice experience in the hotel. Location is good, there was a view from the room to the river because of kind upgrade. Service is great, all the requests were done fast. I liked the breakfast, but it starts at 08:00 at the moment I stayed there. Special thanks to Roman, who made my experience of the breakfast very good. I stayed in the hotel 2 days, but he remembered my preferences and noticed details. Also people in parking are very nice and helpful. There is restaurant only on the second floor. The service was good, but the choice of food is general with no specific cuisine. Spa works at this time from 10:00 to 20:00, you need to book sauna 1 hour before. I didn’t have time to go there. My experience in Fairmont hotel is good.
One of the best Capital city hotels I have been so far Located just next do the Dniepr river ! Very spacious apartments, perfect staff who will not disturb you during business meeting ect. I was visiting this hotel twice and I will do it again soon!!! Top recommendation in Kiev
Top hotel in Kiew. Perfect location, nice riverviews, 5 star setup, great hospitality and service mentality. Proximity to important tourist sites and business locations, good gym and spa, an inhouse casino for those interested and great rooms.
This is another excellent 2 night Fairmont stay, this time in elegant Podil area of beautiful Kyiv. Great location facing Dnieper River. Quite competent and friendly check in process and, generally speaking, front desk staff. My Accor Platinum status was acknowledged and rewarded by free upgrade, nice amenity, and complimentary drinks. Tasteful and elegant common areas (as in most Fairmont hotels). Spacious and stylish rooms, well furnished too, with large bathrooms. Nice bar, restaurant, and coffee shop were also good. They have casino on site, I guess it is a big magnet, but of no interest to me. All in all, one of the best Kyiv hotels. Certainly expensive for Kyiv hotel prices, but worth it!
Nice hotel with good, clean and spacious rooms. Good service and great breakfast and staff is very helpful. Close to the centre of Kiev and on the good side of the city for transfer to/from airport. I can recommend this hotel although it is rather pricy.
Amazing few days spent at the Fairmont. Nothing seemed too much trouble and all of the staff were welcoming and smiling every time I saw them. The restaurant staff in particular were brilliant, and went out of their way to help. Polina especially was lovely and cheerful every day, and the head waiter was brilliant, remembering everybody’s preference for breakfast drink etc each day. The maid service was fantastic and the rooms were spotless. I requested different pillows, extra coffee and other bits and it was no trouble
We were in this hotel for 4 nights. We were satisfied from the first contact. We had a room on the 9th floor overlooking the river. Absolutely amazing view. It slightly disturbs the noise from the highway, but the hotel can only influence it by replacing the windows, but the view balanced it. The staff helpful and helpful and the concierge arranged for us what we needed and was very helpful. Breakfast excellent and sufficient. There was just a small pool in the wellness, but we knew that on arrival. The restaurant was a big disappointment. The service was fine, but the food, which looked amazing on the plate, the tastes were completely unbalanced and completely overcharged. Basically, I was glad I ate it quickly. It's a shame, because this hotel deserves good cuisine. So if you want to eat well, choose another restaurant. The hotel bar is beautiful and with a good atmosphere. Despite the fact that the restaurant was the weakest link in the hotel, I give the full number. The restaurant cannot be evaluated separately. Otherwise we will be happy to return to the hotel.…
Stayed at the Fairmont Kyiv for three nights and I have to say the overall experience was very disappointing. The positives were the room was spacious, clean and had a very luxurious feel. The spa and pool were also very nice and the staff at these facilities were very polite and courteous. However, the staff outside of the spa were very dismissive and didn’t seem to care much about the guests. On check in and check out, they were both very slow experiences while they decided to check in other guests first. The maids would still knock on the door to clean the room despite having a do not disturb sign on the door. We didn’t eat at all at the hotel as the first morning we went down for breakfast and we were told “Nothing is vegetarian on the menu”. As a 5* hotel surely you could cater to your guests needs and make something by request? Does it necessarily have to be written on a menu for it to be served? There are plenty of lovely hotels in Kyiv so I would advise staying elsewhere.…
While the property seems grand from the outset I have been very disappointed with the service. For Kiev, it is an expensive property and for this you would expect your bathroom to be cleaned or better pillows to be provided if requested. We have experienced neither and, in fact, were told we would need medical pillows from the nurse. The pillows are absolutely awful and I was so disappointed with the response. Also overall, I just feel that the level of service provided by this “5*” hotel is below average and the staff are not that accommodating or friendly. Overall incredibly disappointed and would not recommend this property to anyone visiting the city.
Everything was ok,the staff , rooms, there is pray room , location near to center, service 24 hours, internet fast , lobby very nice , the room size very good , there is parking, all sfatt trying to help, the spa very nice, there is Currency Exchange in hotel
